The weekly schedule viewer simply cannot be compared to other platforms. It is also great to be able to have private notes that can be shared across the team on each booking. Cons It is pricey compared to other platforms, but dare I say it's worth it. Also, since Acuity was acquired recently, it makes you re-log into your account like every half hour and it is VERY annoying. This alone has decreased my satisfaction with Acuity significantly. Director, Digital Transformation Automotive Used the software for: 2+ years ### "Robust Scheduling Platform with Great Built In Integrations" December 16, 2025 4.0 Acuity filled the scheduling gap where we needed it. As we grew the business, it provided us with quick wins in standing up a new business model that required dynamic scheduling across multiple platforms including M365, Postgresql and Retool. It provided a high level of visibility into daily schedules. Pros Acuity Scheduling integrated well into the process and tools we were using. Combined with low-code/no-code platforms, Acuity was flexible enough to support a multi-user environment, requiring minimal administrative functions. Cons Integration and Configuration did take longer than we had expected, but once the processes were fully mapped and we understood the interactions between Acuity, Retool, Outlook and our Postgresql backend, it became very easy to manage. The only real issue that we ran into is the inability for an Admin to manage the actual configurations for the end-users. Acuity requires that the end user participate in the connection between Outlook and Acuity. It's not a horribly difficult process, but would have been much more streamline had the Acuity Admin been able to execute the entire process on his own. I like that i have different payment processing set up. Pros The ability to easily set up different appointment times and that it saves client information. Also stores all group class info. Cons That it changed the email confirmation that goes to customers where you cant easily add it to your calendar. Now you have to download the appointment to add to your calender. Our patients reported ease with the ability to see all services and to book through the Acuity Scheduling platform. Cons The SOAP note capabilities was the only con that I can think of; being able to take thorough notes is crucial for us and the way notes are setup for sessions was a bit time consuming. It would be a waste of money for larger ones. Memberships were a headache. Learning it on your own is not fun. Pros Easy booking for clients, but the downside is that since clients don't have to create a log in, they will end up booking under multiple accounts using their different emails. Cons YOU ARE ON YOUR OWN. NO PHONE SUPPORT. Not ideal for larger companies who want to do subscription memberships, it's very limiting and messy. They only do POS with Square or Stripe which have super high CC processing fees. Calendly now has that integration of course now, too, but at the time, I was manually sending the zoom link to my contacts and so I searched for a better tool and Acuity was it. Pros That they offer the 'add to google calendar' feature as opposed to (or in addition to??) the inconvenient .ics file. Cons The cost. I switched to another tool because Acuity was double the price with almost the same features. Acuity Scheduling provides us with tools for scheduling and managing appointments which help us streamline our scheduling operations and management of multiple loan clients. Acuity's automated appointment notifications and reminders enable us to stay ahead of all our scheduled meetings which prevent no-shows . Acuity sync with Google Calendar is a gamechanger that has helped us eliminate double bookings and scheduling conflicts by adjusting our availability accordingly. Acuity allow for customization of intake forms which help us gather necessary client information efficiently and personalize the customer experience.
