I am very satisfied with it. I think its a great tool. I think more time on the initial implementation with a functionality user would be very helpful to new clients. As in, the new client describes their process and a BASSI functional expert gives them suggestions on how to implement.

Pros

Works very well for rental deployment. User friendly. Lots of options for customization and/or setup.

Cons

I would like to see more functionality around inventory items. Such as driving demand from rental tickets. Also, if I have a stocking level on an inventory item that is an assembly, would like to see it drive demand for the components.

I have worked with the Corporate Services team for over 11 Years and have made great relationships. The team is always eager to assist and can always be counted on to get the job done, big or small.

Pros

The Corporate Services team consistently delivers a high-quality, easy to use system at a fair price. The customer support is always prompt and always very helpful.

Cons

Although small and not a large concern, there are a couple minor functions we miss from TrakQuip....

Great. We have thoroughly enjoyed this rental piece and have had no issues with it since we implemented it a few years ago.

Pros

Straight forward and streamlined our ticketing and invoicing process. If our managers can do it then anyone can.

Cons

Not a period based system everything is date driven. Would be supper helpful to our accounting system that we import to from basis to have period to post invoices.

Pros

Basis is good for our inventory control, creating tickets and invoices. Also the integration it has to our accounting software is seemless. The reporting module is usually what we need, but we have also created our own custom reports.

Cons

The only CON I can think of is, if an issue is found you may have to wait a week or 2 until they can identify the issue and correct it. Although being in IT this is such a low CON it almost isnt one.

I recommend BASIS to any organization seeking software that can track revenue, costs, and locations while also helping them effectively utilize their assets.

Pros

BASIS is easy to use, offers excellent customer support, and provides a wide range of reporting tools that help you better understand and manage your business.

Cons

I don’t have any negative comments. The software effectively captures our business operations, generates the reports we need to run the organization, and provides a dashboard that visually displays key aspects of our performance

It has been great overall. It's rare that something arises that we cannot handle out of the box or with some relatively minor development. Having full access to our database and the provided API structure helps us to further expand our use of this product.

Pros

Basis is an extremely flexible rental and sales management solution supported by a great and knowledgeable staff. They are very open to new development and help us to come up with great solutions that work well within their platform. Any issues that arise are addressed rapidly by their support staff. We've been using this platform for over 10 years and are extremely pleased with the value and support we receive!

Cons

The system has been around for quite some time, so the core back-end could use some updating, especially related to how pricing is determined and how it ties into services like OpenInvoice. While what they have definitely works, we believe it could be better.

As the owner of a medical equipment rental company that serves healthcare providers, we struggled for years to find software that could accommodate our unique workflow. Unlike typical rental operations, our equipment goes out without a predetermined return date, and nearly every program we looked at required a return date. Basis, by Corporate Services, was the first solution that actually fit how our business operates. It is remarkably easy to use, our team picked it up quickly, and it has saved us countless hours of manually tracking where our equipment is and who has it. Before using Basis, monthly billing took almost three weeks; now it takes three day! And the customer support is second to none. Every time you call with an issue or question, you get a live human without having to go through long telephone prompts or an AI assistant. And they always do a great job resolving the issue. I highly recommend Basis and the Corporate Services team, especially if you run a rental operation that doesn't follow a standard return-date model.

Pros

Corporate Services, the company that developed Basis, has wonderful customer service. The program is easy to use. I love that Basis could be customized to fit our particular business needs.

Cons

No complaints. It can be a little confusing to set up. But if you forget how to do something, the Corporate Services team is always there to help.
