We are standard or even small customer but nevertheless Sypher implemented some changes into their solution free of charge. August 8, 2022 5.0 Very good software that can help with the records of processing personal data in order to comply with the relevant data protection legislation. It's very helpful especially for updates to data processing, but also to other business units - e.g explaining customers what data you collect and what do you do with it. Pros Sypher is a very flexible personal data mapping tool that we use with our clients for personal data records of processing according to 30 GDPR. It is easy to import that records from earlier data mapping processes. It allows highly customized on-premise implementation. Also the support is fast and accessible and their openness for feedback to improve the products is great. Cons The product has many features (e.g. managing data subjects requests or asset management) that we don't use, either because the processes are managed by different team/applications or because GDPR implementation is a complex process for most of the companies. Also their implementation if you have activities as a data processor can be improved. Reason for choosing Sypher In almost all cases, our clients had their records of data processing either as in Excel sheets or they did not really start the mapping process. Process and activity mapping is a very useful tool, and so it is the Data Subject Request Manager. Another features I like very much is Cookie Consent Manager - very easy to implement on your website. Cons Maybe the process of reviewing items added by user could be shorten.
