If you value efficiency (and your sanity), this one’s a no-brainer. Pros Acuity Scheduling makes booking appointments feel effortless—for me and for my clients. The automated reminders alone are lifesavers. I love how customizable everything is—from intake forms to availability settings—so it actually fits my workflow instead of forcing me to adjust to it. Payment integrations are smooth, the calendar sync works like a charm, and the client experience looks polished and professional. It’s basically like having a virtual assistant who never sleeps. Pros I love that I can easily create and manage custom calendar booking links for my different offers - free and paid. I am able to include all my onboarding documentation when a client signs up. I can take payments on booking without having to raise a separate invoice. Cons For a solopreneur, its a relatively high monthly fee compared to some other offerings, but they don't have the same level of functionality, so it evens out. Also for some inexplicable reason, it keeps disconnecting from my zoom - which is frustrating. Cons That it changed the email confirmation that goes to customers where you cant easily add it to your calendar. Now you have to download the appointment to add to your calender. Our patients reported ease with the ability to see all services and to book through the Acuity Scheduling platform. Cons The SOAP note capabilities was the only con that I can think of; being able to take thorough notes is crucial for us and the way notes are setup for sessions was a bit time consuming. It would be a waste of money for larger ones. Memberships were a headache. Learning it on your own is not fun. Pros Easy booking for clients, but the downside is that since clients don't have to create a log in, they will end up booking under multiple accounts using their different emails. Cons YOU ARE ON YOUR OWN. NO PHONE SUPPORT. Not ideal for larger companies who want to do subscription memberships, it's very limiting and messy. They only do POS with Square or Stripe which have super high CC processing fees. Pros What I like about Acuity Scheduling the most is that it integrates seemingly with other platforms that I use everyday, such as Google suite, and Outlook. it also allows me to create meeting links on Google Meets too which makes the integration so useful! I mainly use the tool to schedule calls and tech consultations with clients. Cons What I like least about Acuity Scheduling is that there is very little customization available. Customizations require CSS/HTML, which non-tech savy users may find inconvenient or difficult to implement changes with.
