We appreciate the ease of use, the remote access, and the accessible customer service. There is so much out there that you can never talk to a human, and GoToMyPC is amazing in so many ways, including the human connection to our high technology! Pros I love that I can always access my computer from anywhere! I do not have many problems or connectivity issues and when I do, I can get someone on the phone to help me quickly. Everyone is knowledgeable about troubleshooting and friendly. I've been using it for over 10 years and it's ease and dashboard is wonderful and easy. Cons There's not much I can say. There have been every few times that I have to call customer support - usually it's an update that I need to make- and everyone is helpful. Saves a lot of time and great that it can be used on any device. You can use your own passwords or let it generate strong passwords for you. Also like that you can complete your information and when you need to fill in a form you can with just one click. Cons The cost of it has gone up considerably since the company changed hands. I've had some connection issues, but it's usually the result of our office Wi-Fi. My daughter works as my assistant for the same company. We are the only two employees allowed to work remotely from home. I'm grateful that GoToMyPC has allowed me the vehicle to have this dream job. In the four years I've been using GoToMyPC, I haven't once had to contact customer support for any issues. Pros GoToMyPC gives me complete access to my office computer working remotely on my laptop from home, hotels while traveling or visiting family. I especially appreciate being able to print remotely to my office printer! Cons The annual cost for two computers is quite costly! It would be helpful to have a monthly subscription. The platform is stable and does exactly what I need. Pros What I like most about GoToMyPC is that since I have basically become bedridden because of stage 4 cancer, GoToMyPC has allowed me to continue to do most of my work remotely from home and literally from my bed. I have an office manager on site, but there are some functions of the company that he is still unable to do at this point. This allows me to continue to move my business forward and have complete control over my finances without disrupting the everyday business of my office manager. Cons Honestly, the only thing I don't like is the cost. I started with LogMeIn and was a loyal user for years and then the price skyrocketed. I found GoToMyPC, which seems like basically the same platform and possibly the same corporate ownership. However, GoToMyPC pricing was back to what I was used to. But now several years in to GoToMyPC the pricing continues to goes us. All I truly need in a product like this is the ability to access my desktop and print to either my printer at work or at home. GoToMyPC has all the features I need to work remotely and is less expensive that TeamViewer, which continues to raise their prices every year and squeeze out the small business. Cons Price for one PC has gone up, but it is still affordable for now. As a small business, I was squeezed out of the TeamViewer product by the large percentage increase in price year-over-year these past few years. Always connects and stays connected. Excellent for screen sharing. I would like to see better pricing for small businesses that have multiple computers we could use this on. Unfortunately though we just have to use Remote Desktop and a vpn to access the other computers and the other person can't really see what is happening. Pros The ease of logging in is great! It always works well and not too glitchy despite connecting from different locations that do not always have the best interenet. Cons The price is a bit high in my opinion. Removes any question about originality of file. Pros This software allows me to use my remote computer just like i was sitting in front of it. Cons There are two issues i have with the software at this time. Issue one has to do with the software changing the resolution of the remoter computer's screen every time I remote into the unit. I have to manually reset the resolution in order to be able to work on the remote computer.Second issue has to to do with being able to reconnect if I get timed out for non-use. There are times when I cannot reconnect without restarting the remote computer, which if there is no one there to do so, I cannot use the remote computer at all until there is a restart. It's as if you were actually in front of the remote computer. In the past 11 years of use, I can honestly say I've had minimal issues and have been extremely satisfied with technical support and the willingness of the customer service personnel to "make things right". To me that's caring about your customers and that makes all the difference with customer loyalty. Pros I have used this service since 2012 and it has evolved to serve me in so many capacities. I initially used it for remote access capability to manage my business and then subsequently to assist my elderly mother with her financial affairs. Excellent product and customer service. Cons Connectivity was sometimes an issue as was the speed of responsiveness, but this typically was resolved with a reboot and re-connection.
