It is natively built to handle sprint and development architecture. Cons It can be a clunky interface if you're project management needs are simple. Filtering isn't as user friendly as I'd like. It is a really nice way of keeping track of tickets, and I like how it's a single source of truth when combined with Confluence. Cons Some of the user interface can be confusing at times. Be able to create multiple EPICS and assign tickets to people is a really handy tool. The more important is that we had all the required information in a single place and when we need an update about a particular issue we can jump directly into the ticket and get the update. Pros Jira is our project management software of preference. We use jira to track progress, comments, and time. Every day we use the boards in the stand-up and it's the more useful tool for us. Cons Jira is designed for SW development and not for system administration. so some times the product does not fit much to us especially for manage incidents. I know that is not a task for Jira. I wouldn't consider this to be a tool to be used by Marketing and/or Demand Gen teams. Pros I liked the ability to use Jira as a project tracker and efficiently update issues via email. Cross-channel collaboration was also extremely useful in Jira. Cons As a marketer, I didn't find the software to be terribly intuitive. It has all the track record of when and what task I did so I can easily manage my daily work. Cons In Jira, it provides the clockify compatibility to manage the time sheet of working on tasks.
