Great for scheduling clients. " March 10, 2018 5.0 Pros The system does all of the work for me, so there's not a lot that my staff has to do. I even receive reminders of my scheduled meetings via email at least 24 hours prior to the meeting, which helps me since I'm always booked and busy. It helps me stay up to date with my schedule. Cons I love it! No complaints. I only wish that it was easier to manage from a mobile device. It's a bit hectic to login and view or make changes to the calendar from my mobile phone. I have had to ask for a refund over a dozen times since having my subscription. Pros When it worked, it was fine. My business has ben gone for over a year and a half and I still am being billed for something I am not using. Cons The software is not usable by my business, and I keep getting changed monthly for a program I am not even using. I cannot get in touch with ANYONE about this. Review Source LL Lisa L. Business Development Consumer Services Used the software for: Less than 6 months ### "Operation Procedures Change" October 6, 2020 5.0 The one thing I run into when starting with a new program or scheduling system is that everyone who uses the program likes to have things that make their work flow more functional. There were several changes that needed to take place in the first 3 months for everyone's workflow and the complete management of the client base. It was great. I would ask the admin if a function could make workflow more functional for our project managers and how I could work that function into my step and she would tell me, "We can make that automated in Acuity." Wow, ok. I like being able to make a change more functional and easier to complete my task in a shorter amount of time, and doing it all on one platform. Pros The automated emailing to the clients allows for a shorter task list. The no show of appointments went down by more the 75%. Cons I really don't have anything I have not liked about this program. Its ability to do everything I need for the position I am tasked to do, it just works for me. Review Source LP Leslie P. I can customize pretty much anything and I got this setup in less than a couple of hours and it went live on my website. Before I used the software, I didn’t realize how complicated scheduling could be and what I wasn’t thinking of. Luckily this already knew everything and pretty much automated a huge part of my business allowing me to focus more on my work and giving my customers a lot of control. Convenient for everyone involved! Pros It’s feature rich! I can block off times, set buffers, have it embedded and matching my website, and it integrates perfectly. I was dreading having to manage my scheduling before starting my business and this software took care of all of it allowing me to focus more on my business. Cons Language support. If your language is outside of the default options, you are still able to use your own language in some sections. But some things must be left in English. It's really like having your own scheduling assistant. Once you know you need to get together with someone, you can send them a link with your available. What could much a multiple-exchange communication is greatly simplified, saving time and potential frustration. While I don't currently use the payment features, it does have them. If people pay for your time, that can easily be configured. Even packages and gift certificates are available if you offer such. The highest tier subscription is HIPAA compliant, so it could be used in a medical setting. Acuity maintains a record of clients/contacts who have scheduled time with you, and there is a robust reporting feature allowing you to review past activity and revenue. The page that clients see for scheduling can also be embedded. The necessary code is prepared for you and ready to add to your site. For real ninja's who want Google Analytics or conversion tracking, that's available as well. I don't know much about that, but it is there. Setting availability is very easy. Direct entry of available hours couldn't be simpler. It understands shorthand such as 9a-12p, 1:30p-5p for a given day. Although if you set up calendar sync and regular weekly hours, you probably won't have to do much of that. Multiple integrations with other software are available. Accounting software like Xero, QuickBook and Freshbooks are available as well as several other email and business solutions. Just to name a few: Aweber, Constant Contact, MailChimp, Citrix GoToMeeting, SalesForce, Mad Mimi, and JoinMe. The automatic sync feature makes it much easier to avoid double-booking. Existing appointments on your calendar(s) are automatically made unavailable for booking. I also love that Acuity syncs with iCloud calendar as well as with Google. I use both, so that's a huge plus. Pros Automatic calendar sync with multiple calendars Multiple subscription tiers make it easy to select the features you need for the size of your business Abundant integrations with other software Easy setup Cons Of the scheduling software I've checked out, this is the best and smoothest so far. My clients can now easily schedule their appointments with me online and in real time. The set up was super easy and I appreciate how I am able to customize my times for each day and make changes to accommodate changes in my schedule with ease. Prior to this, I was emailing my clients back and forth to confirm times and spent countless hours on this. Now I have the link to my calendar posted right on my website and clients can just click in to book. Plus, with the ability to add forms to the appointments, I was able to add my Client Intake Form right to the booking, so eliminated one more hassle of emailing the form. It's all there in one easy place. Acuity scheduling has truly save me valuable time and money and has so many options to accommodate any type of business. Pros \- Flexibility in customizing my scheduler - Ability to add in client forms to complete prior to booking - Ability to personalize the scheduler and add in my logo - Ease of use (it seriously took me about 30 min to create my entire schedule) Cons \- The only drawback that I experienced was actually my own mistake. It's a little bit confusing at first, especially on the mobile app. However, once you play around with it you become a bit more clear on what's necessary. If you really want to take full advantage of this product you can not use the free option as it limits you to the mere basics. Cons I have seen what this product can do but have not yet invested in the option that would allow me to get more creative to deliver what would be ideal for me. Pros Acuity Scheduling has been an incredibly valuable platform to support my organization when it comes to scheduling calls. It's been amazing to be able to set up a landing page for clients to go to to and schedule/re-schedule on their own terms without my having to negotiate all of the moving pieces. The account page is fairly simple to navigate and set up, and I've found it to be a necessary and incredibly helpful element of building my business. Cons Once you give yourself the time to learn how to work the software, it's all there for you. My husband and I share the application, in this way we know how busy we are both. Pros I work in a transnational company and sometimes coordinating agendas between all of them is complicated. We have a program for this, but it does not give us all the options offered by Acuity Scheduling, for example, personalized emails to coordinate each appointment. The software allows my clients to schedule meetings at that leisure and syncs seamlessly with my Gmail calendar. No more going back in forth through email about what time works best for a meeting. I love getting the notification that a new meeting has been scheduled. Saves me time which makes me money! Pros As a single owner-operator I am always looking for ways to streamline my business and allow me to get more work done. Acuity not only allows my new and existing customers to schedule meetings with myself but also sends out reminders so they don't forget. The amount of new business meetings has increased as well as the number of people showing up on time and in the right place! Another example of software saving me time and effort. What more could I ask for. Cons The only negative I have with Acuity is their map feature does not accurate show where my business is located. It shows my business as being down the street from its actual location. Its the 1 feature on the form and follow up that I am not fully satisfied with.
