It is very helpful at keeping tabs on inventory and in what stages they are in. Being able to have all the information at you're finger tips on a particular unit and able to add all notes is fantastic. Cons The only draw back is instructing everyone to look at the information that is attached to a certain vehicle, so there is less questions asked ...being that the information can be entered in the program Review Source DJ Dawson J. We sell over 100 used cars every month and need to be able to see where cars are in the detail/recon process. Cons I wish there was an easier way to set custom inventory process's. Pros Able to find vehicles in the process and know how long they are in each step. Allows for staffing and process improvement. Cons None. I have no features I don't like and I'm not sure if it could be improved. Seamless operation and communications between staff members. The ability to add notes makes it easier for sales people to get an idea of where the vehicle is in process. Cons I have absolutely no complaints on my end. Pros Easy to write estimates for approval. able to give description of repairs needed. Cons Used to be able to send to used car manager for approval. Also could see if repair was approved. Lately the format changed and can't tell if sent to manager. No approved boxes checked off,only receive email to start work. Pros Easy to use and manage. The notes portion is very useful for communication at our dealership. Days in step also allows me to push through slower moving units and see what the hold up is. Cons The app can be a bit fussy to use. When changing steps for each vehicle, it's hard to tell where to click and there are what I feel are too many button presses to do so. Pros It is nice to be able to look and see where my inventory is just by typing in a stock number. Also, the text application is great. We get a text message when somone has a Sale Pending or is ready for our detail to pick up the unit. Cons The app is not quite as easy to use as the actual website for seeing notes. I like it far better than the other two big recon programs I've used in the past. Pros Rapid Recon is very easy to use thanks to its well designed interface and customization features. Service, parts, used vehicles, and recon can all see what is done, currently being worked on and upcoming. It allows us to move things through recon even swifter. I love that you can document everything, how easy it is to track everything. This system is great and compared to other systems I use, this one still wins me everytime. It’s so simple to use and helpful to keep track how many cars we have, the progress, even how long how long we have had it inventory and makes it a seamless process. Cons i think being able to have a messenger app with the techs almost like aim was (i’m old sorry) so that when a tech had a question or i do we don’t have to go searching for them or they have to search for me.
