Ultimately, I opted of using it because the set up was not simple enough for the scenarios I needed for my business

Once it’s set up, it is very easy for customers to use. It’s possible to integrate into your own website.

Cons

When I was using it, there was no customer service to call if you were unsure of how to set up a specific if/then. I had to rely on other customers to figure things out.

Pros

Simplicity of use and clarity of purpose. This is by far one of the best scheduling tools out there!

Cons

Nothing in particular, maybe that it's been too american focused, but that isn't something too big of a problem

Pros

The automation. Confirmation emails, reminders, follow-ups — all handled without us lifting a finger. Clients book directly from our availability, payments can be collected upfront, and intake forms are built right into the booking flow. It replaced three separate tools for us.

Cons

The interface feels dated compared to newer competitors. Customizing the booking page beyond the basics requires more effort than it should. And if you have a more complex multi-staff setup, the logic around calendar management can get confusing quickly.

Acuity Scheduling has been very positive. It makes managing appointments easy, reduces no-shows with automated reminders, and saves me a lot of time, though some advanced features can take a little effort to set up

Pros

What I like most about Acuity Scheduling is how simple it makes booking and managing appointments. I love that clients can book themselves online, it automatically adjusts for time zones, and it sends reminders, which saves me so much time and reduces no-shows

Cons

What I liked least about Acuity Scheduling is that some of the more advanced features, like reporting or customizations, can be a bit tricky to set up. It sometimes feels a little limited unless you’re on the higher-tier plan.

It does make my life easier, but I just wish that they would add the option to select more than one service at a time

Pros

I like that you are able to track if the recipient of an email read the email. That way I know that emails I am sending out are being read.

Cons

I do not like that you can not book more than one service at a time. It makes it harder for me because I have to create a whole bunch of add on services or create new services.

I really valued the convenience of it being on my website and the integration with my calendar and squarespace.

Cons

Overall, my experience has been very positive. It streamlined my scheduling process and gave clients a smooth, self service booking experience.

Pros

You can set availability, buffers, intake forms, and automated reminders, which makes everything feel organized and professional. The automatic confirmations and reminder emails were especially helpful for reducing no shows.

Cons

The setup can feel a little confusing at first, especially when you’re configuring different appointment types or setting rules around availability. Some of the more advanced features are not immediately intuitive.

Overall, I have been very happy with Acuity, it has been a really helpful app in growing my coaching business.

Pros

I love that I can easily create and manage custom calendar booking links for my different offers - free and paid. I am able to include all my onboarding documentation when a client signs up. I can take payments on booking without having to raise a separate invoice.

Cons

For a solopreneur, its a relatively high monthly fee compared to some other offerings, but they don't have the same level of functionality, so it evens out. Also for some inexplicable reason, it keeps disconnecting from my zoom - which is frustrating.
