Accuracy degraded until the product was unusable from July — we couldn’t train it to reliable results and the errors affected our own customers. We had to buy a replacement tool, then Nanonets refused to refund our $6,000 USD prepayment for a period we couldn’t use, offering only future credits after two weeks of chasing. Don’t prepay for a long term. Pros Worked originally and then progressively got worse, had to constantly ask support for assistance which would take weeks Cons Model doesn’t get trained and learn for next situation. We set up an almost touchless autoamted process to handle the entire worklfow of receiving document, extracting data and ingesting it into an appropriate database in the format of our choice. Pros The ability to create custom data extraction models for specific document types. Our use case was limited to a set of internal documents that Nanonets learnt to identify and pull key data from. Nanonets was also instrumental in setting up an automated worklfow to pull the raw data, extract relevant data and ingest the same into our DB of coice. Cons The trial period could have been a bit longer by default IMO. There was just quite a lot to test wrt our workflow. But the team at Nanonets did extend it on our request- so that's alright. The software was suggested to me by our professor. I scanned various fields of invoices to store the data categorically. This would help me to draw insights on sale and other details like high demanded products in a season etc. The tool is very quick, easy to use, the UI is almost intuitive and it becomes extremely easy to scan the documents. I also liked the feature where I could go and manually enter the dates or other category data of nanonets in case the scan fails or not available. Pros The feature of extracting the texts from invoices and categorising them so accurately really impressed me. I was amazed by the wonderful way of scanning and storing invoice data so easily and automatically without writing any codes for it. Cons Well nothing specific. The software served my purpose well. They will work with you and your needs, and the AI is powerful and responsive. just 10 test documents and its off to the races. Pros We have an issue in our firm, where bad data can cost us more than a lost receipt. Nanonets helped put a stop to that problem, by allowing our receipts to be OCR and searchable. No longer are we losing or missing data / bad data inputs. Some of it was handwritten, while others appeared to be fairly old. Because manual segregation was impossible, Nanonets came to the rescue. Pros The entire setup procedure was really straightforward. We used it as part of a university project, and I was amazed at how easy it was to use. The user interface is really simple, and even someone without a technical experience might use it to complete the job. Cons The only issue was that you needed a machine with a lot of computing power. Got what we were sold. Great experience. Pros Our use case was performing OCR on around 750 pdfs a month of the same format but each with their own unique data. We use a zapier integration to populate the data and upload to our marketing platform of choice. Does exactly what it is supposed to do. The support team is amazing. Helped us get setup the whole way and checks in regularly to see how things are working or if we need anything.
