### "EAsy to use by staff and admin"

It's allowed us to take control of our leave, and gives a visible calendar for each relevant department to plan leave. Support when needed has usually been same day and efficiently resolved.

Pros

Easy to use, staff can't lose physical leave cards, and it's impossible for them to retrospectively cancel leave. Also good to be able to tailor to departments and ad own 'leave types' including for long service, etc etc.

Cons

Inability to change email addresses when a staff member needs to- this needs to be done by Leave Dates

Overall experience is good. Also in comparison with few other products of the same type.

Pros

"Easy of use" is the most important characteristics of Leave Dates. Variety of features would be of limited use if hidden behind a cascade of menu options. This is not the case.

Cons

One problem was quite evident - if you enter your absence during the time in the past (can happen, if you back fill your time later), you can not edit it anymore - for instance, you can not move it to another day of you by mistake recorded your time under a wrong date. In my opinion this is a bug and should be corrected.

Pros

Convenient calendar view. Simplicity to put your vacations and absence time.

Cons

I don't have any cons, but, I am minimally using Leave Dates to manage vacations and absence time and I like that feature.

Easy to set up, use, add and remove staff. Good for managing leave and helpful features like the option to automatically carry over days

Cons

I dont really have any complaints, as a user it does everything I need it to do

### "A business must have"

I have never had any issues with leave dates, it is easy to use, easy to set new employees up and we can make changes when needed from the back office. A feature that has been great for us is making separate teams of our divisions, this allows us to see more easily who is off from which team and where any short falls are. Leave dates is great, we couldn't be without it. I have worked at places before where they used pen and paper for tracking leave! This seems so ancient when there are systems like this.

Pros

The user-friendliness of leave dates is fantastic. The user, at a glance is able to see how much leave they have used/booked/taken. They can also see their teams which means they are not overlapping leave at important times of the year to us. The app is also great, employees can have this on their personal phones and can book leave from home, without needing their work laptop.

Cons

NA - I don't have any negative feedback for leave dates - it is a great product.

We have used other leave systems in the past and switched to leavedates at the end of last year. This system covers all the functionality of the others we have used and more especially with the mobile app at an even better price

Pros

We have used other leave systems in the past but this covers all the functionality of these and more at an even better price

Cons

If administrators/managers could log sickness via the app for others this would be an advantage, by no means a deal breaker ut just another service to help functionality

### "Does What it Says on the Tin!"

It does everything you need it to in a simple and direct way. Requires basically no training so my colleagues and I managed to start using to book holiday immediately, and you always know when it's been approved. It also displays birthdays and work anniversaries, which is a nice touch and make's it easy to avoid the mistake of forgetting a colleague's birthday.

Pros

It has a very simple and intuitive UI, it's easy to navigate and find where you want to go. It's not the most complex system, but it allows you to book leave, see everyone's planned absences so you can coordinate, and track sick days.

Cons

The tutorial/tour notification keeps popping up every time I login. Not really in issue, but slightly irritating. Doesn't detract from the overall experience though.

Value for money, easy and simple but looks professional. The app is handy too.

Pros

The wall chart is excellent for looking at the office as a whole. It helps to pro-rata holiday entitlements. Very easy and simple to use

Cons

There not being a 2 tier approval for holidays. In the past we had a system whereby the line manager gave their approval and then the office manager looked at the office as a whole so that there wasn't too many people off at the same time.

Leave dates is very easy to setup and use both as an employer and employer. We are a small Company and we found other programs/apps we looked at were too complicated for us

Overall, a really easy, user-friendly system which reduces the admin burden of sorting annual leave

Pros

Leave Dates makes it really easy as a team leader to know who is in the office and when, and to minimise the time and admin cost of figuring out everybody's leave allowances etc. Equally, as somebody being managed, it makes it much more straightforward to request leave and to track my own annual leave

Cons

Logging Time of in Lieu is not entirely obvious!

Leave Dates does exactly what it's namesake says. It's a lightweight and easy to use platform to help track my team's leave, and show their availability to all members.

Cons

It might be a bit too lightweight in terms of appearance - it would be nice to customise my preferred screens and views, but it has the core of everything I need and want.

### "A Fantastic Piece of Kit"

Leave Dates has revolutionised the way we that we do our HR. Before, everything was tracked with bits of paper and spreadsheets. It wasn't as transparent as I wanted for employees. Leave Dates has brought in transparency for me, department managers and members of staff, collating information into one clean place .

Pros

For me, the best thing about Leave Dates is how easy it has been to set up and port all of my current information over. The clear user interface is so easy to use, even for staff who are less technologically minded and it's brilliant that it has an app.

Cons

I'd like it if there was a way of setting up 2 stage approval for leave, for example, an employee could request leave if approved by their manager it would come to me for final sign-off.
