Molte funzioni utili richiedono espressamente servizi e pagamenti aggiuntivi.

### "Great Tool for Agile Product development "

June 12, 2021

5.0

I have a beautiful experience with the tool. I use it for Maintaining and managing the Product backlog, Managing the sprint backlog, and plan sprints in advance. Their reporting also helps manage the task assignment properly.

Pros

Jira closely represents most of the agile frameworks for product development. I like the fact that it can inherit the concepts of Agility Out of the Box and most of the effort need to be invested in following the governance rather than force-fitting in the tool Their integration with some of the road mapping tools is also very smooth. I use product board to Jira integration which works like a charm

Cons

Sometimes their workflow can get very complex and that can be very difficult to manage the issues in the platform. Sometimes I feel that there should be harder governance in the sprint execution which will force no change after the sprint has started

### "Great issue tracker and project management tool"

December 31, 2020

5.0

I am using Jira for several years since I started working and I completely love the way where we can track all our efforts and the progress. It gives better insights for the higher management which makes it easier for them to manage projects and allocate resources accordingly.

Pros

We have multiple projects running in the company and there are different teams working on these projects. So,Jira helps us to keep a track of all the running projects and track issues and manage those projects. We can easily keep a track of the features and the issues which are being currently worked on and what is the progress of the issues being worked on. We use Jira for all the project management and for planning out the sprints. There are many charts like Gantt chart and Kanban which helps to track the progress of the project.

Cons

The mobile application for Jira is not that great and it is a little bit of laggy sometimes and the UI also could be much better. Apart from this the pages on Jira should auto refresh when a change has been made. Whenever some change has been made it just gives a warning or instruction to refresh the page to reflect those changes.

### "JIRA is the best project planning and organising tool"

November 27, 2019

5.0

My overall experience is excellent, it is the best project management software ever. I have used a few others in the past, but there is none that can compete with JIRA. with a integration of slack, confluence, it is very hard to refuse.

Pros

1\. It is very flexible and fitted really well with agile development work. whether you are using kanban or standard sprint planning work flow, it supports all of those. 2. It is extremely useful to do project planning and creating stories, they will be saved in backlogs and you can access them with weight, estimate and priority. 3. It is quick to create a bug ticket to track bugs. 4. It is very easy to plan for a new sprint, by adding task, stories from the backlogs, it helps with the total points you want to target for a particular sprint, it automatically sum up the story points and make sure you don't over plan. 5. great report tool to help you analyse the project completion and nice burn down chart as well. To help the team retrospectively go back and review.

Cons

1\. It is a big over complex by providing such flexible functionalities. But it is worth the time and learning curve. 2. As a developer, I don't have to pay the bill. But it is not very cheap if you have a large development team, the bills add up quickly.

Reason for choosing Jira

very simple task track tool, it probably helps a small agency project that would be completed in a couple months time. With large and complex projects, or bigger development teams, JIRA is the best option out there on the market right now.

### "You've got to try this."

July 15, 2021

5.0

I really think these guys "live and breathe" this stuff. No, I dont work for them and they're not paying me - in fact this review is free, and I'm happy to give it to these folks. Not only is it a great product, if you need their support, you'll quickly see they very much enjoy helping their customers out and they are true believers in this software's abilities - and they are RIGHT.

Pros

Seriously, where do i begin on this one? Project management? Help desk? This system makes it look easy. If they haven't thought of it, dont worry - they have a marketplace with add-ons by independent developers .. you're going to solve your project management / help-desk / ticketing / stuffyouhaventeventhoughtof problems with this one.

Cons

There are so many features, so much to try out that at first, it can be a bit of an overload. Just stay focused, start simple, and grow into the more advanced features and add-ons.

### "Better way collaborate and build products"

March 9, 2023

4.0

As we started with Jira in the early days, It's a best and simple to use tool, that provides many features like status updates, scrum management using kanban boards, advanced permission, sharing and collaboration features, it easily integrates with other tools, But as we grow it's lacking many features and it's harder to make us of it for advanced usecases, So we reviewed and switched to other alternate product.

Pros

Jira is simple to use with minimum options for tracking the bugs and tasks, it's easier to collaborate and build better products with status updates and integrate it with other third party software, It's a major top tool in the agile process.

