Our overall experience has been exceptional. From installation of the software, to training and setup. I highly recommend.

Pros

TimeTrakGo integrates with QuickBooks effortlessly. It's a great value and is easy to use. TimeTrakGO was an easy transition for our employees. Processing payroll now takes less than an hour after reviewing time reports. We have found customer service to be very responsive. I would recommend TimeTrakGO because of their customer service only, but it is a wonderful program

Cons

So far I have not found anything that I dislike or think could use improvement. TimeTrakGo is perfect for our company.

### "Better Than QuickBooks Time - and Half the Price!"

I started using TimeTrakGo after getting frustrated with the cost of QuickBooks Time. The switch was simple, and their support team was phenomenal in guiding me through setup. I loved it so much that I moved both of my companies over. The system is easy to use, my team adapted quickly, and I really like the biometric and geofence features for accurate clock-ins. Best part? I’m now paying less than half of what I used to and getting the same core features. It’s been a smooth, positive experience from start to finish.

Pros

What I like most about TimeTrakGo is how much value I’m getting for the price—it’s less than half of what I paid for QuickBooks Time, but it still gives me all the features I need. The support team is phenomenal—super quick to respond, friendly, and they actually solve the problem on the first try. It’s also really easy to use, so my employees had no trouble learning it. I love the biometric facial recognition for secure clock-ins and the geofence feature that makes sure mobile clock-ins happen only at approved locations. It’s just a solid, reliable system that works.

Cons

Honestly, there’s not much I dislike, but if I could change one thing, it would be to add email or mobile app alert notifications for certain situations, like missed punches or when someone is close to overtime. I’d also like to see a way to approve timecards directly in the system instead of just adding notes. It works fine as is, but those two features would make it even better and save a little extra time during payroll.

Pros

App worked well when I used it for 1 year.

Cons

I used it one year, and was charged two more years on auto renewal without an email or info letting me know that they were doing so. Shitty integrity.

Overall the experience has made my job easier in being able to handle employees time for payroll and allowing them a simple log in and log out system to capture their time.

Pros

Very user friendly for the employees to log in and out. All the administrator aspects are very easy to use for payroll.

Cons

The only con I feel like is the employee can't see their previous days total time on their terminal.

I am overall very pleased with TimeTrak Go and how easy it is to use. Adjusting time and logging someone's PTO hours is very easy.

Pros

How easy it is to use. Keeping track of all the employees PTO hours is very helpful. All of our employees seem to have an easy time clocking in and out. I have had very little complaints since we have started using it.

Cons

I wish we could differentiate between PTO and vacation hours. Sometimes the geotracking is also off, which makes it difficult to clock in and out.

Overall, I have been extremely satisfied. I highly recommend TimeTrakGO for keeping track of hourly employees clock times and PTO.

Pros

The time keeping is easy to use and understand. The set-up was simple. The employees like it. It has made it easier to address missed punches quickly. The support is fantastic! Anytime that I have had a question, no matter how complex it seemed to me, a real person was there to help me. Their answers are clear and easy to understand.

Cons

The only thing that I can think of is that I didn't know about it sooner. We had considered many products before we found TTG.

### "Easy to use time clock!!!"

Before using TimeTrakGo, we were using a software that was causing too much grief and headaches. Nothing was seeming to work correctly. When we switched to TimeTrakGo, we were up and running within two days. If we had/have any questions we were able to chat, and all of our questions were answered almost immediately.

Pros

It is a simple/ easy to use time clock. The set up was extremely quick and easy. The app allows our technicians to clock in and out from the job site, rather than having to come back to the office.

Cons

We do not use rounding for all of our departments. There is not a way to only have rounding for some departments, but not others. We decided to use the rounding for all departments. Everything seems to be working well.

Fair enough, but there is a learning curve, so onboarding is necessary. Overall, though, it isn't a bad product

Pros

The cost, and once you are familar quth thr problem it is easy to use. The multiple ways to track time are useful.

