We moved from a competitor and the transition was smooth and well worth it. The platform is reliable, easy to use, and has simplified leave management across the business. Both managers and employees genuinely like using it, which says a lot. It’s rare to introduce a new system and have such universal buy-in, but Leave Dates has delivered on all fronts. Pros The UI is exceptionally clean and intuitive. Both employees and managers picked it up immediately with no training required. The user experience is modern, straightforward, and makes booking and approving leave effortless. Pros I spent dozens of hours researching and evaluating vacation systems and finaly settled on LeaveDates, and I was not disappointed. I did not need an all-in-one HR system, all I needed was a way to track vacation and sick days that was more efficient than spreadsheets but still had all the bells-and-whistles one would expect. LeaveDates hit the mark! Cons Simple thing but would love it if the calendars had the option to start the week on Sunday. Employees love it and it cost very little. I have used other software and Leave dates deliver the same quality for like 30% of of the price of the cheapest I have used in the past. Cons I would like it to be able to switch employees from one account to another. I have leaves dates for 5 companies and when I move one employee, I need delete and create another account from scratch. Pros Leave Dates is easy of use and not overcomplicated at all, making it clear when both I and my coworkers are WFH / on annual leave Cons Not anything I can think of - if anything I would perhaps prefer it to default to one day rather than a half when I book leave but thats no big deal. Pros That we can keep track of all our staff members in one place. The calendar can be looked at as a whole, we can colour code leave types Cons That all day lengths are the same.