Cons

It's UI is old and needs to be updated, Jira is not an advanced tool compared to its alternatives like ClickUp, and Trello. Only few many features it's not an recommended tool for an advanced software building teams.

### "A Popular Bug-tracking & Project Management Tool"

June 26, 2023

5.0

We were using Jira as the bug tracking tool for a long time. Recently, we started using Jira for our sprint tracking as well. Jira supports Agile & hence it is easier to view & update backlogs. The Agile dashboard is divided in 3-column format which is very intuitive.

Pros

\-Versatile application that keeps evolving. -Jira has plenty of add-ons. We have integrated Jira with Confluence Wikis & TestRail.-Dashboards can be customized by the users as per their need to effectively track tasks, bugs or project milestones.-Assigning tasks to the team members and tracking the hours spent on tickets helps us in creating detailed reports & also to make better business decisions.

Cons

Bulk updates are a nightmare- Jira takes a lot of time in performing bulk updates & also in populating bulk results.Jira has a learning curve. Product requires formal trainings for both the users & the administrator.

### "A mature product for workflow management of a ticket."

June 26, 2022

4.0

Overall experience with Jira has been fantastic. It is nearly a perfect product for task/ issue/ ticket management which provides an end-to-end workflow and effort logging.

Pros

Jira is one of the simplest to use, issue tracking software with a smooth and user-friendly UI. It tracks every step of a ticket with its well-defined workflow. One of the most useful features is that, for every status change or for every comment, it triggers a mail to the people tagged with the ticket. It helps the project teams to maintain a software life-cycle and is handy in agile methodologies. The reporting feature of Jira is reliable for retrospective review.

Cons

Jira does not have an auto-refresh feature. The user has to refresh the page and check for the latest update on a Jira ticket. The search function could be made better in case the user does a typo in the search bar.

### "Helpful agile tool once you get past the steep learning curve"

July 29, 2021

3.0

It took me a long time to fully understand how to use JIRA, but having used it since 2013, I can say that it is a complex but robust tool. I've set up over 15 teams with custom workflows, boards, and backlogs. It can do a lot, but in an agile space, sometimes the simplest solutions are the best. If you need to manage complex workflows or large scaled projects, JIRA is helpful for that.

Pros

JIRA is a robust tool for agile project management with seemingly endless possibilities for customization thanks to the Atlassian Marketplace. Once someone is familiar with how the complex administrative side works, setting up new workflows customized to a team's needs is quite doable.

Cons

There's a reason some organizations have full-time JIRA administrators. Setting up JIRA is not for the faint of heart. There's a lot of moving pieces in constructing workflows, setting user roles, and administrating sprints.

### "Satisfied with some drawbacks"

July 8, 2022

5.0

If you do not want to use the build in default processes, you can customize jira into nearly any project workflow structure. But this takes some time and has a steep learning curve.

Pros

It is a beautiful tool for teams of almost any scale to plan and manage the software development process. The tool is highly customizable, to fit in almost every team structure

Cons

Sadly there's still no dark mode. Also the performance could be better, especially if you use some third party tools which is for many use cases required as they improve many features, e.g. time tracking, or the bigger picture of your project

Reason for choosing Jira

At that time, JetBrains did not offer any documentation suite. So the very well integration between Jira for project management, and Confluence for project documentation was the main aspect to switch

### "Software doesn't make you agile, but Jira supports as best as a software can"

June 7, 2021

5.0

Like I said in the title. A software doesnt make you agile. But with Jira we can try out a lot and adapt our workingstyle in almost every way we want. When we want to change rules, workflows or try out new stuff, we rarly say: Thats not working in Jira. Jira helps us to work togehter every day and keep an overview.

Pros

Jira has a lot of freedom in how to adapt your process and your way of working. I like that there are thousands of add ons, which will meet your needs. I also like the community and that you can ask for featgure requests. I like that Jira has a lot to offer, like the ticket system. This reduces interfaces and copy/ past style of working.

Cons

There is almost nothing in Jira I would wish differently. Maybe the only thing: More possibilities in the dashboards to track more KPIs in different graphs and so on.

Reason for choosing Jira

During that time I was not part of the company.

