I requested you correct it to 2 floors. I have used the app many times. Sometimes it works great. When it doesn't, it is a terrible experience. Pros I like the home detail that the app provides. It is a great way to get detail of a homes floorpan. Cons They constantly add to your invoice after you order. If the scan makes a mistake, you will be charged to correct it. Its been amazing, saves me a TON of time, its accurate, and its very easy to use. Id recommend using this product for every single real estate listing. Pros There are so many features I enjoy. Going from using a laser to measure each room and taking 2 hours to sketch it out by hand to using my phone to take a 10 minute scan and im done. Its a game changer! Plus the extra options and improvements they keep making such as adding 3d floor plans, gross living area, property description packages, and more! Its really fantastic and accurate!! Cons I think the only thing i dont like is how when youre scanning a smaller room the app uells at you and says youre too close! I know im too close, the room is only 6ft by 5ft but that doesnt mean it doesnt work. It still works perfectly it just yells at you and makes you feel as if theres an error when there isnt. Appraiser Banking Used the software for: 6-12 months ### "Appraisal Help" December 14, 2022 5.0 Pros This product saves me lots of time especially when I have a 1.5-story house to measure. I often check it with known measurements and it is very good. I argued with them the other day because I just knew they were wrong with the measurement of a commercial property. They said they double-checked and were right. I went back out to the property to prove them wrong. Guess what- They were right. I just missed a big area because it was walled off. I even had to request to get a video back so I could screen a picture of a bathroom I missed taking a picture for. Great customer service. Cons The floor plan is hard to read because of the font size. Part of it could be because my appraisal software is not the same quality. I wish they would put the measurements of the exterior on the better-looking downloads instead of just the grid. The better-looking floor plans are good for a realtor because it shows interior measurements. November 14, 2019 5.0 Many realtors have said to me their customers do not want 3D tours and do not use them but they love getting the floor plans. Without CubiCasa it is difficult to get floor plans of a home without a lot of expense and time. HOORAY! Pros The greatest thing about the CubiCasa software (app) is 1. ease of use 2. sophistication of the output generated 3. ease when you want to modify a room label (on the floor plan) or a location on the Home Report Realtors LOVE that I provide these when I give them still photography on their listings!! Cons Such a minor thing (which I believe may be implemented) adding a pause button on the floor plan scan. I love this company, it's a huge plus in a listing interview. Pros Extremely fast to create large floor plans, what would take perhaps 2-3 hours, now can be done in 15 minutes! Cons Pay per use, but it's worth it when you consider the amount of time saved. Photographer Real Estate Used the software for: Less than 6 months ### "Great Potential Crippled By Shotcomings" September 19, 2024 2.0 It's so nearly an excellent service. With a small amount of TLC it would be fantastic and I'd give it 5 stars, but I ultimately can't. My suspicion is that most of this is algorithmic or AI based, because if humans were actually reviewing footage and comparing to the output floorplan they would catch the silly mistakes that come up. This would be fine were it a low-cost monthly subscription, but you typically pay $30USD or so for a full plan. Getting a revision is tedious and difficult and I often can't tell if they're still just relying on AI, because you point out the utterly obvious (like a non-existent wall, or a random exterior fence being included in GLA floorspace) or make notes on the order and they're essentially ignored, often taking half a dozen emails to tediously resolve something minor. All of this would be water under the bridge if the editing software had any degree of flexibility, but it doesn't. MS Paint has more features. You can't adjust text size or boldness of individual text, only all the text; you can't delete or revise a wall that was misplaced; you can't selectively include or exclude square footage of rooms; there's no option to add a title to all pages. What's most egregious is the software doesn't retain the video of the floorplan for you to review and compare to the output, meaning you resort to screen-capturing the footage or have to simply remember. Cubicasa does little to nothing with feedback given, either. Some of these tweaks would be stupidly simple to implement with a few hours of programming. Pros Floorplans are quick and relatively intuitive to execute. Turnaround times are reasonable, with serious caveats I will list below. January 3, 2023 5.0 I have been a very early adopter since I found out about this product and the customer service is great. I have never had to wait long to get answers to questions I have and unlike other service providers someone always responds. Pros This is the easiest to use app to create professional floor plans that I have ever seen. I use this for every listing I take and oftentimes combine it with a 360 degree tour to allow viewers to see where they are in the house by referencing the floor plan. Most of my clients need floor plan so it is a great tool to have, also fairly accurate. Cons Very rarely, looses the tracking and makes you start over, I can\`t think of anything else :) Reason for choosing CubiCasa I was considering doing floorplans, but everyone was measuring with lazar and drawing which I didn\`t have will and patients to do, but saw Cubicasa and jumped right one it, great tool and fast. Thank you! Pros Using this has opened a new door for my business to make a profit. Realtors love floor plans as an easy add-on, and they really like the designs that CubiCasa offers Cons The accuracy has been a little here and there, but that's where customer support has come in CLUTCH. Some of it has been user error, and they've helped teach and train as needed. Some of it is simply due to the fact that assessors measure differently than CubiCasa, and we end up with different numbers. But again, working with support has gotten me incredibly close, and close enough for realtors to be happy. It's amazing to me that they get it right even when the house being scanned has stuff literally all over the place... closets jam packed... garage totally full... basement pack to the gills... but CubiCasa does an amazing job, and even with all of that they still are spot on with the floor plans. Greate job! Keep up the great work. Pros It's easy to use, easy to get edits if you need them (although I've never needed many because they do such a good job the first time around). The job Cubicasa does is often as good or better than I would be able to do measuring myself with a laser inside, and saves a lot of time re-sketching the house later. It also is a life-saver in inclement weather in New England! Pros I love how I can easily download the GLA package and it saves me a lot of time. Pros So easy to use..I got a great floor plan after only 2 attempts to scan the house with my phone! Cons The industry requires total square footage breakdowns by floor etc. My first floorplan during my trial did not contain this. It would look unprofessional to attach the total square footage manually or with different looking font on an electronic document or print-out. Why can't this be generated with a scan? Basic stuff! If you need spot on measurements then use a laser but if you need 98% accuaracy and a great end product to provide your client then this is the ticket! Pros This app makes measuring and floor plans easy and effective. It produces a great product and is the best bang for your buck! Cons It is a little tough in small areas to not get a warning message for moving too fast sideways or tilting the camera too much.
