The solution has great standard functionality which can be customized and tailored for your business. The team are flexible, work hard and challenge us to design better solutions for our customers. Pros We have worked with Coolshop on customizing their CoolSales platform to fit our exact needs - and it has been able to accomplish everything we have ask it to do. We had an existing CPQ tool that was made much more useful to our customers, and has had a much higher sales volume, once we started with Coolshop and their CoolSales platform. Cons A drawback that I can see with CoolSales for some people is that we have no controller over the software and have to rely on Coolshop to do all customization and work on it - this was known by us when entering the relationship with Coolshop and is not a problem for us though. We meet multiple times a week, to review progress, address issues, and discuss how the product is being utilized. By doing this, the needs of our customers are represented- and Coolshop's responsiveness has been very good. Perhaps the most enjoyable part of the collaboration is the "extra". Sometimes this means delivering a day early, sometimes it is delivering an additional feature for free, but in almost every case there is a little extra mixed in to enhance the working relationship. Pros To date, CoolSales has been extremely customizable. Whether it is custom help tools, or custom testing techniques, or custom shopping carts, CoolSales has proven to be a flexible tool to meet our needs. Cons Occasionally, we would like additional control (allowing us to customize things like custom help tools). While our requests are always accommodated, this additional control would allow us to work with Coolshop on the "next big thing" as opposed to some of the more menial tasks.
