### "Confusing Set-Up"

Took months to get set-up all the way completed as there was an issue with the Microsoft customer service reps not being able to assist with set-up or integration. Very frustrating experience.

Pros

Microsoft is one of the world's leading software's, so it integrates with most other products nicely.

Cons

The customer service for set-up was awful, took weeks to get everything properly set up and the customer service reps don't seem to know what they are talking about.

Overall, Office lens is a must-have application for every person that has either a Office 365 account or a personal Microsoft account. I use it almost every day to capture pictures of whiteboard drawings and upload them automatically to my OneNote.

Pros

It is really convenient to have a mobile scanner that uploads pictures taken of printed documents, whiteboards and even spreadsheets and converts them and stores in your preferred cloud storage solution.

Cons

It can be a bit confusing to set up, especially if you have both a personal Microsoft account and a Work or School account (Office 365) on your mobile. Sometimes it wants to save to your personal OneDrive but tries to authenticate with your work credentials.

I have used and fell in love with this software that I find it difficult to pinpoint a thing I least like about it. Generally, the software has been wonderful and a time saver and stress reliever. I cannot remember the last time I went to computer shops for scanning.

Pros

Office Lens is the best scanner app I have used. It is worth 5 stars. The premium android version can copy out text from sheets, read text directly from scanning and save documents in pdf and other formats too. This app is recommended for all students and office workers for best obtainable portable scanning without depending on traditional scanning machines.

Cons

It is difficult for me to find what I do not like about this software.

When traveling for work, I use Office Lens to take pictures of all of my receipts in near-real-time and then have them available in a "scanned" look that is acceptable for accounting when I submit my expense reports.

Auto-corrects pictures taken from a phone to look more like they were scanned and not taken with a phone camera

Cons

Office Lens is a fantastic tool if using Microsoft products or companies that align with Microsoft; if you're not using such a product, it becomes a fancy photo editor.

It was obviously not designed for scanning a document and saving as an image. It’s market position is doing absolutely everything one could possibly require, but they forgot to provide the 6 month training course. I am now tired of the struggle of trying to make this work. iPhone by the way. Why do companies keep taking a simple concept, and trying to adapt it to do everything one could imagine. By the time they succeed they have something only their developers can use. To do “everything” one must approach the limits of complexity. A user needing simplicity is facing a multiverse of complexity. Whatever happened to the KISS principle.

Pros

It looked cute on the screen when a colleague demonstrated it to me.

Cons

It’s innate ability to make a simple task into definitive flexibility.

As mentioned above, I use it for getting fast scans of documents I need to share with colleagues or the accounting dept. It is fast enough and provides a quality solution.

Pros

Easy UI with nice features allowing you to make scans fast and share them with others. Intuitive and easy to apply basic features. Quality-wise it makes accounting simple and as an employee I was able to provide the accouting dept. with receipts quickly. Quality of scans was enough to accept the bills. And that is essential. Have already shared the app with some colleagues and they are very satisfied with features it provides.

Cons

Needed to look for some more advanced sharing features for longer time, but all in all I managed to do what I wanted to.

Everything is good about this app, but only one thing which makes it irritating . Whenever I do a pdf and send it from the app to whatsApp, I tap send it and it show "Failed to Load media" Please fix this. In Spite of this it is a great app.

Pros

This app is amazing! You can make anything with the pictures you take... PDF, PPT, Word doc etc. Plus, the cropping capabilities are awesome as well. There are features which enable you to rename, save or share the document right after you create it! The UI is fine and UX is on the next level! And if you are looking for something to replace CamScanner, then this is the best option as it provides many more features like reorder images etc.

Cons

Free and interface is nice! One thing that would be nice is if the rotate doc option could be at the top of the menu so you don't have to open the pop-up menu every time.

It is very easy to use and capture information. In addition collating all of what you capture in the pages order is very easy on this app to do.

Pros

It has special scanning features such as capturing information from a whiteboard or business card or passport photo. It adjust amazingly well to capture various platforms.

Cons

It does not gives you an option to save output to a non-microsoft app on my phone although I can email whatever I scan.

Pros

It's very easy to create different types of documents through this app (I have used it primarily for creating pdf's). The app is very easy to use and saves the files within the app. Files can easily be shared through all the options available in the phone, like WhatsApp, Gmail, etc.

Cons

The app is fine but the major requirement to create good pdf's is that the smartphone's camera should be good. If the camera is not clean or isn't a good one, then the user will encounter problems relating to the clarity of pdf.

I like that no matter where I am at, I can scan any document. It has been so convenient especially working virtually to get sheet music to my students online. Overall, this has been a great product and a nice change to other apps I have used.

Pros

I love that I can use my phone to scan any document any time and have an incredible, clear picture as a result. I have tried other scanner apps for sheet music and they just aren’t able to capture the detail like this app is able to do. It’s free and many other scanning apps charge. I’ve been impressed with the way I’m able to arrange each page in a different order than it was scanned before I upload it as a PDF.

Cons

Sometimes it doesn’t accurately crop the images so I have to manually do it, but it doesn’t take much time and is fairly simple to do.

It doesn’t have a TON of features and the times I needed customer support, I had to wait online a while.

This app makes me easy to scan my documents at anytime. Interface is soo simple and easy to operate. Available filters are great. Furthermore I can save scanned images to my gallery, PDF, word and PowerPoint. That's a great feature that I love

Gets stuck when saving scanned photos, but not every time.

Pros

It scans my documents perfectly. Document quality is at the best level that can be done with a phone. This is the most important feature for me.

Cons

I think the software is at a pretty good level right now. Only loading times can get quite long sometimes. This can be improved.

My favorite application. I'm saving lot of time due to this all of the official document and my university application I'm converting to document using this. OCR Saving is one of the best format for me.

Pros

This application develop by Microsoft, this has good reorganization. Application is intelligent to identify document borders then we can do the crop, rotate and file size selection. I'm pretty interesting with One Drive saving option including business card scan. Applicating is fast and working without any issues.

Cons

I don't have any single least point to mention about Office Lens. Grate application. Thanks Microsoft
