We appreciate the ease of use, the remote access, and the accessible customer service. There is so much out there that you can never talk to a human, and GoToMyPC is amazing in so many ways, including the human connection to our high technology! Pros I love that I can always access my computer from anywhere! I do not have many problems or connectivity issues and when I do, I can get someone on the phone to help me quickly. Everyone is knowledgeable about troubleshooting and friendly. I've been using it for over 10 years and it's ease and dashboard is wonderful and easy. Cons There's not much I can say. There have been every few times that I have to call customer support - usually it's an update that I need to make- and everyone is helpful. I've had some connection issues, but it's usually the result of our office Wi-Fi. My daughter works as my assistant for the same company. We are the only two employees allowed to work remotely from home. I'm grateful that GoToMyPC has allowed me the vehicle to have this dream job. In the four years I've been using GoToMyPC, I haven't once had to contact customer support for any issues. Pros GoToMyPC gives me complete access to my office computer working remotely on my laptop from home, hotels while traveling or visiting family. I especially appreciate being able to print remotely to my office printer! Cons The annual cost for two computers is quite costly! It would be helpful to have a monthly subscription. The platform is stable and does exactly what I need. Pros What I like most about GoToMyPC is that since I have basically become bedridden because of stage 4 cancer, GoToMyPC has allowed me to continue to do most of my work remotely from home and literally from my bed. I have an office manager on site, but there are some functions of the company that he is still unable to do at this point. This allows me to continue to move my business forward and have complete control over my finances without disrupting the everyday business of my office manager. Cons Honestly, the only thing I don't like is the cost. I started with LogMeIn and was a loyal user for years and then the price skyrocketed. I found GoToMyPC, which seems like basically the same platform and possibly the same corporate ownership. However, GoToMyPC pricing was back to what I was used to. But now several years in to GoToMyPC the pricing continues to goes us. All I truly need in a product like this is the ability to access my desktop and print to either my printer at work or at home. With other remote software we have had trouble with remote printing and getting the print setting correct. Pros We use GoToMyPC to remotely manage our retail store system. It makes it easy to login when the staff is having a problem with balancing the register or invoicing. We can login see the what they are doing & walk through the process with them. We also use it to update inventory. Cons Cost. We are a small business & I wish they would have better pricing for small businesses. Pros the simplicity of logging into my desktop anywhere in the world for sensitive software that should remain on my desktop. Also the ability to send a control alt delete command remotely and to access my desktop via the app on my iphone. It also allows me to access both screens on my home pc by toggling left and right. I put in a request today but it is a very minor issue for me. Cons I would like the abiility to fix the remote access to one of my two screens on my hope computer when I want to access remotely on my laptop using the software. I felt like I was living at my office too much, and was missing life at home with my family. Now, with GoToMyPC, I can put my kids to bed or have dinner with my wife, and then spend 1-2 hours using GoToMyPC to connect to my law office from my home office and have access to everything I would need -- it looks, feels and operates exactly like you are sitting at your law office desk. It's wonderful technology which allows me to use my time MUCH more efficiently, and allows me to respond to client emergencies by logging in from home -- instead of driving back to my office at night or during the middle of my valuable weekends. The convenience and remote access is invaluable! Pros This is by far the best software that my small law office owns. I am not tech-savvy, and I still don't understand how it exactly works, but when I log in to GoToMyPC from my home office and connect to my law office, my law office computer screen "takes over" my home office computer -- it's as if I'm sitting at my law office desk while I'm actually in my living room, or on vacation, or anywhere in the world. You have immediate and complete access to your entire office network -- all files, emails and ability to print at your office or at home. This saves me so much time -- I can work late at night or on a weekend morning from HOME, instead of at my office. I can retrieve a file or send an email to address a client emergency as if I was sitting at my office desk -- but I could be on vacation, or at a conference, or at home getting access due to GoToMyPC. I have been using GTMPC for many years, with no complaints. I use this program from my office in Mexico to the US, with no problems. I highly recommend this company. Pros What I like most about GTMPC, is the easy accessiblity from my home PC or my cell phone. Cons The only thing I dont like, is that GTMPC is not compatible to all computers. I can use a basic computer anywhere and log in to my work computer and have at my fingertips everything I need without leaving data on the guest computer Pros This product has allowed my partner and myself to work from the host computer or a guest computer anywhere we want and need to. We truly would be forever lost with out this product and would not be able to have satellite offices with out it. I would recommend this to anyone who works outside a stationary office location. You will LOVE it! Cons It seems like if I get a new printer I will have to uninstall and reinstall the software to get the connection. But there are none. Loging in is easy, setting up additional users is easy, connections always work. Pros My company has an operational center in Hawaii, as well as a home office on a different Hawaiian island and one in California. We also have a few remote workers. GoToMyPC is essential for the right people to be able to access the same central computer. Cons We cross train all staff, but adding everyone as a seat to GoToMyPC would make it expensive when some people might only need to fill in for a team member for a little while.
