It is a good takeoff tool and once you have loaded your rates and variables it does effortless calculations. Entering quantities is easy. Overall, it gets the job done but I feel it lacks strong development behind the program. Pros I like the takeoff method it has. Very organized and easy to break out certain items relatively quickly. I like the consistent innovations and product development. Cons Not being able to change labor rates in one click to multiple selected ones. I don't want to change every labor rate, but at times, the average rate that appears on multiple screens may need to change based on job requirements. It is the best Electrical estimating software on the market today, in my opinion. Pros Ease of use and combine it with Livecount, its great. November 18, 2014 4.5 Pros I have come to depend on the inherent reliability with Classic. Help and support are second to none. I really don't have any experiences to draw comment from for Enterprise, but I believe it will be a solid choice with unlimited customizing potential. The system is laid out in an easy to use way once you understand how the program works. Additionally the reporting options and ability to break down estimates is unmatched. The other systems I have to use are not as user friendly as Accubid. The ability to cut and paste from an Excel spreadsheet makes getting bids ready on bid day so much easier then typing each on in. While I'm not sure I would call it intuitive, it is fairly user-friendly to learn the basics. Some of the more complex functions require training or at least research to become efficient. Pros Flexibility to build your own assemblies for mass counting, plus there are ready-built assemblies included. Cons Price. Some functions could have been easier to operate in my opinion.
