### "Dialpad is a great phone system for sales teams"

August 8, 2025

5.0

Overall, my experience with Dialpad has been very good. The platform is easy to use, with a clean interface that makes calling, messaging, and video conferencing straightforward. Call quality is consistently clear, and I appreciate how seamlessly it works across devices - whether I’m on my laptop or phone.

Pros

The AI-powered features, like real-time transcription and automated call summaries, save a ton of time and help me capture important details without having to take constant notes. Integrations with CRM and other tools have also made it easier to keep our sales workflow organized and efficient.

Cons

While the AI transcription is useful, it can miss words or struggle with industry-specific terminology.

### "An effective Communication Platform for Educators"

May 25, 2026

5.0

My overall experience with Dialpad has been positive. It is a convenient and reliable communication tool that supports collaboration and organization in an educational setting. The platform is user-friendly, works well across devices, and helps streamline communication with staff, students, and families.

Pros

What I liked most about Dialpad as an educator was its ease of communication and accessibility. It made it simple to connect with students, parents, and colleagues through calls, messaging, and video meetings in one platform. The mobile access and call management features were especially helpful for staying organized and responsive throughout the school day.

Cons

One thing I liked least about Dialpad was that call quality could occasionally depend on internet connectivity, which sometimes caused delays or dropped calls. There was also a learning curve for some advanced features, and notifications could become overwhelming during busy workdays.

### "Meh!😑 limited integration capabilities, difficult to get support"

June 5, 2025

3.0

My overall experience with dial pad is neither negative or positive. If I had to consider the phone system, we were using prior to migrating to dial pad. I would say I would prefer dial pad over that phone system, but there are still many limitations with this phone system related to integration with our CRM

Pros

I do enjoy that dial pad integrate with our main CRM system HubSpot. It allows us to have call centers with multiple agents that are part of a team get calls routed based on a specific preference, which is also ideal for both support and sales.

Cons

What I typically find I like least about dial pad is their support team. I find it difficult to get issues addressed and resolved. I also do not like that. The integration with HubSpot is very limited and we typically run into issues for things are not getting associated or logged correctly

### "Convenient Dialer "

August 12, 2025

5.0

So far, Dialpad is the best calling/text message software that I use. It is user-friendly, and it has everything you wish a dialer should have.

Pros

I like how smooth and easy to use this software is. Especially their AI when they provide a summary of what happened during the call and transcripts. Sometimes, we forget what happened during the call, and through this, we can easily check what transpired during the call.

Cons

It's not like I dislike it, but the AI voice isolation. It just automatically turns off while on a call, but it's still a huge help to reduce/remove background noises.

### "Great except when it’s not"

September 9, 2025

4.0

We use this for our entire team & most team members use it on a daily basis. Outages & dropped calls are not infrequent events & have been hard to get resolution for despite ongoing communication with their support team.

Pros

Dialpad has allowed or remote team to have some continuity with incoming calls & texts & made it easier to record the information covered in each communication.

Cons

Troubleshooting issues feels slow & ineffective, even after escalated. Issues with dropped calls were attributed to our tech/browser despite being told that our tech was appropriate for use with the tool.

### "Unreliable phone service. Horrible for business owners! "

April 22, 2025

1.0

For nearly 12 weeks now, we have experienced numerous technical issues with our phone service. Our Dialpad Administrator has spent more than 18 hours attempting to resolve the issues associated with not being to add users, edit user profiles, competing calls, routing calls to mobile numbers and answering calls. Dialpad has not provided the goods and services outlined in our Service Order. We have emailed, chatted, opened support tickets and called your support team. Our law firm, which relies on fully functioning phone service, can no longer afford to continue trying to resolve these issues. Every time we try to connect, the call either doesn’t go through or we can’t hear the caller. That’s issue despite multiple attempts. The problem is so fundamental that Dialpad has failed in its essential purpose, and we have lost confidence in their ability to deliver a working solution. We continue to ask for early termination of our contract with no further financial obligation but have been repeatedly denied.

Pros

I honestly don't have anything good to say about Dialpad. Our features and functionality with another phone carrier were far more user friendly, reliable and robust.

Cons

Our Dialpad Administrator has spent more than 18 hours attempting to resolve the issues associated with not being to add users, edit user profiles, competing calls, routing calls to mobile numbers and answering calls.

### "Terrible for Solopreneurs or Basic Tier Plan"

January 28, 2026

1.0

Terrible platform. Terrible Support. It seemed to be fine until things were breaking and no support to back it up.

Pros

It worked great when it worked, but ended up costing me a very large client due to the issues I experienced.

