I can say that staff at every level were amazing to work with. Top notch staff and software.

Pros

That we were able to sit down and customize it to our specific client needs.

Cons

I feel with any software the biggest challenges were using/ or the learning cure until we became familiar with it. As we grew so fast we out ran server space or we had large lag time in between screens.

The system is generally easy to use, however, I do not think that it operates in the most effective manner. There are also issues with the program intermittently crashing for some users and then no resolution because the problem "cannot be duplicated" or is not reported by other users.

Pros

It is generally easy to learn and relearn the system. If you want to enter a service you delivered, you go to service delivery. Enter a UA under UA, etc.

Cons

Many times when there is an update it is often like re-learning the system and often times it feels like the updates make it harder for my employees to use

Great experience overall. I have been using this system since 2016 and have been pleased with it's evolution.

Pros

The support and usability of this product are nice. I can always get questions answered and I am familiar with it.

Cons

The automatic timeouts are sometimes frustrating. I do understand why, but it sometimes catches me by surprise.

Overall, my experience has been very positive. Community CareLink is a practical, efficient tool that helps me stay on top of my work and keep things organized. It simplifies processes that could otherwise become overwhelming. The support has also been consistent, and I feel confident relying on it for my daily operations.

Pros

The platform is organized, intuitive, and makes it easy to keep everything in one place. I especially appreciate how streamlined it is for tracking information without a lot of unnecessary steps—it saves time and keeps me in flow.

Cons

In all transparency I do not have any major negatives to point out. My experience has been smooth overall.

The quality of responsiveness and overall customer service is unmatched.

Pros

I like the ability to send referrals to different agencies and the availability of the staff when encountering issues.

Cons

Feels like it is often that we are needing to open several tabs to re-input the same information. Takes too long to load each screen and this adds hours of work to the staff.

### "Healing House"

Pros

A few staff were somewhat comfortable with this software due to Jackson County COMBAT was requiring the grantees of their funding to use theis software in billing. In 2017, when Healing House was required to use the software there was only 6 employees and only one employee used the software. In 2019, when Healing House purchased the software there was 32 employees and at least 6 employees were be using the CCL daily. The software is extremely user friendly and training was minimal. Currently, Healing House has 45 employees and 30 of these employees use CCL daily. It continues to meet all of Healing House needs and training on the system is mimimal allowing staff to spend more time working with each participant in the program.

Cons

It is difficult to think of anything we didn't like. Prior to Community CareLink we were using Excel Spreadsheets and using excel formula to retrive data. With each new implementation there were a few very minor "glich" that needed to be reprogrammed, but the incredible customer service we received and each "glich" was solved through contact with FirstCall and their liasons. We have had Community CareLink for over 2 years now and this software is still meeting all of our needs, even in this atmosphere of "panic", we have been able to pull data that gave Healing House an opportunity to receive extra funding during COVID.

Reason for choosing Community CareLink

The relationship Healing House developed with Community CareLink gave the Board of Directors an immediate approval for the spending. Again, the comfort level of staff, that would be using Community CareLink, is and was extremely high. The Board agreed because all staff were comfortable with the software.

Our experience with CCL has been stellar! Our work is so much more streamline and accessible for our team. I am a social worker and an administrator at my agency and CCL has been wonderful for both roles. Our note taking has improved, our intakes are clearer,  and follow-up is super easy with the calendar reminders. On the administrative side, the reports available in CCL make grant information easy to find and impressively thorough. 

Pros

CCL is easy to use and extremely user friendly.  I am not very good at technology and the fact that I can show my team how to use this is really saying something! I am able to find everything I need, when I need it.  I would have to say the best part of CCL is the staff! I looked forward to our meetings when they were training us and anytime I have a question they get back to me right away. They are friendly, kind and a joy to work with.  They feel like part of our team!

