The integration with confluence is quiet helpful to create documentation. Cons Exporting data from JIRA for reporting is challenging. I'm an Atlas sian certified administrator. Pros I've used jira for over 20 years and it's solidly designed as an effective issue tracker. It's highly customisable so you can model almost any work flow. It's specially designed for agile software development but isn't limited to that use and can be tuned to other workloads. Cons Despite many years of development Atlas sian has never managed to fully decentralise administration so you'll always need a, knowledgeable jira admin team to manage your instance and set up things like shared work flows, issue types screens, Web hooks etc. Review Source CG Cesar G.
