## What is Microsoft Lens?

Microsoft Lens (formerly Microsoft Office Lens) is a cloud-based solution that enables businesses to convert pictures, documents, and whiteboard content into PDF, Word and PowerPoint files. Those files can then be saved to OneNote or OneDrive. Handwritten text is recognized thanks to OCR (Optical Character Recognition) and allows words to be searched and copied for editing purposes. My overall experience is great. It has been very useful and easy to use which are the things I look for in a system.

Pros

I like the document management the most. It is very easy to use and easy for organizing. The text recognition and image conversion are great tools!

Cons

I do not enjoy the customer service. They are a bit slow to respond but other than that everything else is perfect

Mon expérience globale avec Microsoft Lens a été positive. L’application est simple à utiliser et permet de scanner rapidement différents types de documents comme des feuilles, des notes ou des tableaux blancs.

Pros

L’application détecte automatiquement les bords du document (feuille, tableau blanc, carte de visite).

Cons

L’application est très efficace pour scanner des documents, mais elle offre peu d’outils d’édition avancés (annotation, modification de PDF, ajustements détaillés)

Very positive, many photos are almost unusable these days and this helps to transform them and make them more suitable.

Pros

Really useful tool for scanning and improving quality of images for distributing. Great technology!!

Cons

The learning curve is a bit steep, not always super intuitive for how to use it, but still once you get the hang of it, it is more easy.

Esperienza più che positiva, assolutamente utile e semplice da utilizzare in qualisasi luigo in cui ci si trova!!

Semplicemente unica e spettacolare!! Si può scannerizzare qualsiasi cosa con il cellulare a portata di mano!!

Cons

L'unico svantaggio a mio parere è che funziona con la connessione dati attiva, ma altri svantaggi non ne trovo!!

app molto comoda, la preferisco alla camera di default del cellulare la utilizzo molto come se il cell fosse uno scanner portatile

facilità di lettura dei testi e di identificazione della parte della foto che contiene la pagina con il testo

Cons

non mi sembra abbia cose negative: forse è un po' scomodo quando si vuole selezionare manualmente l'area con il testo nella foto

I have been using lens to quickly scan old documents to create digital folders. It has allowed me to centralise my materials without using the scanner/photocopier in the office

Pros

Easy way to scan for pdf creation, it allows good centralisation of old documents and can integrate with other systems

Cons

Occasional difficulty in scanning with light and position but I find this still better than the majority of other pdf creation materials

Overall I have had a pretty pleasant experience using Microsoft lense.

Pros

I like how straight forward it is to use Microsoft lens and being able to save the files I scan to my OneDrive.

Cons

Unless the handwriting is super clean and clear, I wouldn't suggest using the ocr feature. Ocr work well on printed text and unless the handwritten text is clear and clean it will struggle to produce the correct words.

Microsoft Lens is a professional scanner that gave me a premium results for my all scans. Easy to use and have all required filters. As well as, scanned files can be converte to a PDF or different format which really helpful.

Best free to use scan app in the play store/app store

Pros

This app makes me easy to scan my documents at anytime. Interface is soo simple and easy to operate. Available filters are great. Furthermore I can save scanned images to my gallery, PDF, word and PowerPoint. That's a great feature that I love

Gets stuck when saving scanned photos, but not every time.
