" December 12, 2025 4.0 As a new user of this system, I’ve found it to be generally functional and well-suited to our operational needs. Most features are intuitive once you get familiar with the layout, and the system handles core quality processes reliably. There is a gradual learning curve—especially when navigating less frequently used modules—but with a bit of hands-on time, the workflows become much clearer. Overall, it’s a solid platform that supports day-to-day tasks effectively and becomes easier to use the more you work with it. Pros I’ve really enjoyed working with DOT. Its functionality is intuitive, making everyday tasks noticeably easier. The platform feels inclusive, with clear workflows that support collaboration across teams and ensure everyone stays aligned. One of the biggest benefits has been how much it streamlines the document review process—what used to be time-consuming and scattered is now organized, efficient, and easy to track from the almost start to finish. I also like that the associated forms have a direct alignment with the documents and do not require subsequent update on revisions. Overall, it’s made a meaningful improvement in how we manage quality and communicate as a team. Cons I am disappointed with our current system, particularly with how it handles documents initially in revision. The fact that open documents aren’t visible until they reach the review stage creates unnecessary delays and confusion. It’s difficult to track what’s actively being worked on, which leads to duplicate efforts and missed updates. This lack of transparency in the initial revision process makes the system feel inefficient and counterproductive compared to other eQMS platforms that offer real-time visibility. This limitation has an impact on workflow and makes document management for authors more challenging than it needs to be. Additionally, the signing off process is a bit cumbersome. Having a pin number or an auto fill for sign off would be easier for users. The platform gives us confidence in the security of our data while making compliance work far more manageable and transparent. Pros Dot Compliance delivers exceptional value for money, especially considering the breadth of functionality it offers. I observed the window during that time, and I am aware of which season it is, as well as the work that needs to be completed. I find the space to be a good experience, particularly with PDF generation and audit trails. The window displays all the mistakes they find, allowing them to correct them. I am also very impressed with the Dot compliance team for their promotions and support at various work levels. Pros I appreciate dot compliance due to its user-friendly nature and ease of understanding for everyone. The usage of home windows displays pending actions alongside validation deliverables, and the design of the dot compliance training modules is commendable. Additionally, the sandbox feature is beneficial for any trial purposes, making it very helpful. Cons There is one SOP available; however, we are unable to view local languages in the country. Additionally, when printing any documents, the output appears in a light color, whereas it should be in a bold color with an appropriate size. The internal staff transitioned to the eQMS quickly and the modules were easy to use. Pros The Dot Compliance quality management system offers a good value for your money. It was easy to transition to the eQMS. Support was dependable and quick to respond. Cons One of the things that I didn't like was that we were assigned multiple project managers during implementation. This caused a gap in learning all of the capabilities of the modules during implementation. Pros I like DOT Compliance' capability to control the linking of related documents, so that one qualification package including appendices, drafts and executed protocols are together with the corresponding report at all times. Cons The overall appearance seems low key and not eye catching. The User dashboard looks cluttered. Functionality wise, it is fine. " November 5, 2025 3.0 My overall experience is poor. Dot is not straightforward and feels like a string theory trying to piece all the components together to get a document controlled. Pros The document management interface is visually appealing. Unfortunately that is the only positive thing I can think of and need to hit a minimum character value. Cons It's not very user friendly. Too many clicks are required to find what you need. Sometimes you can't find what you need. There are soo many steps involved to control documents. Trying to figure out training assignments feels impossible. I often feel frustrated and overwhelmed by Dot. I have found the staff very friendly, helpful and quick in their response time during the implementation of this system. Pros I like the ability to customize the names and types of fields available to my specific needs along with the ability to make them mandatory or not for each step of the process. The system does a great job to work around the user, instead of the user trying to change their process to fit the system. Cons I would like to see the ability to customize the tiles on the home page. The ability to sort them alphabetically, or to group them based on process, or to change their colors based on personal preference. For example, to be able to group all tiles related to complaints together and color them green. Then group all tiles related to deviations together and color them purple, etc. Currently the tiles are organized solely based on number of records within and that does not help me prioritize or find what I need. Provide the user more control over how these tiles can best be organized for them. The file sharing is quick and user friendly. Cons The ease of use in Dot Compliance can be further improved in many ways,. First, the search function should be able to find key words within the document. People tend to forget to include key words when they are generating a document so having AI for this will help tremendously. Second, organizing files/documents into specific folder for easy access when needed. Third, advanced filter to easily find documents. I had access to go over my original review tests at my leisure - and that it was a value value packed system. If there was any issue at all I was re-assured by the fantastic customer support theme. The user access and management was so clear and precise that I was never left scratching my head. File sharing was a breeze between employee and supervisor then entire time I've used the software. Pros I love how every employee on the team could share learn and align the way they go through training all at their own pace with very little effort - while still learning a huge wealth of information. Cons There were a few bugs when trying to register a virtual class as being completed. We don't get immediate notifications when important documents are changed. I am enjoying the easy access to the DOT database and how it remembers the docs I use and puts them right in front of me instead of having to do another search. As a facilities manager, the access DOT is providing is making my job so much easier and efficient. Pros So much easier to use than our previous software. Can actually find documents and I appreciate being able to FAVORITE docs that I use regularly. I have not used the functions yet that are for collaborating to make changes to documents but that time will come and seeing the transparency in the process provided by DOT is encouraging. Cons Being new to the system it is a bit overwhelming with all the tabs. But that comes with practice. So not really a con. I think start with a homepage with less and most used functions and let the individual user modify from there. Pros I love that it an serve as both a QMC and Clinical system. I can save both quality documents as well as clinical record documents. Cons It was not highly intuitive with some features such as the approval signature, and the action button signature. There are issues that make the document revision process more difficult when compared to Trackwise but some benefits that make things easier. Pros I like that there is not a separate document and change side of Dot and that everything is done in one place for a document change. I also like that a document can be rejected back at any part in the document revision process. Cons There are several glitches at different parts during the document revision process. For example, sometimes when pushing a document from open to pending review or from feedback consolidation to pending approval, the document reverts back to a previous version. Additionally sometimes the documents will render incorrectly causing things to get rejected when there is nothing actually wrong with the document. Pros Easy to order controlled documents on the software, also allows for easy access to documents as well as with sharing files and documents when collaborating with other departments. Cons The transition from a word document when checked back in is a little rough, the formatting doesn't always match what it was before being turned in.
