I am launching my website soon and acuity will be integrated in my website as a scheduler. Pros What I like most of this feature is that they have a free service & seems to be mobile friendly. Cons I am still trying to look around and try to maneuver the system, but it seems like i had troubles saving hours and schedule when I was trying to edit it. I am not sure if it’s because i have the free version, but i do hope that they will make it easy even for a free version. Sometimes my clients wouldn't remember the time properly, or I would forget to write it down. Now the appointment times are clear, and there is no way for us to forget or get the timing confused. Pros I like that it sends my clients and me an email once I book them in, so I can add it to my calendar directly from the email. I also like that there is a mobile app. It also has a lot of customizable features for businesses, but even if you have the free version there is a lot of useful tools. Cons It was a little difficult to use at first because I couldn't figure out where to customize certain parts of the booking page. The tutorials were helpful though, and the more I used it the more I became used to it. Reason for choosing Acuity Scheduling First product I tried and I don't see any reason to switch over. Pros I like that you can send a specific link to a client for a specific type of appointment. In the free version they otherwise have to choose which type of appointment first and that can be confusing. Cons The left sidebar isn't intuitive to me. When I want to change my availability, I keep clicking the first item "appointments" . Then, it's obviously not the second item, "client's scheduling page". So I click on "Business Settings" and figure it out. Every single time. I think I'd like it better if the first item was "Availability & Biz Settings", then "Scheduled Appoinments", then "Client's View Settings". I am recruiting for my company and correspond with candidates often. From the moment I started using Acuity, it provided a great convenience for me. I sent out one email and instantly scheduled interviews with several candidates all at once. Acuity did all the background and leg work. I love it. Pros I love how I can easily schedule several interviews with candidates all with one move. Acuity is a great tool to help you organize your schedule. It is so much easier to setup than other scheduling programs. Pros Acuity is a wonderful online scheduling program. I can easily setup different meeting types and connect different calendars. Notifications for me and for the users are customizable and very easy to change. I love that I can setup custom intake forms for each meeting type, too. Cons I don't really have any cons for this program. I've used it for over a year now and I'm just thrilled with it. It's so easy to use and frees up so much of my time. Also love that it integrates with different platrforms - I have my Acuity calendar embedded in my Squarespace website which is awesome. You can also link Acuitiy to Instagram and people can schedule directly from a post! Pros Huge time saver - no more back and forth emails trying to find a time to meet. Once my services were set up it was easy to get a feel for the product and how it works. I really like that you can add a buffer or break between available times and also set up services with add ons. Cons I feel it can look a little clunky when going in. I did see you can play with fonts and colours so perhaps a little more work here in my part might improve this. Pros Easy to use, it's free and it has great UX for booking appointments for any industry. For my business which is primarily Remedial massage and personal training, I have had zero complaints from the client's booking through this system and it's really easy to use inline with my Squarespace site. Cons Took me a while to set up and get the scheduling functioning 100%, however, once it's personalized and set up, you can set and forget. Take payment; text, email, calendar reminders; give view only access to employees; duplicate appointment types; unique links; website embedding; integrations for days; awesome customer support; add images to event types; offer discounts and promos. seriously this is the most robust scheduling software that I have seen. I have recommended it to several similar businesses to mine Pros I run a private enclosed dog field in 30 and 60 minute slots which has proven difficult to work around on other softwares. I have 'add on' features and acuity allows for me to have add to basket type options for additional services, perfect! I also love how you can download and track your data so I can monitor who comes when and how often. I love that you can edit the email that goes out as I have special arrival instructions. I also love how you can have it on an app and see your calender on the go (i am based on a field). Great up to yet! I liked the control of communicating directly with my clients and taking care of all that myself. BUT I didn't realize until I did a trial with acuity how much time and energy that was costing me. How scattered I was and often how I would over or double book myself because I was juggling too much at once. SO WORTH the peace of mind!
