Pros

  • Sensitive content hidden] is knowledgable, patient, efficient and has a great sense of humor. I really appreciate working with her and her patience in training me.

  • Customer service has been the best in town, everyone is responsive and helpful, including those in the management positions and higher ups.

  • The system is easy to use, looks clean and professional, has lots of great reports, billing is easy to push out, and the staff there is responsive and helpful.

  • The product is visually appealing, super user friendly, and doesn't complicate processes with redundancies like many of their competitors' platforms do.

Cons

  • I do think that many of the reported problems are due to users misunderstanding procedures. LOVE that customer service responds quickly to facebook group.

  • So far I have not been able to find something I dislike.

  • One feature of this company that I find inconvenient is the inability to save notes.

  • The only feature missing for our team is an app.

"Aloha ABA Review"

Overall: We are very happy with AlohaABA so far. The integrations are nice for clinical documentation and it just has made seeing clients a lot easier than it would be manually.

Pros: Aloha is clearly built for BCBA's and people running ABA companies. It feels like they've thought of everything I could possibly need or run into.

Cons: I would love an app, but that isn't the biggest deal. Their browser based software scales well on all devices.

"Feeling Empowered in a System that CAN Support an ABA Organization"

Overall: 100% positive from the demo, onboarding to day to day use. I was able to schedule a follow up call to get additional help after I began to heavily use the system with managing receivables/co-payments. Staff love it! I feel empowered running my business with the ability to see snapshots of billables from my dashboards as well as adding a level of accountability with ensuring that my BCBAs managing their overall billables.

Pros: I loved the ease of set up. My onboarding did not take that long. My onboarding specialist made time for me and did not rush me when I had questions.

Cons: I don't have any Cons directly related to use of the system. I do think some of the help documentation may be worth of a revisit for updates, but overall -- great product.

Reasons for Choosing AlohaABA: Demo and initial onboarding were great. But once I went live, I felt like I was thrown in the water without a life jacket. That's a terrible feeling to have since I was the one who made the decision to switch. Migration of my data from Accupoint was one of my reasons for selecting them initially.
Switched From: AccuPoint
Reasons for Switching to AlohaABA: Therapy Brands was forcing me to switch t WebABA. While I was very faithful to the Accupoint product, I was not onboard with the Web ABA.

"Amazing Customer Service and Support"

Overall: AlohaABA has been invaluable, thanks to the incredible support I've received from the team, especially [sensitive content hidden]. She’s been my go-to for every question and need, always responsive, attentive, and kind. Her guidance has been instrumental in my success, and I couldn’t be more grateful. [sensitive content hidden] has been with me through every step of my journey, from filing my first claim and handling denials to celebrating when I reached six figures. I truly attribute my success to the outstanding customer service at AlohaABA. The confidence I have today to support my clients and grow my business is due to this platform and its commitment to helping small business owners and clinicians like me make a meaningful impact in ABA with independent practices. Thank you for creating such an empowering resource!"

Pros: Ease of use, price point, and amazing customer service/support. The Aloha team is always available to assist.

Cons: Claim correction and recoupment process could be streamlined.

Alternatives Considered: Lumary ABA and Rethink
Reasons for Choosing AlohaABA: Price point, customer service, month-to-month billing with no contract.

"Exceptional Support and Unmatched User Experience with AlohaABA"

Overall: My experience with AlohaABA has been nothing short of phenomenal! The customer support truly sets it apart from all other billing platforms I've used, including WebABA, CentralReach, Kareo, Medisoft, and ClinicSource. None of them come close to the level of respect, attentiveness, and dedication that the AlohaABA team provides. The value of their support alone makes a huge difference in the overall experience, elevating the software far beyond its competitors.

Pros: The outstanding customer support! The people behind the product truly make all the difference. The fact that the team who built the product is still actively involved and deeply understands customer needs is impressive. Their responsiveness is exceptional—I've never had to wait more than a couple of hours for a reply from their support team. It shows their commitment to both the product and their customers.

Cons: While there have been a few minor glitches and occasional unexplained errors, the exceptional customer support more than makes up for it. The team is incredibly responsive, quickly addressing any issues and even jumping on a call to fully understand the impact on your organization. Their dedication to resolving problems is truly unmatched.

Alternatives Considered: Lumary ABA
Reasons for Choosing AlohaABA: We demoed a few products (can’t remember all of the names)I chose AlohaABA because my demo was a live demo and dont by [sensitive content hidden] . As a small business owner, my respect was through the roof that [sensitive content hidden] was still involved and cared about the experience of new customers.
Switched From: WebABA
Reasons for Switching to AlohaABA: WebABA was horrible. I switched from CentralReach to WebABA. CentralReach was good for billing yet terrible for data collection and extremely expensive. WebABA cost our organization money because of its “glitches” and their customer service was rude, passive aggressive, had high turn over, and overall the worst customer service I’ve ever experience.
