Data entry was easy, data validation was easy too. The lock and data extraction were also straight forward. Pros I liked the ease of use of it, the validation steps were easy and not too much complainte from the sites about data entry. The reporting is good. Cons The roles ! I find the system quite intuitive and easy to work with, but I think some improvements, especially in SDV and query management, could make it even better :) Pros What I liked most about ResearchManager is that, from a monitor’s perspective, the system is quite intuitive and easy to navigate. The layout is clear and logical, which makes it relatively easy to find the necessary information. Cons From a monitor’s perspective, the weakest point is that SDV can only be performed for closed visits, and only at the page level rather than for individual data points. In other systems, I have seen a more practical solution where each data point has a default status of “SDV not performed”, which can then be changed to “SDV performed” or “SDV not OK”. If “SDV performed” is selected and the site subsequently changes the entered data, the status automatically changes to “Data changed after SDV”. In my opinion, this functionality greatly facilitates monitoring and the tracking of all data changes. Another problematic aspect is the lack of possibility to raise queries in empty visits. In such cases, I have to contact the site separately by email and provide screenshots from the eCRF to indicate the missing data. It would also be very helpful if the query status were clearly visible, i.e. whether a query has already been addressed and closed or whether it still requires action. Currently, it is only visible that a query has been raised for a given parameter, but the actual status is not clear. In addition, in the query list, it would be very useful to see the specific queries linked to specific parameters, rather than only the sections in which the queries were raised. If there are many parameters and several queries, it is easy to overlook one of them. Review Source MP Mikko P. Although all the parties involved are located in different countries, this no longer makes any difference. Pros Everything in order and in the same place. Easy to access form anywhere and esay to learn how to use. Makes performing a trial a lot easier. Cons The automatic query, when missed filling a required field- would be nicer to remind that nort all required fields are filled yet, do you really want to "save as complete"? Pros Value for money, affordable subscription model, customer support, ability to customize. Deploying our questionnaires was easy. Data collection worked seamless with recruitment team. As it was the first software I used, this was the software I had the most feeling with. Simultaneously I have used other software due to collaborations with other institutes, but I preferred using researchmanager over these other softwares. Pros The software is easy to use and really points itself out. The software uses a user friendly interface allowing for easy data collection. Furthermore it allows for adequate data management by tracking all changes made to the data over time. Cons No actual points to improve currently. During the time I have used the software, I rarely encountered a bug or serious issue that could not be overcome. The system is easily accessible and supports all parties in the assessment of a study. In addition, the system has an archif function where all documents are saved. The approved and the rejected. The minutes and questions from the committee members remain transparent to all parties at all times. If a printout has to be made for overviews of studies or study components, this system is supporting this. You can sort on every detail of/in the application. This saves the secretariat and its staff a lot of time.It is easy to make overviews on request for investigators or for the competent authority when in need. Pros it is easy for investigators to upload their study. They can follow the progress of the descission making process.... The METC has all the docs/letters/review questions/and meeting information in 1 application. The members of the METC have easy acces to the application and they can add their review from any laptop/computer or phone from anywher in the world as long as there is internet. Cons It some times can be a bit slow , that can be frustrating! Het programma is heel gebruiksvriendelijk en intuïtief, waardoor je er snel mee uit de voeten kunt, ook als je nog niet alles kent. Wat ik zelf erg prettig vind, is dat je het systeem goed kunt aanpassen zodat het aansluit bij hoe jij werkt. Dat maakt het overzichtelijk en efficiënt in het dagelijks gebruik. Mocht je toch ergens tegenaan lopen, dan is de helpdesk gelukkig makkelijk benaderbaar. De lijntjes zijn kort en je krijgt snel reactie. De medewerkers denken echt met je mee en zijn behulpzaam, wat het werken met het programma nog fijner maakt. Al met al een fijne en praktische tool die ons werk een stuk soepeler laat verlopen. Pros Het is aanpasbaar naar jouw wensen, waardoor de processen op persoonlijke voorkeur ingericht kunnen worden. It takes quite some time to get the hang of it, but once you do, all your documents and files are safely stored in a strategic manner. Pros \- At the beginning of this year, our hospital merged the different links needed for METC manager, Data manager and Researcher manager. This is was a good idea. - The software has a relatively logical construct which could enable a new user to navigate the site. Cons \- Despite the relatively logical construct of the website, the information provided in the Help-tab is not sufficient. Most time I would have to resort to calling the administrator. - A lot of information has to be re-entered for the different modules in Research manager. This is very time consuming.
