The greatest benefits that we see is the lack of needing hardware in our office while still being able to use a very robust system enabling us to transfer calls, have an auto attendant, hold music, etc.

Pros

Dialpad provides a great platform for our business phone needs. The software can be used on our cell phones, computers, and on desk phones as well which we find extremely helpful.

Cons

The only issue we have is when our internet gets spotty, we drop calls.

We recently switched from another platform to Dialpad and so far have had a great experience. The interfaces are very beautifully designed. The texting feature is convenient. And the iPhone app is easy to use and integrates well. The only downside I have seen so far is that disconnected phone numbers will ring for a while, and also sometimes the iPhone app can be a little spotty. (i.e. a call to your number won't ring your phone, only your desktop. Or if you're on a phone call with one number and someone else calls, sometimes it won't let you change to the other one) To be honest these things don't bother me that much because the Pros of Dialpad far outweigh the Cons.

Support is terrible, options are terrible and extremely costly compared to the alternatives. No refunds, couldn't even downgrade my account without paying.

Cons

Everything is extra. What they advertise is misleading.

Dialpad has enabled teams across the entire organization to connect easily without moving by making phone calls from anywhere.

Dialpad has a lot of features which I don't use since I am not familiar to them as they're hectic to configure

I've been using dialpad for 4-5 months. It's a great piece of software with tons of potential. However a few small easy to implement features (I'd imagine) are missing -No personal extensions -VoIP / iOS calling like Facebook messenger calls - have to finagle notifications to alerts for dialpad and have it forward call to your phone as your office line so that a) you can tell it's a work call and b) who's calling -the contacts functionally in dialpad is a disaster - I remove a phone number for a user and he user, is expect to not be billed for that user -SMS/mms was broken, got a support run around then they fixed it - seems the company forgot about the on the go small business user since the SoftBank deal and investment seed that was pretty impressive Calls are clear. The software itself is impressive. Both desktop and mobile. When dialing out from your contacts you aren't given the option to choose the number. Only when making a call with the new call button - so make sure your default settings are set. I do believe within the next year or two this will be the best phone solution there is. Just some work to do between now and then

Helping direct calls to the right department.

Pros

Dialpad is very easy to deploy on new users and is easy for my users to pick up. Now with the entire company being WFH, the push to cellphone feature is very handy to ensure I don't miss any calls.

Cons

Sometimes the phone numbers in my area codes are not available and I have to wait a few days for one in my area code to be available, but that isn't Dialpad's problem.

Use on a daily basis and it is great! Great way to have 2 phones which out actually having two!

Pros

I love having something on my phone that isn't my actual phone number to give to my clients. Also great to set the "Do not Disturb" during meetings and not have my phone going off.

Cons

Some times it doesn't connect well to my headset and I have to go into their settings to test my mic a lot.

Pros

Easy to learn, use and their helpline/chat is impeccable!!! Our account manager answers any issues/questions we have right away.

Cons

Adding users for a better, less in price. We have temp workers during the summer but a bit much to add them for only 3-4 months.

Reason for choosing Dialpad

This system has a fabulous integrations with google products. I also love that it is completely cloud based.

Cons

Although very rare, there were a few times where lag was experienced. Though I'm just nitpicking as it's not something that was experienced often.

I find DialPad quite handy for reaching out to people in the company either by voice, or text. The interface is simple and the notifications (in OS X) make it so I don't miss messages. The support staff I have worked with are friendly and helpful - this is critical - management wants this stuff to just work, and the support staff makes it all come together. The reason I gave almost no 5\*'s... DailPad won't quit. No literally, it's insistence on staying running is my only problem with it. Other than that, All good.

EASY, Good support.

Cons

When I tell an application to quit, I don't want any back talk, dialogs, or confirmation buttons!

By far the favorite is Uber Conference. We use that all the time for conference calls and screen sharing presentations and meetings.

Cons

Quality on VoIP can vary from use to use. At times it's a local connectivity issue, others its with the service itself.

We have found this to be a reliable phone service alternative to Vonage that we previously used. The price is right, the functionality is good, and we are pleased with the service.

Pros

Our team finds the chat function especially useful, as well as the ability to add callers to each existing call quickly and easily. Also the transcribe feature is very helpful.

Cons

Sometimes there is a lag that causes a delay in my words to be heard on the other end so conversations can be difficult, but it doesn't happen all the time.

The benefits are amazing - each phone call is automatically transcribed which is pretty good. Allows you to block callers that are a general nuisance. Nowadays there are a lot of spam calls using a dialer and when you answer there is no one there.

It seemed fairly easy to implement and probably good for very small companies looking for a simple call app.

Not very robust and offers very limited features. It is crazy how caller id and common features are not included.
