Pros As a Secretary in fast paced worked environment, I tend to forget appointments or have a mix up but Acuity helps me keep my schedule organised and reminds me through my google calendar of all my appointments. It is very user friendly and easy to use.In my view, it is a must have tool for all sorts of administrative needs. February 7, 2020 5.0 I used to spend so much time with back and forth discussions (either on the phone, by text or emails) with clients trying to find dates/times that worked for them...and me! The back and forth often led to me booking more clients per day than I really wanted to and would be tired the next day. This gives clients clear information as to when I am available (once I have set limits on my availability) and not only saves me time, but so much energy too! It's also GREAT that it links to my google calendar so my personal and professional life is all organized in one place and I don't have the panic of having double-booked myself! Pros The versatility and options for customizing my schedule is so helpful - everything from variable lengths of time for different types of appointments; different availability for different appointment types; setting time buffers before and after specific types of appointments; setting different locations for different types of appointments; offering clarity as to the price of the appointment (especially when they vary by type; and setting limits for the number of appointments per day and/or the amount of work time spent per day is just amazing! AND, putting all that online so my clients can schedule directly has saved me so much time and energy and has made it so easy to run that intake end of my practice. I am literally saving hours a week! Cons Nothing! It really has been a very helpful tool to organize my practice and keep my time focused on client work instead of scheduling conversations... By using Acuity, the individual can just click my link and schedule a time that is good for them based on my availability. Pros The feature most impactful is being able to include the link in my email signature and website so that others can easily click the link to schedule an appointment with me instead of us going back and forth about a good meeting time. The software is easy to use. I also like that the Zoom link is included within the notification. Cons A feature that could be improved is the client's ability to edit the meeting title when scheduling their appointment. The titles are generic and does not really describe what the meeting is about. Pros had a lot of well thought out features, pretty easy to navigate Cons I mostly sell packages of sessions - unless my clients had a hard time figuring out how to book the sessions unless they signed up for an account, which most of them did not want to do. I had to manually add sessions for them which took a lot of my time and attention. When I manually added the session, it did not export the client's address to my calendar which is a huge problem for me as I go to the client's home. Lastly, my clients could not go into my calendar to see my availability unless they bought a package which turned some potential clients off. Cons Payment features are very limited. I use CPACharge for merchant processing but it does not integrate with Acuity. I am not the most organised person naturally, and also find it exhausting doing all the one on oner scheduling and the endless phone calls. Acuity takes all that out of the occasion and immediately informs me on my phone if there is a booking. It integrates with so many other progrannes that i need to use to run a successful business. I am fairly new to Acuity, but after researching Acuity it is a must have for me. I am totally excited about how much time I can save and love the professionalism and seamless user experience for the client Pros I have recently started using Click Funnels to help market my photography. I also have another business as a Life Coach, so I needed something powerful and user friendly for me to manage all the appointments. I had originally trialled Calendly, but felt frustrated by some of its limitations. I also just finished rebranding on a premium Wix website and love the way you can seamlessly embed Acuity into my site. Once you have it set up, you are then able to enjoy some fantastic time saving features where there's no toing and froing with clients on the phone and many other automations that are huge timers. I absolutely love the way Acuity works with you to help an emerging business block out periods of time as you build up your clientele. This makes you look busier than you are and prospective clients think you are busy and in demand. Cons Initially it was a bit of a learning curve for me to set up, but it starts to make sense quite quickly. I had a fairly detailed set up, including all my different services and also making sure i embedded my terms and conditions that had to be ticked off before booking. It is also reasonably priced for what it offers, but annoyingly our Australian dollar is so weak at the moment that i couldn't pay a year in advance and save. Pros I've finally found a booking and membership software platform that I can integrate into my website without the added stress of classes disappearing from the schedule or memberships being cancelled without so much as an email from the software provider. I can create group classes, events, private sessions while offering my students the choice of memberships, class passes, gift vouchers as well as discount codes. It's everything I've been looking for. It's a little more complicated to get started but once you get started it's easy. I also needed to collect information from the person scheduling appointments. This is the only calendar system I've found with that option. And it is more cost effective than the other tools. Pros This scheduler has the most robust features. It was designed for a Therapeutic Message Practice but it works great for a professional business with many requirements for a smooth calendaring system. Their customer service is superb and the people are fun too. Thank you for creating a great tool. Cons I would like the option to send a link to reschedule to my customer even after the appointment date has past. Currently, we have to contact them and schedule it manually or ask them to create a new appointment. I think the reschedule page would create more continuity and improve the reschedule rate. It was simple and easy for me to use as well as my clients. It helped me to be more organized and saved so much time on both ends when it came to scheduling. I work with my hands so communicating throughout the day is not something that's always possible. Not to mention I was able to customize my own link that potential clients could click that would take them right to my scheduling page. Honestly that was the best part because I could put that link anywhere! Pros What I liked most about Acuity was the ability to customize almost every aspect of it. I'm in the beauty field and for me, the details are super important. I'm also a simple girl as well. I was able to make my setup simple and easy to use, but also with some pizzazz (if you know what I mean). Adding pictures, using different colors and different fonts really allowed me to customize my scheduling page exactly how I wanted. Cons What I liked least about Acuity honestly was the calendar display on my mobile device. It only showed appointments by the day and not a glance into the entire week or month, which is vital for me. I'm not quite sure if i just never figured out how to change it or it's just not a feature. Switched from [Square Appointments](https://www.capterra.com/p/170263/Square-Appointments/) I switched because Square did not offer half of what Acuity did. It was very bland to me. I'm not bland and neither is my company so I didn't want my scheduling page to reflect it. Acuity offers more customization so your scheduling page looks like no one else's. For my business the time needs to be predetermined via email since every client has different needs/design ideas. So once that's all sorted I can just send them over a link and badabingbadabooom. Cons I couldn't figure out a way to make an online consultation form without them having to choose a date on the calendar. Since that's super confusing, I decided to go with a different form company for online consultation forms. The downside to that, you can't import custom forms from other companies into this system to streamline all the jazz. This makes it easy to insert and integrate with any other SquareSpace systems you are using. The customer support is also excellent, with low wait times and knowledgable staff available to talk to. Cons This software was difficult to set up to integrate with our CRM and Outlook calendars. This is because of the nature of needing to sync multiple calendars at the same time, and I suspect that other scheduling apps might have run into the same issue. As it is, we still do not have the program set up correctly, as it will take a dedicated several hours, by someone who knows each of your systems inside and out.