Cons

Issues with getting my account set up correctly to begin with. SMS stopped working because I didn't click the button that said auto-recharge (why not advise this)? The support team wouldn't help me because I didn't upgrade to a higher tier....wtf?

### "Terrible Phone and SMS Service"

April 28, 2025

1.0

The service is unacceptable. It takes an unreasonably long time to connect to calls, and the SMS service is pathetic. You end up wasting months trying to finalize the "privacy policy" on your website, only to be left unable to send SMS messages. The constant excuse of waiting on a third party shows a blatant lack of accountability. It’s as if that "third party" exists in a realm that is completely unreachable. Don't waste your time here.

Pros

The phone app works on iPhones, and the desktop app functions well. AI transaction feature also does a good job.

Cons

SMS suffers from inadequate customer support. Their team shows little accountability, merely shifting responsibility to third parties instead of resolving issues directly. This lack of ownership is frustrating and undermines the overall customer experience.

4.0

Overall it’s been great! The desktop app is just tricky. If they could resolve the issues of not being able to open on my computer so that I am not constantly on my phone, I would absolutely love the program.

Pros

It protects my own personal cell. When I’m off the clock I am truly off because I set my working hours.

Cons

The desktop app is not user friendly. It very rarely even opens on my computer. I only use it on my phone.

### "Look elsewhere"

December 13, 2024

2.0

We bought supported phones and paid for premium onboarding. It's been disastrous. A month after our go-live date, we are still struggling to get basic features to work. Among the worst, we learned callers could hear what we said while they were on hold. Their support team seem to be googling answers. RECORD THE SALES PITCH. Promised features don't exist. Also beware that there are huge amounts of taxes and fees that they don't tell you about when giving you a quote. I was quoted $540, but they did not give me any indication that they would add nearly 40% to my monthly fee in taxes and fees, making it actually $750.

Pros

The AI transcription is nice, and the soft phone is nice. There is a robust set of features.

Cons

They misrepresent available features. I was told we could have Teams availability synced so that our phones wouldn't ring when we were in meetings. I was also told that if we had Microsoft synced, we would be able to see contextual emails for that contact and anyone inside our domain. Neither of those is true.

### "Love Dialpad and will never turn back!"

November 13, 2023

5.0

Pros

I love the simplicity and ease of use that makes using Dialpad easier than using a normal landline office phone. It is easy to move throughout the app and explore all the features, and you can seamlessly move your calls throughout your office/organization with no hassle or extra steps. Whether you are using it for yourself or as an office/company phone system it is an effective tool that makes the crucial communication flawless and simple. 10/10 recommend

Cons

I don't have anything bad to say about dialpad, except maybe adding a software that allows you to sent mass texts in a non-group text setting. Which to be fair, I am sure they probably have it and I just do not know how to use it though.

### "Great tool for Remote CX Teams"

August 1, 2025

4.0

Pros

Dialpad excels at delivering a consumer-friendly, all-in-one cloud communications platform. Its modern UI, AI-powered call transcriptions, and transparent per-seat pricing make it easy for small DTC teams to adopt without heavy IT lift.

Cons

Its advanced analytics and integrations skew more toward B2B needs, so truly DTC-focused brands may find limited direct-to-consumer marketing or customer-engagement features compared with specialized CX platforms. Doesn't integrate with all the tools we use.

### "DO NOT USE HORRIBLE SERVICE"

November 11, 2024

1.0

Absolutely horrible experience with Dialpad, Initially it was fine, however as soon as I had any technical issue it gets passed from team member to team member all telling me to do the same thing that did not fix the issue. They then proceeded to tell me the issue was because I didn't correctly check a box on their online portal. But guess what it was checked and I had already tried that. To then get passed onto another and another. All whilst nobody actually listened to the actual issue.

Pros

User interface was ok and fairly easy to get around. But nothing actually worked

Cons

Basically everything else - Customer service is more useless then a blind dog trying to figure out what is going on - Doesn't forward calls to external numbers effectively or efficiently.

