I am using Python over 2 years and I am using Anaconda to write code with frameworks. It is handy and helps alot developers who programmes Python.

Pros

Anaconda is helpful for Pyhton programming and R programming, it is easy to install and use Anaconda for programming.

Cons

Anaconda has no bad feature at all, it works fine with Python alot.

My overall experience is very good as Anaconda is the option I choose while writing code

Pros

I like the interface of Anaconda as it is so minimalistic and all options can be understood easily especially for beginners. Also, I love the short-cuts at Anaconda as it saves a lot of my time. I like the ability to create a lot of environments and switch between them easily.

Cons

I don't like that there is no dark mode at Anaconda and that I have to call an external package to do so. Anaconda consumes a lot of RAMs and sometimes I face some lags.

Anaconda is a great software for python programming and I am impressed with the other scientific apps that come preinstalled in the IDE.

Pros

Package management/ installations and virtual environment creation are easier workarounds to get you started with python programming in Jupyter notebook.

Cons

I haven't encountered issues yet, it's good for now.

Pros

There are several programming tools available, and the library management system is quite robust, user-friendly, and intuitive. Release notes can be handled extremely nicely, and the community on this platform is really inviting.

Cons

As a result, I don't see anything wrong with an anaconda. Just that we are helpless when the kernal terminates, which happens from time to time.

Cons

Very positive. I would highly recommend this suite of programs for all data professionals to be familiar with.

Pros

I like that it takes care of everything for me, creating a whole workspace of Python tools for me to use. It is always one of the first things I download on a new computer and I find myself using its tools often.

Cons

I will admit that Anaconda comes loaded with a variety of Python programs and I don't use all of them. Jupyter notebooks are my favorite but that is mostly because that type of Python programming is best for my current role.

Pros

It supports a lot of data analysis tools. Managing multiple environments is very efficient for teams who works on different environments.

Cons

It's very slow on big tasks on low end computers. Performance adjustment is really required for users which use low end systems, especially lower RAM amounts.

I primarily used this for machine learning, general data analysis, and some mundane scripting (in tandem with Powershell depending on the situation).

Pros

Installation was easy, and the cost can't be beat. I really like the UI compared to other scripting or coding interfaces; it seems much more approachable. No issues encountered using pandas or numpy, and everything else also worked as expected. The standard installation includes not only support for python-based stuff, but also command line and powershell (for those windows users out there). You can also install R and PyCharm but I'm not sure if those incur some sort of licensing. Bottom line is it supports a ton of different functionality.

Cons

My machine is beefy, but I could understand how using local compute on a weaker machine could be frustrating. I also had to fuss a little bit with the references/included paths to find Python packages I wanted to use. Once I got it all figured out it was smooth sailing, though.

Pros

The interfase is great! You can adapt your screen as you like, and use more features than most of softwares, like python and r.

Cons

There is so much to learn about it that it take time to learn everything.

Running scripts essential for carrying out our payment processes - this involves a highly complex function that integrates data from Metabase. This is run through Jupyter Notebook within Anaconda.

Pros

It's really well-integrated with our Metabase data - I can run a highly complex Python script through Jupyter Notebook within Anaconda to acquire data that would otherwise be hugely time-consuming to collect. I also like how it's integrated with IBM Watson Cloud Studio for better data visualisation.

Cons

It can be really slow to open Anaconda, and initially I was very confused about the different applications integrated into it as it's not immediately obvious what the difference between some of them is (e.g. Jupyter lab v Jupyter notebook), with the explanations not being that clear. To be honest I still don't know why my script only runs through Jupyter Notebook within Anaconda - and there doesn't seem to be an easy way to find out?

Me ha encantado que con la fácil instalación de un solo software puedas tener en tu ordenador compiladores de python (Jupyter notebook, Spyder) y de R con todos sus paquetes instalados. No tienes que preocuparte de futuras instalaciones de librerías básicas y tienes todas las herramientas al alcance en un solo click.

Cons

Por ponerle una pega, diría que es un software muy pesado si no vas a emplear todas sus herramientas o eres un usuario avanzado.

I used anaconda distribution platform for python. I used spyder and jupyter for academic purpose and they are very good with their interfaces and help features

Pros

Some of the pros of this software are large number of applications you can use. It has good environment features and can create multiple custom features. You can have multiple versions of same application. It has large base of applications amounting to ten thousand

Cons

It is a bit difficult to use at the beginning. Once you go through tutiorials it gets easy to use the app. To use an app which isn't in the package like pycharm, it needs some time to get used to it

Anaconda is a free open-source software for developing python codes. The interface is much simpler to create and navigate between environments and easy to download new plugins and modules. One of the most advantages is its GUI because it's easy and more understandable than other competitive alternatives.

Cons

Some larger modules require a premium certificate to install. Most of the packages are meant for machine-learning tasks.
