Running contests on Social Media is complex, but this software makes it easy. The viral marketing aspect is vital. Most important, the support is awesome. We receive quick, complete and accurate answers to our questions. Yes, we're delighted with the software, the support, and the marketing results. Cons This will not bother most users, but we wish some of the very advanced technical tracking features were also available in the low-cost subscription. It was easy to use and we did garner interest in our organization's products. Pros Easy to set up and use. We had very little trouble setting up and launching our campaign. Cons Beware of people abusing the referrals to cheat. The system does a pretty good job of disqualifying invalid entries, but it is still a good idea to review the entries before selecting a winner. One of our entrants had 20 times more entries than anyone else making the cheater easy to spot. First giveaway resulted in over 1000 entries and over 30% newsletter subscribers. I was hoping for more but from zero felt this was a decent result. I'm going to try using the software along with co-marketing and influencers and see if we can spread the net wider. Pros This was pretty easy to set up and I've had decent results. I'm planning to continue to use it and also try some of the features I haven't had a chance to try yet. My favourite thing is that along with ease of use, Viral Sweep has a guide to how to run a successful giveaway. I've also more recently read the guide to co-marketing and want to implement some of those strategies. I've just launched my business so have a long way to go. It's hard to no what results to expect when you have zero subscribers/followers, but I think I can continue to build on the gains made in our first 2 giveaways especially if I implement some of the other suggestions in the guide. Cons Can't think of anything I didn't like particularly. Small learning curve in the set-up but overall very intuitive and no problems yet. It's easy to navigate and integrate with applications we already use. My favorite part though is they answer my questions soooooo quick! That's actually what made me sign up when I first started using them a couple of years ago. I was comparing platforms and sent ViralSweep and a competitor an email asking questions about their platform and ViralSweep answered me back within minutes. I was able to go back and forth with them for about an hour and by the end, I didn't care to hear back from the other company. This incredible service continues. If I ask a question through "chat" within normal business hours I will have a response almost immediatly (sometimes even after hours!). They are incredible; better and cheaper than Gleam... Cons This is minor... but I wish when requesting to know someone's birthday for a sweepstakes entry you could just request month and year, not the date too. Pros A researched a lot of platforms and Viralsweep was the only one that really fulfilled my needs. It is easy to implement via wordpress or html (and JS) and it has the funcionalities that I needed (prices with odds and stocks, instant winning, etc). Cons I didn't like the price (I think is a little too much for what I used it) and the way to handle de data bases (I had to cross two different .csv to obtain the whole info of the participants).
