Pros I spent dozens of hours researching and evaluating vacation systems and finaly settled on LeaveDates, and I was not disappointed. I did not need an all-in-one HR system, all I needed was a way to track vacation and sick days that was more efficient than spreadsheets but still had all the bells-and-whistles one would expect. LeaveDates hit the mark! Cons Simple thing but would love it if the calendars had the option to start the week on Sunday. Employees love it and it cost very little. I have used other software and Leave dates deliver the same quality for like 30% of of the price of the cheapest I have used in the past. Cons I would like it to be able to switch employees from one account to another. I have leaves dates for 5 companies and when I move one employee, I need delete and create another account from scratch. It would be great to see a complete employee profile and a letter request module added in the future. That would really turn this into a complete HR management solution. Easy to use, makes managing peoples leave as straight forward as you could wish. Great product. Pros The ease of use is really helpful in managing peoples leave efficiently. The request and approval process is really straight forward and visible for all users. Cons This is difficult to answer actually, I'd say if 2 consecutive weeks were requested, it needed to be done as two requests for our business as it would include Saturdays as a days leave, as we do sometimes work them, but not always. January 10, 2026 5.0 My experience can be summed up in one word it's Clarity. We no longer guess who is in the office or struggle with manual calculations. It has matured our Staff Management and allowed us to focus on our work rather than our calendars. Pros Zero Learning Curve. All new software comes with a week of training. but not this one. The UI is clean, modern, and "less-click" oriented. Cons I observed a session issue: if the app is left logged in overnight, the UI becomes completely unresponsive the following day. A hard refresh is required to force the app to route back to the login page.
