Acuity has helped me schedule my clients better and be more hands of so I can focus on more tedious day to day tasks! Pros I love how customizable the software is and how I was able to add in my logo and change the colors to fit into my company colors/brand theme! Cons I don't have any major complaints when it comes to the software. I chose the Emerging Entrepreneur package and I kind of $15/mth is a little pricey but i'm also factoring in all my other business expenses. It allows me to showcase my business very professionally while also allowing me to easily make updates and changes. The calendar integration really helps because I can sync it to my mobile calendar in allows me to fully operate my business on my smart phone. The fact that I can add coupons direct scheduling links and create packages really set it off especially for the price that it’s being charged. I love that it presents it in a calendar which is easier when it integrates my other calendars. It is great that it integrates with all my other platforms, Facebook, stripe, zoom, etc. Feedback from clients has also been great preferring the ease of this platform then another I have used. I also love the feature where it sends an email Sunday evening with your weeks appointments. I was able to set up & integrate most of my other business apps fairly easily. The calendar set up is easy & integrates into your existing calendars so you're not overbooked. Highly recommend! Pros All the ways I can share my booking page is very useful! Social media, buttons, even on IG. I also love how I can create a calendar with “booked spots” in the paid version. And I also enjoy having clients do a questionnaire before booking and being able to pay before booking too! When sourcing solutions for our specific purpose, the customer support was extremely open with what is doable with their software and they gave thorough answers on how to make it happen. Also, why this is the only solution for us at the moment, is the ability to customize. We had some specific needs in mind, which would be impossible without the possibility to customize, also since our main audience is not English speaking and multilingual. Cons There is always some thought work going in to making applications multilingual, it often includes some sort of work-around or integration with other softwares. Thanks to the customization possibility, one can change all the namings on the client side, but if you need it multilingual, the look is not "optimal". It would be great if the possibility to translate namings would somehow be possible in the future. But that being said, it can be done, not just looking "spot on", so to say. Pros \- It integrates seamlessly with my Squarespace website - Great value for money - cheaper than some scheduling software out there - Two way calendar sync - HUGE plus! - Very customisable Cons \- Hard initial set up. I found it to be confusing when I started out using it, see next point - Too many options cause choice paralysis. It's so customisable that it's hard to even know where to begin. - I am missing the option of selling printed gift certificates - It does not support Sum Up, the POS that I was using. It sends texts to your customers to remind them of their schedule appointment. Being able to customize the app so it can look like your website or make it your own. Cons The least thing that I like about the software is that the free version doesn't allow you to accept payments or deposits to your customer I feel that whether it's free or if I'm paying for it I should be able to take payments from my customers. And also I would hope in the future they give out promotion codes and discounts for the packages just to help save a little bit more money. But overall it's a great software . " April 21, 2016 5.0 Before making the decision to move forward with Acuity Scheduling, I tested a ton of other systems like TimeTrade, Calendly, You Can Book Me, and cVita. Here are the reasons I fell in love with Acuity and a couple of suggestions for improvement. Pros: The user interface is so intuitive, easy to interact with, and well organized The reminders during the setup process Fun messages if you need help, "Psst, up here to ask a question." If you do have a question, the support team responds quickly It fits every budget and offers so many features worth far more than what you pay It grows with your business from startup to profitable empire Love the intake forms! I was trying to piece this together with another form app. This saved me a ton of time! Accepting payments - enough said Cons: On the free account, customization is pretty limited, but the good news is the Emerging Entrepreneur plan is super affordable with a ton more features. Limited ability for a CRM functionality; however, you could integrate with my Zapier. I would love to see an integration with HubSpot CRM!!! These two apps would make magic together! Overall, I am extremely happy with Acuity Scheduling. I encourage anyone looking to give the free plan a try to see how you like it. I'm confident you won't be disappointed! I literally took 30 min and customized every aspect of Acuity to provide one of the prime offers for my business. Another 5 min and it was integrated into my website. Oh did I mention that I did this on phone?!?! All the features that Acuity offers are well worth the extra $ per month vs. Calendly. Calendly is also a great product, but the cleaner installation, and customization was with it to me. Cons Not a whole lot to say on the negative side... It took a little longer to setup​, but I did it on my phone while riding in a car (no I was not driving). Also a little more expensive than Calendly, but for my business, it's worth it.
