I think its a great product. I use Vauto and the have the same type product but I don't switch.

Pros

Easy to get new staff on it and the txt notifications

Cons

When approving line items on the new version there are too many clicks to move the unit to the next bucket. There were less in the last version.

Very easy to manage inventory at multiple points in a reconditioning process

Pros

Very easy to see and update notes--easy to move vehicles between buckets.

Cons

The functionality differences between desktop and mobile are not debilitating, but different enough that it takes some getting used to.

Cons

After a year of use I have not found a "CON" in our use.

Accountability and communication is crucial in the reconsideration of vehicles and RR does a great job in these tow areas.

Cons

It would be nice to integrate RR with our DMS system. It would be nice to use universal QR codes. We would like a built in inspection app.

i like the breakdown for services but not keen on the need for every department to have to be in the program.... detail seems a little redundant

Cons

in our case vehicles are entered too early, i think they only need to be in RR once they are physically on the lot

Have been a user of Rapid Recon at current and previous store, has made both fixed and variable depts. more profitable. Know at all times where you units are in reconditioning process.

Pros

Ease of use and being able to track units in recon. This product eliminates the bottle necks in recon and reduces our time to lot.

Cons

Software is user friendly and haven't had any problems.

Saves a bunch of time, and been able to find vehicles more effectively, allowing me to be more efficient at work.

Pros

Being able to see what step of the process our used cars are at has saved me from pestering managers and spending time making calls to ask about vehicle availability

Cons

At the time, and I’m not sure if the feature is available, but I sometimes have to try two or three searches to find the vehicle I’m looking for.

Rapid Recon has given us the ability to have an "eyes always on" approach throughout the process. We have reduced our TTL by several days using the software.

Pros

The user interface is clean and easy to use. All of the critical information is at your fingertips to help move the cars along. Also sends text messages so that we know exactly where the car is in the process.

Cons

Wish there were a way to integrate directly with our DMS as service ROs and detail ROs close out. Would also be very helpful to bar code for the future.
