October 3, 2024 4.0 It's been an easy experience to get meetings scheduled and send out meeting links. I also love the hands-off approach I can take for adding meetings without manually doing so. Pros I enjoyed the simple UI of the application. For a user with little to no knowledge of a scheduling platform, it is extremely easy to navigate. Cons I do not like the fact that it stands out so much on the page. I feel the scheduler should feel cohesive with the website and not so much an external source. Pros Acuity Scheduling has a very lightweight and easy to learn user interface making the learning curve very short and smooth. It uses automation workflows which help find perfect scheduling time making scheduling very accurate. Acuity Scheduling integrates with third party products i use making it possible to use it for scheduling meetings on various conferencing products. Cons I have not had any disappointments with Acuity Scheduling. All features works greatly without any flaws. Nothing to like least honestly. It is a little advanced and requires some level of skill to customize it. Pros This is a great place to set up different services or classes that I offer. It gives the client an option to pay and I can set up payment plans. Cons It is kind of advanced. I wish I could choose from a menu of preselected services that might be offered in a coaching business or as an instructor. I felt like I had to build those things. I also wished it could send personalized emails once someone books a certain service. Its integration with my Square Space website was seamless and efficient, making it a convenient tool for managing appointments.There is also the possibility to integrate with many apps for branding and marketing like Mailchimp. Positive Aspects: Easy Integration: The integration with Square Space was a major plus. It simplified the appointment booking process for both me and my clients. User-Friendly Interface: The platform was intuitive and easy to navigate, making it a pleasure to use. Negative Aspect: Limited Payment Options: I was disappointed that I couldn't charge patients the full price upfront when booking an appointment. The deposit-only option was restrictive for my business needs. Suggestion: To enhance the platform, I would recommend adding the option to charge patients the full amount at the time of booking. This would provide more flexibility for businesses and potentially increase revenue. Overall, I found Acuity Scheduling to be a valuable tool for managing appointments. However, the limitation regarding full price payments is a significant drawback that should be addressed.