### "A must have for Scrum teams"

February 21, 2023

5.0

It is a day-to-day tool for me. It manages my entire workload, and it provides visibility for the team and product owners of the state for Products, Projects, and Contributors' performance. It's also the place that serves as a gateway to other parts of the Project as documentation and code. We use the entire Atlassian family products and I must save is a pleasant digital workplace to work with.

Pros

It has plenty of features out of the box. It has multiple layers (Teams, Projects) that can support the organization of the whole company, establishing enough separation, but at the same time, the right integrations between the different teams within the company. Can be easily integrated with the whole Atlassian universe (Bitbucket, Confluence), and I truly recommend doing so as you will have every single possible place to put any part of your project (code, backlog, sprints, documentation). It gives you all the needed tools to handle any Scrum or Canvas team, although you will take more advantage of using Scrum I must say. It can be easily integrated via code, and make very creative automated build ticket systems.

Cons

It's pricy and having a lot of free options out there that can handle multiple people, it's hard to say that is the right tool for small indie teams. It is indeed the right one for companies, but for low-budget teams.. it's probably safer to go with free options that don't limit the members' amount.

### "Jira : Collaboration of multiple people on same platform"

July 22, 2021

4.0

Jira is an extremely useful product to work with a very large team and many project at the same time. Jira supports Agile and Kanban both the types of project management strategies.

Pros

It's a very powerful tool. It provides many advanced features to collaborate with people. We can easily tracks things on Jira through our mobile devises and other gadgets. It helps us to plan the projects with tasks and sub-tasks.

Cons

It is an expensive software compared to other open source software. I have worked with many software Jira is one of the most expensive product that we have used in our projects.

### "Very easy for project's collaboration."

April 30, 2024

4.0

Great tool when it comes to managing projects (from tiny ones when there might not be a PM assigned so someone in the team plays the Coordinator role, to large typical PM-led projects) simply and dynamically.

Pros

Its user-interface friendliness and lack of complexity makes a difference. Being able to easily set "@name" status update notes for collaborators is also very convenient as it triggers automated email(s) to the corresponding inboxes. No training is required to start utilizing it. Intuitive by design.

Cons

Hard to say... maybe the reporting capabilities can be taken to the next level.

### "Everything You Need to Know About Jira"

May 25, 2022

4.0

Almost every software team uses a project management tool like Jira. The importance of a well-managed development process cannot be stressed enough. A streamlined workflow is vital to ensuring that a development project doesn’t spin out of control and that your client will always receive high-quality work. Being able to keep track of multiple projects, clients, and deliverables simultaneously is key to improving overall productivity as well as maintaining an airtight workflow.

Pros

Pro 1: Easy Time Tracking One of my favorite things about Jira is its time-tracking feature. You can easily track which team members spent their time working on certain issues, giving you insight into how your projects are progressing. (This could also be a con if you work in a more collaborative environment). Pro 2: Easy Project Management Prioritizing tasks is an essential aspect of project management. With its dashboards, Jira allows you to prioritize projects by quickly identifying which are progressing well and which need help. With a quick glance at your dashboard, you can easily prioritize what’s next for your project teams.

Cons

Con 1: Technical Issues Projects created in Jira have an issue type called technical that is often confused with bugs. Because issue types are pre-defined by default, it’s hard to use your own words to describe what a technical issue is. When you create an issue for a bug or technical problem, there’s no way to group it with other issues about similar problems so users can focus on problems across several projects at once. Con 2: Difficult to Get Support The biggest negative about JIRA is that it's tough to get support when you need it. This is due to Atlassian's heavy reliance on their community forums, which are frequently inundated with low-quality questions from new users. If you have a complicated issue, or your problem isn't being addressed in any forum threads, Atlassian's usually helpful but small team of professional service agents (PSAs) may be a better bet than waiting for help from other users.

Reason for choosing Jira

Jira offers everything a team would need in one place at a great price. If you’re looking for more than just bug tracking, but also project management and task lists, then Jira is worth considering. It’s easy to set up and manage, so it doesn’t require any special IT knowledge. The online training center can help people get started right away.

### "Excellent software, easy to use and makes processes a lot quicker!"

July 4, 2022

5.0

Jira has been an excellent software to use and I would recommend it to anybody who may need a system like this in place to track tickets and to easily plan out sprints.

