Tradesmen Pros We have 30k followers on Facebook, 50k on instagram, we are pushing on several other social platforms using automation. Having one booking software option across the field has saved us! Being in construction booking walkthroughs and meetings is tough with staff having to learn new/different software/apps. With Acuity it's all in one place and all syncs to their existing Google calendar. Saved me headaches and customers from heartache. Cons UI could probably do with updating for non tech savvy. The upside is they have built in walkthroughs and a great user help guide on their site. Reason for choosing Acuity Scheduling None offered multi platform integration as easy as Acuity. Followers on Instagram click 'book now' from our profile page, Google search provides a straightforward path for prospects to make a booking. Can't ask for more than that! You can adapt it to your workflow and give your customers a seamless brand experience. Cons Acuity is clunky. Many of the alternatives on the market offer quick and easy-to-use solutions, while Acuity takes longer to select a time. Another huge plus is that Acuity Scheduling has a very robust Zapier connection, so I am able to connect it to my ActiveCampaign with detailed information, as well as my Dubsado. Plus, Acuity Scheduling directly integrates with Instagram and Facebook, so it's really the best solution. Cons The way the calendar page looks is not my favorite feature. I prefer a simpler, more minimalist look. However, that's such a minor issue that it doesn't really pose a problem for me. Cons Even on the paid plan, the number of seats is limited if we want to empower a team to use it for scheduling purposes. We'd like to set up service packages which we found Acuity was one of the very few that allows it, but we didn't find a way for us to include more staff members - it gets very expensive if we do, which isn't sustainable for a small business. It was extremely helpful in scheduling vaccinations which we have never done before. Pros This product was easy to use. It was very customizable. It made it extremely easy for patients to schedule their appointments along with allowing our staff to review forms and prepare for the vaccinations ahead of time. I would highly recommend this product for scheduling. Cons There was no live support. I would say however that if I sent in a question or issue that it was resolved quickly. To me live support would be helpful in answering some questions quickly but I understand the online probably works better for acuity and the response time was very acceptable. Pros There are a lot of calendar scheduling tools out there, but Acuity has so many features and is pretty straightforward to use. I like that I'm able to have private links I can send for specific offerings that I don't want to be published on my bookings page, and the interface/dashboard makes finding information or changing information quick and painless. It saves a lot of time and provides a seamless, branded experience to my clients. It takes the head ache out of scheduling. Pros Picking a scheduler is a real headache, given that the market is full of different software. You run a real risk of analysis paralysis or grief after the scheduler you pick just doesn't work. What I like best about Acuity is that I had none of that hangover after deciding to make the switch. Acuity is easy, intuitive, handles time zones like it's nobody's business, integrates with everything I need it to integrate with, and the customization available lets me put my best foot forward. I use Acuity in my own business and I have walked clients through setting up an Acuity account on their own - it is easy to teach to others and is both intuitive as well as providing a lot of advanced features. Cons Mainly, that to get Acuity to automatically convert between time zones, you have to tick a box. Oh, I pulled my hair out about this at first - I knew Acuity could do it, and I don't understand for the life of me why this is not the default setting that you can untick if you want to freeze Acuity to a single timezone. In my experience with Acuity, this is the only thing I could think of that someone really should fix. Review Source Leah C. Whether you're just setting up a schedule for your own personal use, or using it to schedule clients, you just go through a few simple steps and you're calendar is complete. I love allowing clients to be able to choose what works best for them. I just set up a daily/weekly/monthly schedule with certain time slots, and then send links to my clients for them to choose the one that works for them. It makes everything easier for everyone! The ability to share my calendar, is also super helpful - so everyone is on the same page. There is even an App for your phone - which saves time when having to access it on your phone. Cons The only issue with Acuity Scheduling is that it may just offer too much. I would not be able to (and do not need to) use every feature available. Review Source Miguel S. I've spent most of my time setting things up for a new programs/services roll out and Acuity couldn't have made the process easier for me if they tried. I'm very much so into aesthetics and customization meshing well with functionality, and that's EXACTLY what Acuity has been for me. The walk-through was easy to follow and everything tied in with my other programs. Pros Flexibility. Acuity has more flexibility than many CRM tools. It's ready for integration with other programs, easy navigation and interface for both myself and my clients, customization, and very robust in terms of follow up interactions. I love that I'm able to create a customized homepage AND embed images ANYWHERE. Cons The only place I'm thinking may need to be simplified is the Availability Settings. I'd like to schedule specific types of availability that includes internal meeting time that is unavailable to clients, but visible as operational hours. That's it. Pros The most impactful feature to me is the clients abiltty to book their own appointments online via Facebook and Instagram... It is very easy to understand and my clients nearly ever call me for assistance... Not all integrations however were pleasing to me, I am still having minor issues integrating Acuity with Wave Accounting... I requested assistance/ help which was not very useful... I do hope that with this review I get the appropriate assistance... However, overall, I'm pleased with Acuity and would not give up using it... Pros The clients can create an account if they want to manage all their appointments and by this way manage their own appointments. So, I don´t have to waste time to schedule them, because they can do it by themselves. Also, the support service is very efficient, and the design is very clean and friendly for clients Cons I have no major issues to learn to use it, but the interface could be a little difficult to navigate at first, as the way to manage this software. Pros Hi, This software is better than other scheduling softwares I have used. The interface and clarity of email notifications is sharp and the functionality of the free version is excellent. No pop-ups or marketing nuisances, just a clear template for what you need to communicate to your clients fast. Modern and functional- it suits my startup very well. Cons I wish it was more functional and still free, though I would pay for it. I value the lack of ads. I haven't played with it enough to find any flaws, so far it works better than expected. I genuinely like the software and would recommend it to anyone starting out or even to bigger businesses since you can share everyone's calendars and merge them all. Your clients cannot schedule anything that's been blocked out and really helps to avoid double bookings (if you want) and snafus. I really like it. Pros What I liked MOST about the software is that when I asked my clients how easy it was they all said it was simple and very easy to use. The last thing I needed was something meant to make life easier but actually complicating it. It's a pro move. You clients can see your name, logo and get reminder emails and/or texts if you have that tier of the software as well. I have mine integrated with Zoom so it sends them the link as well. It's actually a great piece of software that will save me a lot of time once it's set up the way I like it. Cons I am still very new at using the software but have copied other templates that I have found to make my use of it easier. I have been using pen and paper for years to do scheduling and swore I would always do it. You'll definitely have to set aside some time to figure it out and play with what works and doesn't and what you think will work but doesn't on the user side but after it's customized and set up you can just let it run. Pros The ease of use was great. The team helped to import my client and service lists which was a huge help and saved time. Loved the coupon function which would allow us to put offers online for clients as and when. The interface was aesthetically pleasing and modern. Cons The system lacks the option to shorten appointment lengths therefore allowing us to compact treatments and fit other clients in. It also doesn't allow ourselves or clients to book multiple treatments at the same time. Huge drawback when trying to encourage clients to book more than one treatments per appointment.
