Overall a great system that flows pretty well. Makes our job very smooth and hassle free ( most of the time )

Pros

Love how easy it is for work flow. Great platform for what we do in Underwriting. Client intake is a breeze with MA. Love that it stores client profiles.

Cons

Downfall in storing client profiles is that they are locked, so all debts and income are auto generated onto a new app and can’t be removed or edited.

Overall it has been positive with a few things I need to reach out to more experienced users for assistance with.

Pros

I am new to the credit analyst role and have found mortgage Automator quite easy to become accustomed to. It has an easy to follow methodology

Cons

I worry that when changing info on a borrower or guarantor for a new file that I may accidentally change something in the old one that is already a completed deal

I have had a positive overall experience. Great tool for our business, it certainly makes it easer to review and document information with the volumes we deal with.

Pros

We have been using the platform for over 5 years now. It has made my life so much easier, all items in one place. Beautiful upload portal for documents. The ultimate time management tool for our business.

Cons

The differences between what data enters the system from each of the different submission platforms used.

It was really been great for underwriting and has been a pretty seamless experience. It calculates TDS/GDS efficiently and allows us to have all of the information that we require in one spot.

Pros

We love how we have the ability to customize the platform to suit our needs. I also love how everything is separated (borrower profile, etc)

Cons

I don't like that the applications aren't locked and it keeps the client income on one file. This is annoying when you have multiple files for the clients. Also wish the notes section would support bullet points

Pros

Accessibility and common sense language for Private Lenders - easy to pickup and use. I've been able to integrate with everything ever since the Origination and Servicing API were launched - makes my life simpler.

Cons

Servicing can be complex to get used to. That said, I imagine its difficult for almost any system. I also wish there was more of an ability to set your defaults for things that never change (i.e. fees).

Mortgage Automator has become the backbone of our lending operations. It’s helped us scale while reducing errors, streamlining communication, and eliminating redundant manual work. We’ve seen tangible ROI from faster closings, improved investor reporting, and better compliance. The team continues to roll out features and improvements based on lender feedback, making the platform even more valuable over time.

Pros

Mortgage Automator has completely revolutionized how we operate. The level of automation, customization, and end-to-end integration is unmatched. From origination to servicing, the platform is intuitive and robust. The document generation tools, borrower portals, and CRM functionality have dramatically improved our efficiency and accuracy. Most importantly, their customer support is phenomenal – fast, knowledgeable, and eager to help.

Cons

There’s a learning curve during the initial implementation, especially if you're migrating from a patchwork of systems. Customization is powerful but requires thoughtful planning and time upfront. However, once configured, the payoff is massive. Take the time to learn the system.

Reasons for choosing Mortgage Automator

We chose Mortgage Automator over alternative platforms because it’s the only system that truly offers an end-to-end solution purpose-built for private lenders—not retrofitted from other industries. Most platforms we evaluated either focused too heavily on servicing (with clunky origination workflows) or were CRMs with limited post-close functionality. Mortgage Automator gave us the perfect balance of automation, customization, and usability. The document generation is seamless, the borrower and investor portals are professional and user-friendly, and the ability to track, fund, and service loans in one platform significantly reduced manual work and human error. Their team’s responsiveness and willingness to build features we needed sealed the deal. It didn’t just meet our needs—it helped redefine and streamline our internal processes.

Overall, Mortgage Automator has significantly improved our operational efficiency. The software is robust and reliable, with consistent support from the team. It’s particularly helpful for automating repetitive tasks and ensuring compliance. Despite some minor limitations, the benefits far outweigh the drawbacks.

Pros

User-friendly interface combined with great tech. It’s intuitive and saves time on day-to-day operations. The system is streamlined and helps automate workflows efficiently, making the loan process smooth and less prone to human error.

Cons

Occasional limitations with custom reporting and dashboard flexibility. While the core features are excellent, there’s room for improvement in customization options for lenders with more complex or niche workflows.
