Pros

I like that it is easy to learn and search. I also like the security features available. i.e. not everyone can access/ edit tickets.

Cons

It is sometimes hard to locate past tickets and tools. Workboards are confusing. There is also no easy way to locate IT related concerns via JIRA itself.

Pros

The workflows are highly customizable in Jira. Every team can design their own process with specific statues, transitions, and rules.

Cons

The interface is overwhelming, setting up boards, workflows, and permissions takes time and often require admin experience.

My overall experience with Jira has been awesome. I used Jira in multiple projects and I prefer Jira over the other similar tools available in the market. The APIs from Jira offer a great flexibility to integrate with automation code. I will recommend Jira to manage and plan your work.

Pros

Jira offers a lot of great features specially the end to end application life cycle management. Integration with test case management tools like ATM, Xray, Zephyr offer a great flexibility and options to manage test cases, execution and planning. I liked the Dashboard widget options and ease to create custom queries with Jira. The charts and trend give a lot of good insight into the project.

Cons

I worked on many other tools similar to Jira but Jira is the best tool I liked. I don't find anything which I don't like about Jira. However, there were few times when I had to do some workaround to create the test execution reports but that's not a concern.

Globalement satisfait par ce logiciel de ticketing qui se montre flexible en fonction des utilisateurs et des besoins. C'est pas le plus économique, mais l'adaptabilité a un coût.. L'interface est très austère et mériterait un coup de fresh pour en faire un outil plis attractif.

It is very reliable and allows me to create tickets and subtasks to allow me to keep track of my issues.

Pros

I like the ability to assign tasks to multiple users and comments. It makes it easier to manage sprints,prioritize work and stay on top of deadlines,which improves overall productivity and collaboration.

Cons

I have nothing to complain about the software.

Easy to open and follow a ticket from beginning to resolution. I liked the ability to search similar issues and find solutions that may have been more difficult using tribal knowledge

Pros

Jira made it easy to submit and follow a ticket. Adding information or followers to the ticket was simple.

Cons

It was difficult for us to tie tickets together (similar/same/recurring issues). Having this would have made it super easy to track/tie issues

We have found jira a really powerful tool and we've been able to utilise it not only for our technical teams but also for our Marketing team as well as managing renewals.

Pros

Jira is a great tool for managing and coordinating work streams across different teams, it is highly flexible and customisable but also out of the box it provides a great way to visualise and track ongoing and completed work.

Cons

Although highly customisable there is quite a lot going on within the interface so initially it can be a bit overwhelming.

I use it for about 6-7 years and it sill gets better. JIRA is a pioneer in the product management filed. You can use different solution, but JIRA is the most frequently chosen tool.

Pros

Comprehensive sets of tools every Product Owner / Product Manager needs. Professional, frequently updated, solid tool to manage stories/tasks/bugs and so on. In brief summary: - Task fields customization - Integration with BitBucket (I can easily see what task has been deployed to stage/prod, and what needs to be deployed) - Integration to slack/google chat that alerts me when deployment has crashed - Timesheet integration to manage hours spent on a given task - Confluence integration, where we set our working agreement document, and knowledge base

Cons

Sometimes crash or gets slow, but it happens veeery occasionally. So don't take it as a real disadvantage

Pros

Jira is state of the art, they integrated an AI assistant which has bee very helpful in filling out the content of tickets. This allows the team to quickly create fully filled out tickets following a good style.

Cons

The sheer amount if data is overwheleming and requires a full time person just to keep jira organized. The AI feature helps but I think it can be furtger automated

Pros

Flexibility and customisability. Every story, bug or task can be tracked in granular details with labels and priorities.

Cons

It can be complex sometimes and UI is cluttered. With large projects, performance can be slow, especially in older versions.

You can get way too Many Notifications. The default notification settings can flood your inbox unless fine-tuned.

Perfect! Jira is super useful for us and make us gain a loooot of time.

Pros

We use Jira DAILY to manage our “tickets” for tasks and requests made internally, it's super useful for keeping everything tracked, organized and clear, so we don't miss a thing. The flexibility and customization of the workflows is great, and Jira's usefulness is undeniable in our work and a pillar of our organization.

Cons

I don't have much to say about it, you can always improve a product but I have no idea what Jira is doing wrong.

Overall this is a great tool for managing development. It does take a lot of resources to set up and then maintain. It could definitely be simplified.

Pros

Keeps track of all development work and bug reports, which are then categorised across different boards and function.

Cons

The search function does not work that well all the time. I find it easy to lose tickets lose overview of all the issues I'm working on.

At the beggining it felt like a lot to figure out, but once I got the hang of it, it became my to-to for managin tasks, sprints and bugs.

Pros

It's insanely powerful for keeping track of most complex projects. Once everything is set up, you've got full visibility of what's going on, what's due and who is doing what.

Cons

It has a big learning curve. It's not very intuitive at first.

If you're in the Atlassian ecosystem, it's convenient to use. If you're not, and looking for a project management tool - there are many other options that are likely better for the price. Purchasing Jira separately to me only makes sense for small businesses with less than 10 users on it's lowest plan.

Pros

I was on an Enterprise plan via Atlassian, and didn't have the highest expectations for Jira - but I learned to love it. The UI isn't the greatest, but it's not bad for the price. Functionality-wise it's not far off from an Asana in terms of tagging and timelines. I like how they took from Confluence's UI to in the boards to help visualize tasks better.

Cons

It's just not enjoyable to use, and your project management tool is something you need to enjoy using everyday. I think it's the UI. It feels cold. Everything is easy to use because it's natural UI, but it's not fun to use and my team agrees.

We actually started with Jira in the marketing team, and decided to switch to Asana completely. I still needed to use Jira though, because I was part of the product team who used it as well. Jira is an excellent tool to manage agile projects, manage team's tasks, test and log bugs etc.

Pros

Easy project management, allows collaboration, sprint management, issue tracking and reporting

Cons

When moving one ticket to another project, we sometimes love some data that was available in custom fields, such as acceptance criteria. This can be found in history, but to re-add you need to reformat etc.