### "Tactics DO Not Sign UP-Beware Deceptive Sales"

June 18, 2024

1.0

I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Dialpad. From the beginning, they lied to me to trick me into a contract with them. I was explicitly told that I would be able to add and remove users as needed for my business. However, this turned out to be a blatant lie. After adding users and then attempting to remove them just three days later, I was informed that I am now obligated to pay for the additional licenses, even though I am not using them. These licenses are now permanently added to my contract, contrary to the false assurance I was given that I could cancel at any time. Getting a hold of someone on the phone or receiving any form of customer support is practically non-existent. They only seem interested in talking to new customers, likely because they aim to trap as many people as possible into these deceitful contracts. Once you're in, they don't care about helping you out. The customer service is abysmal; they have no real interest in resolving issues or providing genuine assistance. I am now stuck paying over $300 for just 3 lines that I am using, while being contracted to pay for 7. On top of that, transferring your toll-free number is not free as they misleadingly imply—you have to pay additional fees to receive calls to your toll-free number. It is really messed up that a company would use such deceptive tactics to trick customers. I am determined to leave a review everywhere I possibly can to warn others about this platform. Save yourself the frustration and go somewhere else! Dialpad is not worth the headache and the hidden costs.

It is all a scam i don't like the way they use deceptive tactics to trick new customers into contracts

### "Dialpad a great alternative to legacy phone system for your business"

December 23, 2021

5.0

Dialpad has been great for our small business. Less expense then traditional land line. Also, easy to use with desktop application.

Pros

Dialpad has been easy to use and we have not had issues resulting in lost calls. You can load the program and make calls from any computer or mobile phone.

Cons

The thing that I have to deal with from time to time is selecting the speaker. This is more of a user issue but it would nice to be able to better select the input I would like to use.

Reason for choosing Dialpad

Cost and the ease of installation. I did not have to have a technician come out and install anything. Just download the app, stet up my users, and we were off and running.

### "Dialpad - modern communication"

January 26, 2023

5.0

Overall experience was superb - it is very modern. We make our communication through our workstation (desktop, laptop), we can have it installed in our mobile phones and make calls. I am from the Philippines but I can easily use it and call our clients from the US. As someone whose english is not her first language, I really appreciate the live transcription and option to replay/review call for recording and taking notes!

Pros

In a product, I always look for its accessibility and I'm glad we have Dialpad. I can easily work on my computer station, use it in a browser or the software application, I also have it on my phone and that feature allows me to be more flexible and available to my company. I also love that we are able to receive data/analytics report from Dialpad on my email and we see who are our top agents and we also have an option to export data. I also love the live transcription!!

Cons

Perhaps when we had issues with our call routing - I was kind of confused on how they are set up. I would like more options and variability added to call routing but so far it is currently working well for us.

Reason for choosing Dialpad

We had google voice - but Dialpad is very much more modern and efficient for us.

### "Dialpad Review"

March 1, 2019

4.0

Overall, the experience with Dialpad is quite positive. We came from another in house VOIP solution, and knowing that you always have someone ready to help you , gives you peace of mind. It does what its supposed to do, and the majority of the time it does it well!

Pros

One of the best features Dialpad has to offer is the ability to integrate with other services. Single sign on makes accessing Dialpad a breeze, and with GSuite requires one less password for myself, and all of our users. We all have so many passwords that we need some form of software to maintain them all! Interaction with other users through Gsuite, Salesforce, and many others also show up in the main interface allowing users to quickly go back to files, or conversations they recently had with other users. Unified communications is big in today's world and Dialpad handles it quite well. There is a decent variety of equipment that you can use with Dialpad, but it also allows us to completely remove the desk phone which is a nice touch, especially considering the types of work envoironments we have where users can chose where they would like to work. Last but not least, and at the core of its functionality the basic phone system. While allowing users to transfer calls amongst people, you are also able to transfer between devices, which means that, when your 1-2 meeting runs long, you can move your call to a mobile device if you need to get going. Overall the system is quite robust, and provides all the functionality one could ask for!

Cons

Its hard to list many cons, as we have only ever experienced a few, but here they are. Not all bluetooth, or wireless headsets play well with Dialpad. We have had to switch the headsets that a handful of our users depend on. That being said, once you have found one that works well, there are no problems. One other problem that we have encoutered is dropped calls, or unresponsive application. Most of the time, a simple restart of the application, or computer will resolve these issues, but they are still issues. Last but not least, the frequent updates. While it is good to continuously provide important updates, it feels like there is one every week, and not all users are comfortable with making these changes.

### "Misrepresentation of Services"

March 25, 2024

1.0

Pros

The idea that our phones, webchat, and fax could all be in one place.

