### "Hervorragendes Projektmanagementtool, das viele andere Tools ersetzt"

November 7, 2025

5.0

Pros

\- Hervorragendes Projektmanagementtool - Riesiger Funktionsumfang - Umfangreiche Automationen - Sehr gut skalierbar - Bildet selbst komplexteste Vorgänge ab - Viele Erweiterungen und Integrationen verfügbar - Browserversion und mobile Apps sehr gut - Sehr gute Vernetzung mit Confluence - Kostenlos für kleine Teams

Cons

### "JIra is a Best of Class Tool for Managing Agile Development and Product Delivery"

November 18, 2025

5.0

Overall my experience is with Jira is very satisfactory. It is easy to use and easy to learn the navigational skills with the software. It is one of a few best of class applications used by Agile development professionals and product delivery teams.

Pros

Jira is a great product for creating, tracking, and moving product development activities from ideation to production. Jira supports Agile frameworks such as Kanban and Scrum. Its strength is on allowing dispersed teams to collaborate on requirements, development, testing, and release of software and product stories (items that define a specific need or function within a product or system). The functionality is easy to use and generally easy to configure and administer. Jira supports attachment of documents, diagrams, workflow elements, etc. that support the delivery of the required functionality. It is also generally easy to connect Jira to various other tools used for project management and for movement of code and configuration from development, to test, to production environments. Jira integrates well with Continuous Development/Continuous Delivery tools used within DevOps environments. Jira provides excellent value for the money to teams that need to work collaboratively, efficiently, and within large-scale development structures where maintaining Agile workflows are inherently important. Custom support for Jira is well suited to provide a higher level of support to administrators, regardless of the size of the enterprise. There is also widespread user experience and feedback available through various forums.

Cons

Although the reporting within Jira supports the general tracking of work status and development and release cycle metrics, it does not natively support many of the metrics/KPI reporting required for project oversight or executive information analysis. It is necessary to either download data in a raw format to analyze using a spreadsheet application, or to extract the data into a business intelligence or visual reporting application to format and present meaningful metrics and KPI information. However, this is also typically necessary for other competing software, so Jira is not uniquely disadvantaged in this respect.

### "Manufacturing, QA, and Cost Tracking using Jira."

April 19, 2026

5.0

Overall my experience with Jira is good. It helps in organizing work like ticket creation for reagent manufacturing, change order process, and QA report tracking. It improves communication between departments and keeps record of all activities. It is also cost effective for managing multiple workflows and gives some support in tracking invoicing-related tasks when linked with processes. But it can be improved by making it more user-friendly.

Pros

I like that Jira helps to track all the tasks in one place. It is very useful for creating tickets related to manufacturing of reagent of clinical chemistry buffer. Also it is easy to follow up on change orders for documents and to manage QA report procurement for lyo beads. The workflow system helps to assign tasks and monitor progress clearly between different teams.

Cons

Sometimes Jira is little complex to use, especially for new users. The interface can feel confusing and takes time to understand. Also creating or updating tickets can be time consuming when there are many required fields.

### "Software per la gestione dei progetti completo"

April 20, 2026

4.0

### "The industry standard for dev teams: incredibly powerful but sometimes overwhelmed"

April 28, 2026

4.0

I'd give it a solid 4 stars. It is the industry standard for a reason, and for managing software development sprints with multiple teams, it does exactly what it needs to do. However, I can't give it 5 stars because the clunky UI and occasional slowness hold it back from being perfect. Honestly, it is absolute overkill for a tiny team or a simple to-do list. But once you finally get through the painful setup process, it actually keeps massive projects organized and stops bugs from falling through the cracks

Pros

The biggest advantage is how customizable the workflows are. If your team has a specific or unusual process, you can map it out exactly. I really rely on the integrations with Confluence and GitHub - it’s incredibly helpful to see code commits or doc pages linked directly to a ticket so I don't have to go digging around. The drag-and-drop Kanban and Scrum boards make running our daily standups much easier and keep everyone on the same page.

Cons

It is incredibly heavy and sometimes feels slow. Taking seconds just to load a single ticket or update a status gets annoying when you are in a rush. Jira will completely flood your inbox with useless notification emails.

### "Once a leader in Agile planning, now at the bottom of the AI foodchain"

December 15, 2025

2.0

The company was doing everything right 4 years ago. Since then, it has clearly pivoted in the completely wrong direction and has started to produce a very poor quality product.

