I've already recommended it to two other people, both of whom now use Acuity. Pros Acuity Scheduling is completely intuitive. It takes a few minute to figure out and then it works. No ifs, buts, or maybes. It just does what it says it does. And I really appreciate that! Cons The features in the basic package suddenly weren't available without a fairly significant investment. November 17, 2022 5.0 Pros The real-time visibility of when I am free for possible appointments is fantastic. Students can easily see when I am off-class and in-office and make their own appointments without sending me unnecessary mails and phone calls. It has made life simpler as I do not have to check my calendar every time someone gives me a call. Cons I think my privacy is somewhat exposed as students can always keep a track of what I am up to and how many hours in a week I am free or occupied. It makes me conscious! So far the experience has been great- very easy to get up and running (I started out with the Emerging Entrepreneur Package), and great integration with forms and customisation for my business. The one thing that I would like to see implemented in the future is having the appointment slots available (even if not yet booked) show up on my synced non-Acuity calendars, just to have eyes on them. I did submit this as a request couple of weeks ago, so we'll see what happens! Aside from that, very satisfactory user experience so far and have continued to recommend to other colleagues. It is feature rich, customisable, and looks very professional. It has made managing my online calendar and appointment bookings so simple for me and my clients and I could not run my business without it! Cons There is very little I dislike about Acuity. I found the user interface to be easier to navigate with the other scheduling apps I tried. Pros I officially launched my business this past month, I sent out an email campaign to my list that included a booking link so clients could pick their preferred time and date, even if it was a face-to-face or zoom call. I blocked off times and days I was unavailable and it off we went. All of my clients have begun booking their appointments and I've had zero complaints about usability. It made everything seamless and easy. I love that I have the iPhone app and the website to work from. Cons It's not really aesthetically pleasing. It would be better if the client's details were included in the header/subject line of the booking. I can't add a Zoom meeting link directly into that type of booking option, and that would save time and emails. Reason for choosing Acuity Scheduling It didn't have all the features I wanted. The Calendar is set up great and we have no confusion with appointment viewing and reminders. We recommend Acuity to any business we know. This is a great company! April 12, 2018 4.0 Pros Acuity works dynamically with your existing personal and/or business calendaring tool (i.e. Google Calendar) to show availability and helps you and your staff focus on selling and service. Acuity does not charge per user. Additionally, you are able to send both email and text reminders to your staff and clients. Cons Although this is probably the BEST scheduling tool out there, it does require a lot of customization based on your specific business needs. For example, I am a tutor and I had to add additional fields to account for the information that I needed. Additionally, I found myself entering data in both acuity and BaseCRM. Pros I love all the features it offers and the polished look. I like that you can have categories to make things look cleaner, as well as change the colors to customize! There are many features I love such as packages, ability to add tipping when booking, private booking links and son on! And it is pretty easy to use so far. Customer service has been great so far as well. Not perfect but the best booking site I have ever used. Intake forms and notes options are amazing bonuses! Cons Could be a little easier to add services (like a + button or something) and you should be able to transfer them if you're using another website! I didn't like the scheduling (how it looked on my end) it was complicated to switch times and services if clients made mistake, etc. This seems easier to use. Pros As a professional writer, I pay attention to HOW a company communicates, and I very much liked the informal and fun way the company speaks to their users. The software seems to have all the major needs checked and is very easy to integrate into WordPress. Cons I think their back-end interface (where the paying user operates) is not the most sophisticated or polished. Also, I don't think they integrate closely with a lot of CRMs, though they do integrate with Salesforce (many small businesses cannot afford Salesforce or do not find it the best choice for their needs). Everyone here is delighted with it, the clients also say it is easier to schedule the meetings now than before using it. Great job. Pros I really appreciate the many things you can do with this software. It really helps you to properly manage your schedule in a way far more easier than any other software. Being able to share your schedule with other people is a good point too. Moreover, you can link appointments with contacts and mails, etc. so if you are checking the schedule and want to contact with the person with whom you may have a meeting you have their contact information already there. It makes everything also more easier for the clients and other people who uses the schedule. Cons The price could be lower.
