Overall using this Momentum IoT has strengthen my relationship with my clients and provided an extra layer of confindience when shipping goods. It allows for them to self-manage the process and also provides really awesome reporting. It adaptiable so I could see many other companies switching to the service to have a an uniform system .

Pros

As a small business getting into the freight game I was looking for a product that allows me to track and understand the movement of the drivers while in possession of the shipper's cargo. I wanted something which provided realtime data and also that the shipper and receiver could access to see or track as well. Momentum IoT allows me to provide what's the client needs without having to hold their hand to get it. I can handle other responsibilities and they can access it when they need too. I also love the fact that it's pretty userfriendly and understandable so there isn't a lot of training needed to get going and understanding the interface. The customer support team is awesome, friendly and knowledgable as they fully understand the product and its capabilities.

Cons

Being that this is one of the first systems I've used I don't have anything negative about it really. I've enjoyed using it and most of the issues I have experenced with user errors.

10/10 100% would recommend. We are very happy with momentum.

Pros

We like how user friendly their app and onboarding is. From gps tracking to dash cameras they’re all very easy to install and navigate once up and running.

Cons

Overall everything is great, we do wish the app was more active in the sense of when vehicles are idling and if they make separate stops along the way to one place. Most quick visits to locations don’t actually track to the app.

Pros

At the beginning decent customer service. Units in my vehicles have not sent a signal for over a year. Told them about it numerous times.

Cons

False alerts when it worked. Lack of customer service last year plus. No clear directions on how to quit.

### "The best fleet service"

I love it, wish service titan was half as good.

Pros

I like how accurate it is, keeps us aware where the fleet is and has been. History lets you go back and see what time arrival was or when they drive off.

Cons

that they did not have cameras when we got them

Hi Jim - Thanks for the shout out! It's always great to hear that customers love the product!! You might know that we have dual HD dash cams now that are really cool. There are at least 7 monitors you can set up to get instant alerts for stuff like speeding, hard braking, fast cornering, obscuring the camera, etc. The driver gets the alert in the cabin too! Changes behaviors pretty fast - at least that's what others have said.

Our company has been using Momentum for almost 4 years now, and I've never had to call once about a unit tripping or not working.

Pros

I like that I never have an issue with disconnection. These tracking units work in all kinds of weather.

Cons

What I like least is looking up past trips. It's not that it isn't user friendly, but I have used similar software that is much simpler.

### "It works on cars and golf carts"

The GPS has worked out for what we need. We have put on our patrol cars and golf carts. The golf cart reporting is limited but surprised it works

Overall had a good experience. Had one issue a few years back that required me to send van into dealer for service. Overall happy.

Not enough features, some of the functionality of the online app is not robust enough.

Positive. Helpful team. Simple installations. Hardware holds up and is not bulky or difficult to work with.

Pros

The installs of equipment are simple and not time -consuming. Requests for new equipment and supplies are sent in a timely manner.

Cons

I often run into an issue with the website pausing. I run connectivity reports every two days for all locations and it becomes time consuming due to the lag of the website when changing locations. I also notice that days offline is not always accurate. Sometimes units will show up as disconnected and show a span of time that is longer than when we were last in the system to generate a disconnected report.

Great product, but a little pricey. Easy to run the wires and place in a hidden location. Great features like alert for disconnected unit.

Pros

Ease of install and great tracking. Product is easy to hide anywhere you'd like. Wires are long enough to place in your cabin or behind your wheel well.

Cons

Price per month. It was cheaper when I first got it but then the price increased. The product had a small issue with tracking but then fixed itself.

We did raise the monthly fee last year to cover rising costs, but it’s still one flat monthly rate with hardware included, free shipping, no contracts, and lifetime replacement. We also keep adding new functionality like automated job costing, fleet maintenance software, and (coming soon) inspections - at no additional cost. We strive to give a lot of bang for every buck! Momentum works very diligently at solving any issue we have and also communicating issues that they have resolved but did not directly impact our Fleet. This level of transparency is very refreshing compared to other telematics providers.

Pros

The reporting dashboard is very easy to use and the robustness of the trips report allows for a high degree of KPI customization.

Cons

Additional reports mapping speed and accelerometer data. Driver & maintenance integration should also be on the road map to have a full feature suite.

It’s very helpful to be able to keep track of my vehicle’s remotely. I know at what time they get on the road and the map shows me the exact location.

Pros

It’s easy to use, I can take a look at the map any time and check where my trucks are.

Cons

It’s a little difficult to go back and try to look for a route made on a specific date.

It's very easy to use. It's basically point and click.

Cons

Generating reports can get to be overwhelming because all of the data the device collects. In this case, too much of a good thing is a good thing.

I was set up with Momentum upon starting a new position. Upon receiving some training from Momentum themselves, our location has had many problems put at ease with all of the features that they have to offer. With new features coming up constantly, we're excited for what's to come as well.

Pros

Momentum has everything you could want for fleet management. Accurate GPS locations, driver scorecards, fleet maintenance, profitability trackers, and more. Their customer service is top tier as well.

Cons

So far, our company hasn't had any negative experiences with Momentum. Everything has worked above our expectations.

Overall I love momentum. The data that is collected is full spectrum. It's so much easier to track my crews.

Pros

Ease of use, value for money, and customer support. Tracking is great, i love being able to see where my crews are at at any given time. I also like knowing the status of my vehicles as well, mileage, error codes, fuel levels, driver grades, etc.

Cons

With monitors and notifications, it's hard to get the full story or the whole picture. For instance, if someone exits a geofence, I have to go search to find out when they arrived and calculate how long they were in the geofenced area (gas stations "filling up with gas" for 45 mins, etc.). Or the speed limit monitor tells me the time they were speeding, but not the actual speed, therefor I have to go search their history to try to get an idea of the range they were driving in. Also, the application on ipads just doesn't fit the form. It's like a mobile sized app that doesn't utilize the fullscreen. This makes it difficult for my field managers to use to monitor their crews.
