Pros Jira has great project tracking and management features and is quite customizable. The agile boards make work management and sprint tracking easy, and the interaction with other programs like Confluence and Bitbucket is flawless. In addition to that, we can design intricate workflows that are particular to the needs of the company. Cons Particularly for new users, the learning curve can be quite hard. Because there are so many features and options accessible, the UI might occasionally feel overwhelming and take time to get familiar with. When I worked as a Travel Manager, we used it to handle business trip and visa requests and to keep track of their progress. Now, as a QA Engineer, I use Jira for test management and tracking issues on all my projects. It’s been really helpful and flexible for both admin and technical tasks. Pros Jira is easy to use and has many helpful features and paid add-ons to help with project management and time tracking. Also, the free plan is very cool. Pros The aspects about JIRA which I like the most are as follows: 1) Due to the customization that it provides, whenever the Service Team or Production Team registers a CPI case or ticket, they need to give the exact details of the problem/issue in the product along with the supporting documents like images, which thus defines the problem in great detail. 2) Another very useful feature is the feature of linking one CPI case to another CPI case as there may be cases when there are some dependencies or sometimes solving one CPI case may automatically solve the other CPI. So, all these cases can be handled perfectly. 3) It helps in tracking the status of each CPI ticket and allows me to put comments to ask any clarifying questions. We can also assign any participants if we need help from other engineers. Cons I don't have much to dislike about JIRA but one thing which I feel can be improved is its user interface. I understand that because of having a rich feature base, it is quite complex but if the user interface is somewhat simplified, it will help quite a lot of new engineers or users who are assigned CPI cases on JIRA.
