They will not listen to customers. They will not make improvements to their system. They will not take suggestions for improvements. It’s very difficult to get a hold of customer service. It’s just a company that is just going to slowly go out of business. We use it to manage our business room meeting reservations and the whole system is very easy for our customers to use. The software has paid for itself over and over again! Pros We use Acuity Scheduling to reserve our meeting room space. Acuity has automated our booking and payment process so clients can book online without needing to work with a human. Payments are processed through Stripe and are deposited directly into our business bank account in a matter of days. Acuity has reminder email and SMS available to help eliminate no shows. Acuity also integrates with Google Calendar so you can quickly check for upcoming meetings on your phone. Cons I wish we didn't have to login to Stripe to issue refunds when meetings are cancelled. It would be nice if there were a front-end experience in Acuity. There are some limitations with add-ons. We sell pots of coffee as an add on, and there's no way for a customer to select how many pots of coffee they would like to purchase. Add ons are limited to checkboxes, no quantities. Cons Zero support, zero help videos, zero tutorials except for some basic beginner stuff on YouTube. I am fairly tech-knowledgeable, but going back and forth by email to a central email address about a specific issue is not only tedious but totally ineffective. Even at the higher levels, I cannot customize add-ons for events, such a birthday party - additional guests at a cost per guest. I also would like to have more access on the mobile, but it's very basic. For example, if I want to provide the direct scheduling link to someone say on Instagram quickly from my phone, I cannot. I need to log in through the desktop platform and get it that way. I feel like this software has some features that I don't need at all, and lacks many that I would like to have. I had used Calendly for several months at the prompting of a business mentor before switching to Acuity. I was having my calendar constantly reset with my times wide open for people to schedule. If I did not check it every morning I ran the risk of someone booking an appointment during a time that I was not available. This is not only embarrassing but very unprofessional! Squarespace has been quite fast in getting back to me with any problems or queries and mostly provide a video on how to address any problems with step by step instructions which is super helpful by last website provider would take over a week to get back to me and want to charge me each time even when it was their mistake so Squarespace/ Scheduling service makes me extremely happy I feel they are supporting me in my business and understand the urgency of having a to fix any problems. I'm able to add an embedded link on my website and convert customers immediately. They can book an appointment with us without having to go back and forth through text or phone calls. My assistant is able to book appointments or even send direct links to our appointments to our clients and the client will book and pay on the spot without having to go back and forth in an email. Pros I love that i'm able to make appointments with buffers before and after the appointment so our calendar will be properly scheduled to prevent rushed or back-to-back appointments. I also like that if you were to make add-ons to your service, that the add-ons can also have their own time adjustment so you have enough time at your appointment to properly serve your clients Cons i don't like that i can just make a quick event and send it in an email like calendly, but to be honest, that's only important for zoom and phone appointments to gather details from a client. It is really simple to actually have this product become more than just a supplemental or complementary program and become your main use for all things when it comes to scheduling and keeping client and customer data in one place. There are numerous pros to this application that a lot of other scheduling apps just don’t have. They definitely have taken the time and effort to make this user-friendly and that goes for customers and for clients alike. The mobile access is amazing and the self service scheduling portion makes it easy for every client to basically have control of their own business Cons I think some of the things that I would probably do is make it a little more new school and so looking so retro I mean that’s just my opinion but also I’m really big on customer service when it comes to programs in regards to this and sometimes there are some minor bugs or things that need to be fixed that sometimes can cause some errors Review Source KM Kristin M. It doesn't require an email exchange with me to do so which is nice. Another real game changer was the lack of administrative time spent on sending out reminders manually. I actually get to take the time I was spending on scheduling, rescheduling, and reminding and direct that energy to patient care. Cons The only minor drawback is that some patients have reported difficulties figuring out how to cancel or see their appointments. These complaints are usually from less tech-savvy folks. I created a standard email for how to save appointments to their calendar and how to log into Acuity to see appointments if you didn't. It cuts down a lot on questions.
