The weekly schedule viewer simply cannot be compared to other platforms. It is also great to be able to have private notes that can be shared across the team on each booking. Cons It is pricey compared to other platforms, but dare I say it's worth it. Also, since Acuity was acquired recently, it makes you re-log into your account like every half hour and it is VERY annoying. This alone has decreased my satisfaction with Acuity significantly. Director, Digital Transformation Automotive Used the software for: 2+ years ### "Robust Scheduling Platform with Great Built In Integrations" December 16, 2025 4.0 Acuity filled the scheduling gap where we needed it. As we grew the business, it provided us with quick wins in standing up a new business model that required dynamic scheduling across multiple platforms including M365, Postgresql and Retool. It provided a high level of visibility into daily schedules. Pros Acuity Scheduling integrated well into the process and tools we were using. Combined with low-code/no-code platforms, Acuity was flexible enough to support a multi-user environment, requiring minimal administrative functions. Cons Integration and Configuration did take longer than we had expected, but once the processes were fully mapped and we understood the interactions between Acuity, Retool, Outlook and our Postgresql backend, it became very easy to manage. The only real issue that we ran into is the inability for an Admin to manage the actual configurations for the end-users. Acuity requires that the end user participate in the connection between Outlook and Acuity. It's not a horribly difficult process, but would have been much more streamline had the Acuity Admin been able to execute the entire process on his own. Confirmation emails, reminders, follow-ups — all handled without us lifting a finger. Clients book directly from our availability, payments can be collected upfront, and intake forms are built right into the booking flow. It replaced three separate tools for us. Cons The interface feels dated compared to newer competitors. Customizing the booking page beyond the basics requires more effort than it should. Pros I love that I can easily create and manage custom calendar booking links for my different offers - free and paid. I am able to include all my onboarding documentation when a client signs up. I can take payments on booking without having to raise a separate invoice. Cons For a solopreneur, its a relatively high monthly fee compared to some other offerings, but they don't have the same level of functionality, so it evens out. Also for some inexplicable reason, it keeps disconnecting from my zoom - which is frustrating. Cons That it changed the email confirmation that goes to customers where you cant easily add it to your calendar. Now you have to download the appointment to add to your calender. Cons The SOAP note capabilities was the only con that I can think of; being able to take thorough notes is crucial for us and the way notes are setup for sessions was a bit time consuming. It would be a waste of money for larger ones. Memberships were a headache. Learning it on your own is not fun. Pros Easy booking for clients, but the downside is that since clients don't have to create a log in, they will end up booking under multiple accounts using their different emails. Cons YOU ARE ON YOUR OWN. NO PHONE SUPPORT. Not ideal for larger companies who want to do subscription memberships, it's very limiting and messy. They only do POS with Square or Stripe which have super high CC processing fees. I mainly use the tool to schedule calls and tech consultations with clients. Cons What I like least about Acuity Scheduling is that there is very little customization available. Customizations require CSS/HTML, which non-tech savy users may find inconvenient or difficult to implement changes with.
