It seems every time I try to adopt a new feature I am met with bugs, or some 'try and buy' scheme that's not specified so they can easily get their hooks in me and force me to upgrade to their next tier. I do not think Helium 10 is an ethical organization. I think they're a bunch of talented and corrupt developers looking to get as much money out of their consumer base and they are happy to confuse their customers in order to keep their hooks deep in the operations of their customers. If I could go back in time I would have taken the less impressive feature-set of Jungle Scout to avoid the dishonesty of this organization. Pros Certain features work well. They come out with new features frequently. Be careful to vet new features before using as this company has a tendency to release features that appear to be half-baked and not quite ready to go to market. Cons Portals: they allowed me to create a portal (landing page) due to a glitch. I should never have been able to at my price tier of Platinum. I created collateral and included an insert in my packaging leading customers to the portal. The portal has a 100 page view limit, essentially making it useless. They say I have to go to their next price tier of Diamond ($250/mo) to remove this limit. At no time when creating the portal was I made aware of the limit. I also purchased a domain through Helium 10. Any domain purchased with Helium 10 has a limitation that it can ONLY BE USED FOR PORTALS. This limitation is not specified when purchasing. Now I've been trying to get them to migrate the domain to AWS for several weeks now and their development team is continuing to work on it. I'm now sending out collateral containing a landing page that goes nowhere because I don't want to upgrade to diamond. My packaging contains a 'products@MYURL.com' that isn't hooked up to a web server because the domain contains a limitation of only being useful for landing pages created through Helium 10 (again, they do not specify this limitation when selling you the domain) and I'm completely screwed if my customers follow my insert or try to reach me by email. Their support team continues to assure me that this will be addressed. They've been doing it for about 3 weeks now. Now Helium 10 is a no-brainer, as Helium 10 as added many additional tools and maintaining a high-level of UI/UX. I have been able to drop subscriptions to other software. My main daily tools in the Helium 10 suite are Cerebro for keyword search, Keyword Tracker to identify the keyword with the highest potential, Follow-up for auto-emailer, Profits for financial analysis and now I can add ADS this week and I'm looking forward to Inventory Management later this month, these I will use daily. Cons I have no cons with this software. It's like comparing Amazon to all other platforms. Amazon is not perfect but there is no other even close. Same with Helium 10, I have subscribed to just about every popular Amazon tool suite out there, no others are even close to the value from Helium 10 for the money. Ok, when I first started using Follow-Up I thought something strange was going on but support set me straight that I hadn't specified the ASIN for the auto-email. " August 20, 2022 1.0 Pros Honestly, the software is just ok. Its complicated and takes a bit to learn but can be helpful while it works but half the time it doesn't work. Please read my cons and overall experience to see the motive of this review. Cons I signed up for the service on the 18th of July. My service that I paid for was for the 18th of July through the 17th of August. Yesterday (the 17th of August) I cancelled my subscription, meaning I have no further obligation with Helium 10. Helium 10 Charged me regardless of my cancelled subscription, for another month of service that I do not want. I should not have been charged, and at this point I should not be obligated to continue with the service. I expect a full refund for the service that I was charged for. However, helium 10 obviously doesn't care about keeping customers and taking care of their customers. The timeline was that I cancelled at 8:45PM on August 17th and my card was then charged for another month of service at 9:02PM August 17th. After much arguing to try and have this reversed they would not complete my request and are sticking me with a $99 bill for the next month of a subscription I cancelled. Unbelievable. If you are still stuck on anything which you will be at time just shout up customer support. The more you can tell them and show with screenshots the quicker they will resolve your problem. Pros Quite simply the more you use H10 the more you find it can do. Now the valuable piece of software I use. It's great how they bring together so many tools under one roof. I found Jungle Scout really helpful and a good software tool when I was starting my Amazon seller journey but after 2 years I jumped ship and got on board with H10 and I have not looked back since. Their Refund Genie tool returns enough lost income to cover the subscription fee and more!!! I can't recommend highly enough. The Diamond plan is a bit overpriced for what you get as you just get the ADS software, which is fairly good, but it's becoming less useful as Amazon is building out more and more functionality in their Advertising console. I find that I don't use the ADS tool much. Pros Helium10 offers the full range of tools that you'd need for market research and running a business on Amazon. Since it's pretty much all you need it's handy that you don't have to look elsewhere for one tool here, another tool there. Most of the tools are quite accurate – accurate enough to make important decisions regarding product selection – and provide a significant amount of data. Cons A couple of the tools, like the inventory analyzer, are inaccurate, though they're not the important ones. Their customer service can take a really long time to respond to some issues, particularly ones that involve billing (sometimes it can be weeks rather than days). Pros Any changes on the listings are reported (new reviews, feedbacks, any changes; i.e. how many sellers of the product, etc. My question about follow-up email system was answered quickly and with courtesy. All questions answer within a few minutes. Cons On the email system when I set up a template the "Message Preview" is overlapping the page. It's not easy to see how it looks. That would be helpful if you would change that so it's a clean and easy view of that page. The team at Helium 10 has not taken their foot off the gas of refining their great set of Amazon seller tools. There is not another seller tool platform in their class. Cons There is nothing I don't like about Helium 10. The only thing on my wishlist is they develop an integrated social media platform that works with Helium 10 Portals and our website. I opened tens of cases with bugs and error, however, they does not care. When I requested a refund as I did not receive a service I paid for, they refused with no reason.