Cons

This was a learning curve for my staff and I. As a small non-profit, all of our work previously had been done on paper and sticky notes! The pandemic forced us to remote work and the paper files had to go. CCL made the process seamless and supported us every step of the way to make it as easy as possible to adjust!

### "Still learning"

It has been a great way to be able to track all of our different programing and really be able to see the participation numbers and progress of the participants. It's nice to have all this information in one place instead of multiple documents on multiple platforms.

Pros

The options are endless and seem to be vary easily adjusted to fit our needs. If we have a specific program that we are creating, we can create was to track notes for just that program. If something doesn't already exist to meet the needs for that program, there are people available to help create whatever needs to be created and it's done in a very timely manner.

Cons

It's not really to any fault of the software, more so my own scheduling. There are just so many options and features. I feel like I have yet to scratch the surface of it all and I look forward to having the time to explore it enough to be able to actually use it to it's full capacity. I'm sure this is actually a positive thing, it's just the only thing that comes to mind that I haven't felt great about.

The service is amazing and tailored for your needs. The time they took to learn about our organization and ensure that our staff was set up and using the system was better than any implementation I have been on. Beyond that, their knowledge of what others in our industry are doing has led to connections that vastly improve the way we serve our clients.

Pros

The ability to store case notes, and develop a case management system that spans across organizations means better care for our clients. We can also house program successes in the system in a way to auto-generate reports needed for grant proposals and reporting. Being able to seamlessly coordinate with other organizations is also extremely helpful and knowing communications are HIPPA compliment and secure is great.

Cons

The user interface is a bit dated and not as customizable as we would like.

Reason for choosing Community CareLink

We are building a coalition of organizations that are working together to serve the same client. This requires a product that provides more case management and integrative referral handoffs. You can tell the focus is on providing a great solution, and not just trying to aggregate nonprofits while providing negligible value in order to sell to a hospital system. We see this as being the 2.0 of referral platforms.

Once I learned how to use it, it has been fine. It’s different than what I am used to but I am able to do everything I need to for my job.

Pros

I like the ability to hover over a note to read it rather than having to open up the note.

Cons

I do not like that I have to go to each client’s page to view his/her documentation. The software also logs me off too frequently.

It was a rocky start, I cannot lie. Being able to communicate with \[sensitive content hidden\] on a weekly basis has made our relationship dynamic strong. We bounce ideas off of each other. We are learning and growing together. It seems like there are great things in the work and if in the end we are stronger and better, they are stronger and better; then it's a win-win! We truly are growing together and it's nice to be a part in assisting of the vision of CCL future.

Pros

I have worked closely with \[sensitive content hidden\] over the last few months and found we have great communication between us. They are down to earth and easy to talk to, yet professional and thorough. I appreciate the small/large company they are and are growing into.

Cons

Honestly nothing. If I ever have an issue it is addressed in a timely manner always. If ever an issue we work together to find a way to fix it.

### "Great Customer Support and Reporting"

Community CareLink was a great system to use while we were a smaller organization with less compliance needs. Reporting was very easy and efficient for what it was. Customer service was always quick and helpful and friendly when we needed it. I so appreciated their help with data migration once we switched to a different EHR.

Pros

Reports were very easy to run and access. It took out a lot of guessing work. I liked that reports showed up on the system itself and you could choose how to save the file. I really specifically liked the program outcomes reports.

Cons

Having to enter and re-enter things for our clients. Also, privacy concerns with multiple agencies using the same EHR, I didn't like how there wasn't really a good, safe way to protect our client's information

On the client data sharing side of things, data sharing is always driven by client consent, first and foremost. Once consent is gathered, you do have the ability to collaborate on clients in partnership with other agencies - but again, it's always driven by client consent, and then agency consent.