Cons

Last fall, we signed up for their services, emphasizing the importance of seamless integration with Lawmatics, our CRM. Despite assurances that everything integrated smoothly, we've encountered major headaches along the way. We started talking with Dialpad last fall and had multiple calls/zoom meetings with them. We told them we used Lawmatics for our CRM and that it was critical that everything integrated directly to Lawmatics. We were assured on numerous occasions that everything did integrate into Lawmatics. Once we signed up for both phone and website chat, they started billing us for the website chat service, even though it was not up and running. They were still building it out, which they billed us an extra $1,000 and took another 2 months before they had the chat bot ready for us to even look at. Once we got the suspicion that the web chat did NOT integrate to Lawmatics, we emailed them directly and asked. It took over a month for them to finally come back and say that the web chat did NOT integrate directly with Lawmatics, but they were happy to build out a custom zapier connection for an additional $$$$ (crazy amount here). I immediately requested a refund and cancellation of the web chat services, and they have spent another 2 months beating around the bush before telling me that can't do that, and I'm stuck with their contract for web chat. This is after the issue we had with their fax service. We tried sending faxes for several weeks and then realized none were going through. When we reached out to Dialpad they said "oh yeah, that's a known issue"- a known issue that their fax doesn't work??? At least they did let us cancel that service. It's a reminder to be vigilant about who we partner with and to ensure that promises made align with the actual service provided. I hope this insight will help others avoid the mistake that I made in choosing to work with Dialpad.

### "It is not perfect but it is a great tool for doing long distance telephone call"

October 1, 2022

4.0

I use it every day and it works well sometimes and when that happens, I am able to make a sale. I also like that you are able to record your call and even if you forget to record the call, it can automatically translate your call into a written conversation which is nice when you are dealing with sales and agreement

Pros

You can contact clients regardless of where they are even if they do not have an internet connection since it acts as a telephone call and not an internet call

Cons

The connection sometimes is very bad and there is so much latency and issues when I use wireless headphones. My wireless headphone works well on my other software. Also, there are some phone numbers that you are not able to send a message to which could be helpful since dial pad can send text messages.

### "Has been a great piece of software for my business"

March 7, 2018

4.0

This software has allowed me to spin up or down business operations with the flip of a switch, and gives you a VERY full featured office phone solution for a fraction of the price of other companies. When comparing this to hardline phone systems, I honestly don't know why any company wouldn't just use this instead (as long as your computer has an ethernet connection).

Pros

I like that the software is affordable, reliable, and accessible in many different ways. I use it as the main business line for my company and adding/removing users is super easy, creating a main line is easy, and having access to your phone via apps anywhere you are is fantastic. I also am very impressed with their quality and their customer support. I was having an issue with call quality, and I couldn't tell if it was my bluetooth headphones or my wifi. Their team got REALLY technical digging into the transmission details from my call, and told me there was a lot of chatter on the wifi. I ended up just running an ethernet cable and have literally zero problems anymore.

Cons

The mobile app is good, but somehow not as reliable as the desktop software. I've had some issues making calls, and turn around and dial from my regular phone number and it works fine. I would suspect this has something to do with the fact that Dialpad uses internet instead of the regular phone line, but if I have plenty of LTE signal for a phone call I would think Dialpad would also work. As a result I generally just feel safer taking important calls from the desktop.

### "Dialpad is a perfect solution for any business "

January 26, 2021

5.0

We subscribed to Dialpad when we moved office suites. And it immediately became a very productive tool. I had to travel for business and the mobility was very useful. I had all my call history, my notes, all at my fingertips. And when I received a call in the office, and it was too loud, I simply clicked on my cell and continued the conversation while walk. And the biggest advantage to productivity came when Covid-19 hit, because all the staff are working from home, still using the same numbers, the same process and the same way as if we are in the office. The common INBOX makes everyone aware of everyone else's communications, and the private phone numbers keep sensitive work separate. It has kept us going in these difficult times. And the one thing I really like the most? I can be anywhere in Europe and my NYC number will ring when someone calls.

Pros

What we like most about this product is that it is intuitive and versatile. We ported out two business numbers, and we also received each our own cell number which is great to use for business. We can use it on the road, at the office and while traveling, so its perfect, we never miss a call. And by setting up groups we can put one phone on "do not disturb" and still have others answer, plus we can roll over to our personal phones. We have it running in our workstations and smartphones and it is so easy to answer in one and continue the conversation, seamlessly, in another simply by clicking a button. I usually answer through my laptop and if I need to walk away, I can simply just switch to my mobile in real-time. And I can text while I am speaking to a person, multi-task, or simply click a number and dial through it and then make a note on the screen. It remembers everything we do! This system's sound is crystal clear and it simplified our business. The support is also worth noting, they respond quickly and have resolved every single inquiry successfully and efficiently.

Cons

I think some of the options should be included in every solution, for example, the dictionary. Other than that I cannot find anything I dislike.
