I have procured and implemented many software platforms over the years, what stand's Mainteno out from the rest is not just is user ability, but the people behind it. From introduction, to inception to ongoing support, the TEAM behind Mainteno are second to none. In my experience, the software is only as good as the people behind it. It is here where Mainteno excels above all have known previously. As for the software itself, within 6 months of its use, we have already committed our long term future to the system, as we have recognised it huge value and potential to our business.

Pros

Very simple to navigate through, but with huge functionality. The ability to tailor to specific requirements and to be robust and responsive enough across a large volume of users, both in the office and remote working.

Cons

Presently no App version, but been told in progress. However, able to access via WWW.

The network now has a visible task defect?PPM system available for all our 67 warehouse locations and our 5 major hub facilities. Also our service/PPM contracts are now fully automated of which has proved to be a huge workload lifted in terms of man hours that would normally have been to be assigned to pre set individuals to email out as and when due and monitor, this in turn has also provided a legible audit trail of which can now be viewed from any location at any time - this is money saved for the group so the system quite literally pays it own way. Our relationship has gone from strength to strength with working with Mainteno, this in turn has also had a positive impact within our business. It has created 3 new admin positions and also allows us to monitor and engage with our contractors and suppliers on a minute by minute, hourly or daily basis. Mainteno has even created a new 'language' within our department due to our dependancy on the system. Even our engineering department has made the switch from Field Aware over to Mainteno!

Pros

Mainteno greatest strength is simplicity. A very easy to use platform, fantastic data presentation of which allows a task, to be logged and allocated in under a minute! With automated scheduled tasks, ability to produce your own checklist and asset management it really is a genuine business tool that is a 'must have' for any service related department.

Cons

With over a 1000 current users, this generates a lot of push notifications but the amazing Mainteno support team are constantly updating the system of which will negate this over time.

CAFM proved too labour intensive, very expensive, new user set up costs high, high cost of contract renewal. No admin rights for CAFM.

Reasons for choosing Mainteno

One off cost per month per location, no new user costs, fantastic tech support, elements of open development available, it does not even require any formal training to use the system as its so easy to use and is very self prompting, no additional server storage required and any associated costs. Overall Mainteno has simply been a great investment of which has allowed the business to be more proactive and organised and in turn has also challenged our own internal systems dramatically and has changed the way we work and think! Warning, implementing such a fantastic system will challenge everything about your existing methods of working and expenditure decisions.