Pros

Jira is a software that any company can benefit from, it allows users to easily set up ticket tracking as well as track their process from sprint to sprint to allow users to easily see an overview of where they might sit in a sprint t any given time.

Cons

Jira can be a bit buggy with use on smaller screens or phones if you just wanted to see on the fly, I feel as if Jira can have a better interface or fix their interfaces on a phone/cellular devices.

### "Powerful Ticket and Project Management Tool"

January 24, 2022

5.0

I have been using this software for over 4 years at 2 different companies. In both cases I have been the one to install and configure the software

Pros

It is as powerful as you want it to be. A company could easily hire a full-time employee to concentrate on Jira. It also has a good marketplace, where you can find any plug-in you could imagine.

Cons

Being as powerful as it is, some features and customizations are only fully realized when you make the commitment to dig in and learn the software. Thankfully, there is pretty good documentation, training, and forums available.

### "The finest tool for managing and planning is Jira."

May 12, 2023

5.0

It is the best project management software I've ever used, and I had a great overall experience. There are a couple others that I have used in the past, but none of them can match JIRA. It is very difficult to deny when there is an integration of slack and confluence.

Pros

The options for customization are nice. It is simple to organize activities and monitor progress because the tool can be customized to meet the unique requirements of each project. Using Jira's dashboard capability, we designed a customized Kanban board to visualize the status of all tasks on a single page, making it simpler to make choices and spot possible bottlenecks. On one project, we needed a comprehensive picture of task progress in real time. Making decisions and locating possible bottlenecks became simpler.

Cons

Although it is designed to be flexible and adapt to every demand, it beautifully meets none of them. An enormous amount of overhead is required to guide all internal practises towards the same idea and implementation in order to operate at any scale. Although I'm not sure whether we could ever replace it, I am aware that it isn't the ideal choice.

April 19, 2021

5.0

Pros

This software is so great, that you really don't need to train people on how to use it. Project managers will be familiar within a day, and users will understand it quickly because Atlassian put a lot of work into an intuitive user interface. This is the best option on the market if you want something that scales across your company without draining your energy. Not only will you run projects through here, but you can also setup all your standard business processes to run through here. Using the marketplace, there are some great extensions for Jira. We built our entire accounting team into Jira, and used it to know we were following through with our key daily, weekly, monthly processes. Using a scheduler plugin, we were able to create tasks, with subtasks, delegate them, follow up with progress, and print a custom summary report at month end outlining completion, completion date, user, and notes.

Cons

You will likely want confluence or google sheets to keep overall big picture notes.

Jira has been critical for our software development team, and is the tool we cannot live without. It is the source of truth for our project management data, and is key to keep everyone up to date with progress.

Pros

### "Atlassian's Jira is THE only option for Technical Program Management and Software Development"

June 13, 2023

5.0

From start to now, I'd say incredible. I'm a technical program manager and oversee several projects and dozens of developers daily. If I did not have this tool I would not be as efficient as I am. In fact, when having this tool linked into an Engineering Data Management tool (Jellyfish), I actually won an award for my previous company with that I did within Jira, for my team, and Jellyfish. I'm a forever fan.

Pros

Out of the box, Jira is very intuitive and very effective for any user. What I love the most is even after several years, hundreds of Software Developers, dozens of Atlassian University courses later... I AM STILL continuing to find more and more amazing ways to utilize this tool and not have to purchase other tools when Jira can nearly do it all!

Cons

It being so very customizable, and having many folks using it, it's just the training period for onboarding new users. It's not awful and it's literally not Jira's fault, it's more of a people thing. Some folks just don't take the extra second to embrace the awesome powers of Jira.

Reason for choosing Jira

It's a proven tool, time and time again in several reviews over the years. It's globally recognized and integrates into just above every quality tool for any business. Working remote and having Jira, as well as other Atlassian products is an absolute no brainer.

As a designer, it has completely revolutionized the way I work by organizing my workflow, allowing me to collaborate with my team in real time, and keep track of my assets and tasks. Their granular system for categorizing tasks has proven to be amazing for me and my team.

Cons

I wish I could search by file name to quickly find assets for re-download or link a specific ticket to teammates who may need to reference a ticket where I know a specific asset is located. Otherwise, I have zero complaints about Jira. It is super powerful and has all the collaboration tools I could ever want.