Pros

Jira is a straight-forward product for product planning. It originally ticked off all the features I could possibly want for agile methodology development flows. Users can be managed via third party integrations, and boards are easy to design

Cons

The company has leaned heavily into AI without first polishing existing features. There is a lot of core functionality missing, and a lot of it feels very low quality, yet the main thing they are producing are AI chatbots to provide poor quality summaries of tickets.

### "Great product once you get used to it"

November 10, 2025

4.0

Overall, my experience was excellent. The majority of the time I was working with Epix, which allowed me to create tickets and point and color code and create an easy view for my team. It was difficult at times when I was looking for historical data and metrics for each Engineer. You have to learn its own clearing language, but it wasn’t too bad.

Pros

I genuinely appreciated the work that went in to making project boards understandable and easy to work with. I could color code and see the scope of work for each engineer and for each project.

Cons

Querying can be difficult and often I wasn’t seeing all of the historical work for an engineer that I thought I should be.

### "Important task management software"

April 9, 2026

5.0

Certainly a positive experience. Working on team projects has become easier to understand and progress, lowering the chances of costly mistakes. The price point of the software is also respecable.

Pros

Jira has been an incredible platform to use to keep on top of tasks. Whilst the business grows, so does the workload. keeping on top of what needs doing and having lives updates makes this more manageable.

Cons

The user interface was certainly a barriers to overcome. When first using this sight the ease of use was very hard to understand, and became a bit overwhelming.

### "Powerful project tool, steep learning curve and a bit heavy"

April 8, 2026

4.0

Overall it’s a powerful tool that improved how we manage projects and tasks. Took a while to set up and learn, but once configured it reduced a lot of manual work and made collaboration clearer. Not perfect for very small teams, but for engineering and product teams it’s been a big help.

Pros

I like that Jira can be shaped to match our process. Backlogs, sprints, boards, and JQL make tracking work easy. The audit trail and history are great when you need to see who changed what. It really helps teams stay aligned.

Cons

The UI can feel clunky and overloaded. Setting up workflows and permissions is confusing and takes time. Performance slows down when you have huge projects or many apps. Also some useful things are only in paid tiers or via plugins.

### "THE tool for project tracking"

October 2, 2025

5.0

I used Jira for nearly five years in two different roles across 10 years. The capabilities it attained in that time enabled not only our marketing team, but all other teams in the company to plan, track, and ultimately achieve the goals of the projects set out for us.

Pros

Jira is THE tool for project management. From tracking each step in a one off project to mapping each piece of an massive undertaking, Jira does an excellent job of helping you stay on top of the tasks you're tackling and sharing the progress you've made.

Cons

Jira, as with any project management tool, isn't without its bugs and quirks. But these are generally outweighed by ultimate benefits of the tool. It isn't the easiest to jump right into, but with a little time creating projects and working with your team, it comes quickly enough.

### "Solid Agile Tool with Some Rigidity"

September 25, 2025

3.0

Overall, my experience with Jira has been positive but mixed. For simple Scrum or Kanban setups, it’s quick and easy to get started. For SAFe, the tool works well, but it requires a lot of setup and administrative work to configure it properly.

Pros

Jira is very effective for teams working with SAFe, Scrum, or Kanban. It keeps everyone notified thanks to detailed history and notifications, which helps with transparency and collaboration. Integrations are smooth — for example, connecting it with TestRail was straightforward and very useful.

Cons

Jira can feel rigid when you need to work outside of its predefined structures. Setting it up in a corporate environment requires significant configuration and can be time-consuming compared to the single-user version, which is much simpler. The rigidity may also limit flexibility for teams that are used to rapidly changing processes.

Pros

### "Complete package for development team"

January 21, 2026

5.0

Overall JiRa is one of the best tool for a team to manage a project as well as breaking down that project into doable tasks and then assign and distribute among the team.

Pros

I love the UX of software that is easy to understand from a technical person to even a but leas technical people like project managers or product owners etc.

Cons

The hierarchy of Jira is sometimes hard to understand like if there is user story and under that there are multiple cards ans so on. Sometimes if we try to complete a sprint its hard to tack down which one child task is not complete.

### "Sophistication begets complexity"

March 26, 2026

5.0

I have used Jira both as an administrator of my own projects and also as an end-user. It seems to be beloved by the IT community, whereas not so beloved by the project management community. Depending on how much time you have to set it up, it can be a great solution for project management, but with heavy lifting to configure it into a productive place.

Pros

Highly customizable, great for collaboration, great for project management, great for gathering project data and managing timeline adherence

Cons

The customize ability of the platform can often times lend itself to complexity that may not be warranted, depending on your project.