### "Outstanding Customer Support; Solid for Years, But We Outgrew It"

We have had a good overall experience with CCL. Since changing to a new EHR system we still need to use CCL for our combat funded clients, and it has worked well for those purposes. We have used CCL for many years, adn even had a customized version implemented in 2018-19, and the customer service was amazing. \[sensitive content hidden\] really went above and beyond to customize the system for my agency. I would definately recommend CCL to other providers, and it suited our needs for a very long time.

Pros

I liked that it was easy to use. Creating and running reports was also very easy, even custom reports.

Cons

Being able to capture signatures with the needed time stamp on treatment documents or diagnosis. Also if we needed to change or customize anything it took a long time to get it done, if it was even possible, and most things we had to change were because of recomendations from DMH reviews. We decided to move to antoher EHR provider, that is more of a healthcare system.

Overall our agency's experience with CCL was extremely positive. The staff is knowledgeable and experienced, and the system is easy to use for even the most entry level of users.

Pros

The CCL team is extremely attentive to detail. They want to ensure programs and workflows are set up accurately, to provide a quality user experience. They are also very responsive to questions, ensuring users get help quickly. The CCL team makes the entire experience from system set up to everyday use feel collaborative.

Cons

I'd love to see the client enrollment process and service entry work more intuitively. My experience is limited to using CCL for a very specific program, so the limitations may have been necessary due to funder reporting needs. However, it would be great to have to use fewer "clicks" in each screen.

Moble use on my phone is clunky. Would be great if a moble app was developed for easier access to the portal.

We have used the platform for approximately three years and have largely enjoyed it. It has been successful in meeting our agency’s needs.

Pros

What I like most about Community CareLink is the ability to complete all documentation in one system. The platform makes it easy to navigate data, reports, and case management, while also allowing secure facilitation of information to other agencies and entities.

Cons

What I like least is that platform updates sometimes occur without notice. This can create delays in entering data quickly, as I first have to figure out what has changed and how to adjust.

Pros

It is user friendly and allows me to get my notes in on time. It allows our interdisciplinary team to collaborate on client profiles. I liked being able to see updates in real-time, which helped our team work together more effectively. I appreciated the centralized platform that connects different agencies and reduces the back-and-forth for clients

Cons

I think that CCL has a lot of good qualities, I think not being able to upload new assessments and intake packets how we see fit would be my only concern.

Overall, I am very happy with the product, find it easy to use and it has streamlined our processes, especially with reporting.

Pros

CCL provides excellent support in both implementation and post implementation. This company understands the needs of the agencies/organizations they work with and the populations that they serve. They are also very quick to react to bugs and issues that may arise and/or user errors that can happen.

Cons

CCL will build the documents for you, which is great, but I would also like to be able to build my own documents.

Very good experience! The team is very helpful and the data we're getting back is more consistent than what we had with other products.

Pros

The customer service is great and it's easy to use. The CCL team walked us through the transition from our previous system and there were very few hiccups. They're also been crucial in helping us draft forms that get the data we need.

Cons

That we can't create our own forms on the fly when we need them. With our previous system, we had a lot of autonomy and built our own forms. This, however, created problems and inconsistent data so while I wish we could quickly create a forms at our discretion, it's probably best that we can't. Human error happened frequently.

Unite Us didn't have some of the referral features that CCL has.

Pros

The connection with the available resources It avoids searching everywhere and saves time for a specific purpose.

Cons

Sometimes the information is not always up to date or complete, which can complicate certain orientations. You still have to check next to be sure.

Community Care Link has successfully provided a way for Amethyst Place to securely and appropriately document every service we provide to clients.

Pros

The most impactful feature for my position has been the ability to document clinical progress notes in a detailed and secure way. I also frequently use the calendar/appointment feature. It is helpful that the appointments are populated on my dashboard where I can easily see them. I also appreciate that I can quickly mark a client's attendance by clicking on the their appointment on the dashboard.

Cons

I appreciate the service plan feature. However, I wish that on one service plan, multiple Life Domains could be selected at once and complied in one service plan document. Currently, multiple service plans must be created per each life domain.