Cons

You pay for each user, even for the administrator who doesnt track time,so that is a hidden cost that really makes no sense since they don't track time. The admin should be included in the monthly fee. The payroll integration is also problematic.

Overall signing up was easy. Onboarding was also a breeze. The price is great for what the software can do. My only wish is for somewhere for the team to add notes.

Pros

Simple to use, easy to install the app on phones. Billing makes sense and the competitive price. Overall a good product.

Cons

Nowhere for staff to leave notes within the system for missed punches. This creates some inefficiencies that I wish could be improved. I am hoping this note feature will be added. It would shave time off the weekly time card audit task.

Easy to set up. The chat feature is manned by real people who write back quickly with screenshots and specifics on how to do anything you might be stuck on.

Cons

PTO and Sick time set up was a bit confusing. I needed alot of help to get it set to a normal place, luckily the chat team made it easy to find what I needed to change to make it work.

We have approximately 35 employees that are on the payroll. TimeTrakGO integrates with our payroll software system, Gusto, and makes preparing reports for payroll very easy.

Pros

We started using TimeTrakGO coming up on a year. I really like the software; it's very easy to use. The facial recognition feature is great. And, if you have any questions, the customer service is exceptional.

Cons

I like TimeTrakGO, but the only con I have is that it times out too soon. I would like to be able to set the timeout to a longer period.

Overall, TimeTrakGo is well-designed and has great potential. However, the system should be smart enough to ignore accidental double-taps or merge them so that the following work hours are calculated properly. If this calculation bug is fixed, it would be a much more reliable tool for daily use.

Pros

TimeTrakGo interface is very clean and professional. It allows me to check my shift status and work hours at a glance, which is very convenient. I also appreciate the direct customer service feature that allows users to report issues immediately.

Cons

If I accidentally "Clock In" twice—for example, when returning from a break—the system fails to calculate the subsequent work hours correctly. Although the data is saved, the time between that double-entry and the final "Clock Out" is not recognized as valid work hours. This leads to inaccurate payroll records and requires manual corrections every time a simple double-tap occurs.

### "Great Upgrade From Previous Version"

Experience has been very positive. Upgrading from our previous version was a no-brainer. Very user friendly. Speed is great.

Pros

I like not having physical time clocks and our employees can clock in and out on their phones from job site. No more I lost or forgot my key fob.

Cons

Don't like that when their is an update to the phone app it doesn't tell you. The screen just goes white and employees panic. I wish the scheduling was more customizable by location and employee.

My overall experience is excellent - If we can't find answers in the Help section, you reach out to them and they will help you through whatever questions you have. When it was initially set up they made it so easy.

Pros

This platform is very simple to use. Easy to add employees for the use of the timecards. We use it for multiple Companies we track and they make it so simple to pull reports for each entity. The employees seem to think it is so simple to clock in and out.

Cons

We really haven't found anything that we really don't like about the platform. They have streamlined and made i simple to use/setup.

We went from an on premise time clock and tracking vacation time using spreadsheets to a web-based experience with TimeTrakGo. We are so happy with all the features and the employees let us know the time clock is very easy to use.

Pros

TimeTrakGo has revolutionized the way we handle time tracking and vacation tracking in our company. Before we were using an on premise time clock and we were tied to accessing the time data on premise. We love the fact TimeTrakGo is web-based meaning we can work on the time from anywhere. There are so many features included for free and the paid tier is worth the upgrade. The customer support is quick and very helpful. Overall we are very happy making the switch to TimeTrakGo.

Cons

There aren't too many cons to using TimeTrakGo so far in our experience.

It's so easy to use and you couldn't get any more accurate. The support staff are friendly and easy to contact. Our office should have had this a decade ago. I've been using it for several years and I love it.

Pros

The simplicity of the software, it's the best system out there, especially for small businesses. You don't spend hours trying to track time, it's minutes.

Cons

Still trying to figure out how to export hours from Time TrakGo to Sage software. It may be as simple as we have to upgrade to the next level.
