### "Very good value for your money!"

July 20, 2024

5.0

Wonderful experience, the value you get for the price you pay is great! The amount of courses you'd wanna take is huge!

Pros

very broad range of topics and courses available courses on new technologies are available quickly access to courses still in the making so we can watch them as soon as the chapters are available extremely good content, very knowledgeable trainers

Cons

the library is missing some deep-dive learning, courses tend to be level 200 at the most the structure might be boring, the introduction part into each chapter is long and unnecessary the course management page is needlessly complex

### "Good not great"

November 7, 2024

4.0

Good platform but I wouldn’t call it a leading platform

Pros

I quite liked the UI of Pluralsight compared to other platforms such as Udemy and LinkedIn Learning - it had a slick look and feel.

Cons

The range of content. Other platforms have a broader range making them more appealing.

Switched from

[Udemy Business](https://www.capterra.com/p/209689/Udemy-for-Business/)

We actually switched only part of the organisation to Udemy and ran both. This was due to leader preference - our Director of Data had previously used Pluralsight and wanted to bring it to our organisation for their department.

### "My Review of Pluralsight Skills"

June 18, 2022

2.0

My overall experience with Pluralsight Skills is not good because the content is poor.

Pros

I like the interface of Pluralsight Skills and that Pluralsight Skills focuses on implementing gamification techniques through the educational content. Also, I love that Pluralsight Skills offers scholarships for students to take most of the courses for free plus providing a certificate.

Cons

The educational content offered by Pluralsight Skills is so poor and not up to date. Also, the visual content offered by Pluralsight Skills is so little which is bad for people who love to learn from videos.

An excellent platform for software engineering teams to learn and upskill. Technology changes at a rapid pace and you need something like PluralSight on your side to keep up

Pros

\- The library of courses is very vast and very useful - Content of each course is presented in easy to understand fashion - It supports multiple devices, you can continue to learn from your phone or tablet - Certification paths help engineers to ramp up quickly

Cons

\- Administration console UI can be streamlined more - Auto suggestion based on learning can be improved also

### "Integrate Pluralsight Training Into Your Experts Path"

December 19, 2019

5.0

My experience over the past few years with Pluralsight is very good. I plan to always have a subscription. This is just a necessary item in the IT industry. The courses are very consistent and high quality with very good authors. Every day several new courses are released and usually, there is one I need to watch as part of my training program.

Pros

I get up early every day and watch courses on Pluralsight for one hour. I have been doing this for several years. For the subjects that I am interested in (IT, Cloud, Software, DevOps), their courses are first class. I also take the Pluralsight IQ tests on a regular basis in 30 different areas to review my skill set and help me find areas that I need to spend more time with. The number of courses available on Pluralsight is amazing. You could spend your entire life and not watch all of them.

Cons

The iPhone app constantly requires reauthentication which means usually I cannot watch an offline course unless I also have Internet. This is a difficulty on the train where there is no signal.

### "Great Learning Experiences"

December 19, 2019

5.0

I like the changes that they have been implementing to address user experience issues and simplify usage.

Pros

I love that you can take pre-assessment testing to understand what you don't know and that the offer suggestions on what to watch/study to help fill those gaps. I also love that I can get a variety of offerings on a similar topic so that I understand more view points.

Cons

I see confusion around the differences of Roles, Paths, etc.

Pros

Pluralsight has a vast, amazing library of content. Whatever your IT needs are, you'll find high-quality content.

Cons

I'd like Pluralsight to be my silver bullet. I want content on soft skills in the same source to make my life easier.

### "Excellent trianing platform"

April 23, 2021

5.0

I love this training sight and after 15 years in IT, this platform is the best I have used. The training variety allows you to progress sin many different aspects of your professional career, not only technical but management as well.

Pros

Skill IQ, to show you where you are in a variety of different skills. Allows you to train at the level of your knowledge, and not start from scratch. Course availability. Time tracking and certification planning.

Cons

Application navigation is a little clunky and not easy to login and pick up where you left off. The user dashboard could be improved to allow more visibility into where you want to go.

### "Great Resource, Quality Teachers and Many Topics"

December 19, 2019

5.0

We use Pluralight as a benefit to our employees. The company provides access to this services and it is helping us get certifications and sharpen our skills for the business, professionally and personally.

Pros

I like the search ability and detailed descriptions. Whether I'm curious or need serious information, I can find the title to help me accomplish that goal.

Cons

It is not optimized for Mobile use. For me I struggled to review a course or sometimes start the course while using the mobile app. Some of that may have been signal related, but some additional work to optimize for mobile delivery may be required.

### "Pluralsight is great for the entire team"

December 19, 2019

5.0

Pros

Pluralsight is great for the entire team. I sometimes as the Architect get requests out of left field and learning a new technology we need to evaluate or integrate with Pluralsight is invaluable in getting both basic and detailed info on a wide range of topics. It's great to roll out to a team of developers or QA as well.

Cons

I don't see a way to add it to my smart TV

### "Excellent quality courses!"

December 19, 2019

5.0

The courses offered allow the user to stay on top of trends in their industry. This subscription is well worth the cost to my company. It is so much easier to take one of your classes than to attend an onsite training program.

Pros

These courses are a cut above the competitors (e.g. Lynda.com, etc.). The variety and depth of courses offered make it easy to determine which courses are right for your career path and interests. Well done!

Cons

Not every course comes with a downloadable outline. Would make it easier on the student.

### "A great team PDP tool for IT Business"

December 19, 2019

4.0

Pluralsight has given my team the necessary tools to give their PDP the boost it needed to keep track of progression and development of their technical skills

Pros

Excellent Team Tracking features IQ tests help give a sense of teams current capabilities and give progression to their learning paths New Role IQ helps specifically to give a complete path to the specialization of team members Courses are well developed and created

Cons

Some courses are very old and teaching stuff that is no longer best practices or standards Courses are only technical maybe some soft skill courses like communication and leadership would give the platform the perfect experience. For technical courses design is also not very developed making the platform only for software developers