### "Jira Review"

December 9, 2025

5.0

My overall experience with Jira has been exceptional. It’s very easy to manage leads within the platform and if you’re collaborating with your sales team or even with other departments, it’s way easier and more flexible to collaborate, manage projects and manage tasks. With Scrum Boards, we are able to break down massive projects into manageable chunks of work and this helps the team become more efficient. This has been a game changer for us and the main reason I love using Jira

Pros

What I love the most about Jira is that you can consolidate tools between departments and the Sales, Marketing, HR and Operations Teams can use the same platform in the different departments. This makes it easy to collaborate between departments and helps with tool consolidation which saves costs as well.

Cons

I haven’t found anything I do not like about Jira so far. Jira has served its purpose without any major challenges

### "Jira is easy to use and customizable!"

February 12, 2026

5.0

I use Jira almost daily, its very easy to create new tickets, new epics, keep organized, and communicated efficiently on tickets. The customization has been very helpful for our team as well.

Pros

Jira offers a lot of different features and layouts making it easy to use and see. I love that you link or relate tickets, create different Kanban boards and customize the fields within them.

Cons

Sometimes you can get lost in the different menu views. Otherwise I think its a really nice platform.

There are tons of PPM tools in the market, but Jira is my favorite. I like that it allocate robust team collaboration, project coordination and task management tools unlike any other alternative that I am currently using.

Cons

### "Gets the Job Done"

September 2, 2025

5.0

Overall, Jira is a very effective project management tool. It’s not the cheapest option, but the value for money is clear once you start using it for team collaboration and project tracking. After the initial learning curve, it becomes an essential part of daily work.

Pros

Jira is great for keeping projects organised and transparent. The boards, task tracking, and reporting features make it much easier to manage deadlines and collaborate with the team. It definitely adds value by saving time and reducing confusion in projects.

Cons

The interface can be somewhat complex for new users, and it takes some time to become familiar with all its features. Customisation is powerful but sometimes requires more technical know-how than expected.

### "Jira - ticketing system and project management tool"

February 2, 2026

4.0

My team mostly uses Jira for our communication with our product & engineering team as a ticketing system whenever we have some technical issue and we also use it as a ticketing system with our respondents (if any issue arises, especially regarding incentives). It's useful to track tickets, change their status (completed, in progress, captured, etc.), follow up, and receive notifications.

Pros

A tool that is simple to use for cross-team collaboration through tickets. Easy to follow up, track the status of the ticket, exchange any necessary documents (files, images, videos, recordings, etc.) Our product team also uses it to create a dashboard with all current and upcoming projects that they are working on and where they give updates on their progress (it's easy to follow and log new tasks).

Cons

Everything seems to be fine, nothing that I would dislike. The interface (mostly the dashboards) are sometimes not very intuitively easy to understand though.

### "Great Tool for Project Management"

March 11, 2026

4.0

Overall it's been great, it has allowed me to have a seamless workflow with a large multinational team. I use it with clients, and it's one of the best project management tools I've used. My favorite feature is the kanban board, best way to keep everything visually organized.

Pros

It's a great tool for keeping track of projects and collaborate with teams remotely. For project management, the possibility of customization allows for a tailored experience that best suits the entire team. It allows me to keep my own workflow organized while clearly communicating with the client the project status by just updating the necessary fields.

Cons

It can be a bit hard to use at first, it has a somewhat steep learning curve, and as someone who isn't the admin, a lot of the fields are redundant or irrelevant to me, but they can create a bit of visual clutter. It doesn't make it impossible to use, but it has its challenges.

### "The standard for software development but difficult to customize"

May 1, 2026

4.0

Jira is the industry standard for software development teams to keep track of projects and issues. As long as it is initially configured correctly, then it scales and works completely fine. There's so much customization you can do to almost every single field, issue, project, view, or board. The integration list of apps is very large but do be prepare to pay for it as most apps are billed to your existing Jira user count.

Pros

Super common, popular, and almost industry standard project management and issue tracking platform for software development teams. Workflows are fully customizable as well as almost every field, issue type, views, boards, etc. There's also a huge Atlassian marketplace of apps available. Native integrations with GitHub and other Atlassian suite apps. You can also get really granular with access control permissions at the project and issue level.

Cons

Because Jira is so customizable, there is a really steep learning curve to configure everything. And because permissions can be very granular it can a little difficult to track down access issues to spaces, projects, and issues. You almost need a dedicated Jira only administrator for large teams/businesses for it to run and maintain correctly. Marketplace apps come at an additional cost and is billed per every Jira user you have.
