Pros

I've used GoToMyPC for years to enable me to work when and where I want, whether at home or travelling. Running my own small law office is simplified when I can work in or out of the office with equal ease. I have even accessed my files in Indiana from a hotel in London (England, not Kentucky!)

Cons

Merging and swapping files between host computer and remote user is sometimes confusing. I would like to be able to enlarge the host display to full size on the remote screen.

I've been using GoToMyPC for many years now. I was introduced to it by my IT team when I was doing a lot of work from home in the early 2000's and had to access my work computer. It worked great and was free! I came back to it recently when I needed to connect to my elderly parents' computers. I didn't have time to research free options, so I purchased this. I'm happy with it, but wish it were still free.

Pros

Easy to use, reliable, and works well.

Cons

Price. I am an individual user, and this product is expensive for me.

Cons

Sometimes can be slow to logon and the drag and drop to download function does not seem to work as well when using MAC computers

The most important feature is the ease of access to my work computer by phone and laptop from various locations around the western US and even overseas.

Cons

As far as I can tell, Gotomypc has all the features I need to practice law remotely so there is nothing to like least.

It must be because I have stayed on it for over 13 years.

Pros

Two major reasons I use GTMPC.1) It makes it so I can get to my desktop from any computer. Not just one that has been loaded to go into our system. I go to different business locations during my day and don't have to carry my laptop. Sometimes I go to a location expecting to spend five minutes and it turns into hours. I have a hot desk and use GTMPC to dial in. 2) I have nothing on my laptop when I do take it, such as for travel out of the country and if I lose the laptop or it gets stolen, they get nothing. My laptop has nothing of value in memory and I buy cheaper laptops but top of the line desktop computers which are less expensive. With the 2 factor authentication, even if they get my password and my laptop, thieves got nothing.

Cons

The gotomypc app on my Iphone is unusable.

Pros

Allows working from home with reliable & easy interface. If I'm not in the office I can easily respond & connect to help others work thru a problem. Have been using this for years and highly recommend this product.

Cons

I haven't observed anything I would change except maybe the disconnect time could be easier to change when remote. The warning gives a countdown but it would be awesome to have a drop down menu to allow you to choose to extend from there.

It makes it easy to move files to whatever computer I want (that I have registered) from wherever I am in the world.

Cons

Frustration when I can't access a computer (not their fault; usually due to some problem on my computer's end). Also the price has been getting higher by the year.

I am a therapist and was unaware of products that could allow me to interface with my work computer while at home. I used to print and take home a copy of my AR daily since I have my Filemaker software on my work computer. This has made my life so much easier.

Goto print seems to create a conflict when we use MS-office. I had to tun off that function.

GOTOMYPC allows me to manage my practice remotely regardless of where I might be.

Pros

I have been using GOTOMYPC for over 15 years. It has evolved into the best remote access software on the market for small business users, IMO. As a solo medical practitioner I needed access to my files from anywhere at any time to be able to do my work. Excellent value and function.

Cons

There are times when logging in has been a challenge because I forgot my password. Not a big deal, but perhaps there might be an easier way to reset or retrieve passwords.
