This saves a lot of searching and questions within the company. In addition, it ensures that everyone works on the basis of the same principles. Pros Scienta is easy to use for users. Through a clear layout and a good legal structure, you can make relevant content available to the individual user. Cons All content of a provider must be rated, while this is not necessary for all content. It would save a lot of work if you could differentiate between them. De klantvriendelijkheid, de professionaliteit, transparantie in wat wel en wat niet kan, echt top. Pros Customer support, ease of use. Heel klantvriendelijk, altijd pro-actief en denken goed mee met de richting die belangrijk is voor de organisatie. Cons Quality management, internal communication. We hebben een workflow voor de kwaliteitsdocumenten en een lichtere voor de niet kwaliteitsdocumenten. De werkwijze hierop zou gebruiksvriendelijker kunnen, maar ook daarin wordt meegedacht en zijn er oplossingen in de maak. December 3, 2024 4.0 It's a very easy to use tool which made it possible for us to register all our processes and keep them up to date and at the same time share them with everyone in the company. Pros It's very easy to use for everyone within the company and to collaborate on stuff. Also it's great that it's possible to give specific rights to certain (groups of) people. Cons The editing of text is a bit 'basic' and not as use to use as for example office word. Also an 'excel like' function would be useful. We hebben een goede selectieprocedure gevolgd en wisten wat we zochten. Pros Scienta fungeert binnen onze organisatie als centraal communicatiemiddel rondom kwaliteit, werkprocessen en andere relevante informatie. Cons Ik zou het leuk vinden als we zo nu en dan verrast zouden worden met een nieuwe functionaliteit waarmee we de zichtbaarheid en betrokkenheid bij Scienta binnen de organisatie kunnen vergroten. Hoeft niet groot, maar bijvoorbeeld een leuke nieuwe widget of iets visueels voor op het dashboard. Wat ik minder vond is de overgang naar een advanced en premium model. Hierdoor zijn functionaliteiten die we eerder wel hadden verdwenen naar een duurder model. Dat is niet prettig. October 27, 2021 5.0 Scienta is the entry point for all organization, businesss, process, etc. questions arising in a company. "If Scienta is not leading to an answer it does not exist". In the latter case, the employee easily can fill in the omittance and launch a task to fill in the gap. Pros The product is easy to use and easy to configure. Every employee is up and running within an hour and can customize the environment to his own preference. The employee is able to initiate changes to the content by launching tasks towards other employees and/or admins. Therfore, the system is gradually built by all employees as the ultimate form of continuous improvement supporting quality managers and content managers. The way in which all documents are connected, its intuitive navigation, and keeping documents up-to-date by creating tasks, are some of Scienta's key strengths. It's an excellent SaaS solution for an annual fee, without any hidden costs. Furthermore it's user friendly and keeps getting better. Cons It's really a 'one-to-many' type of communication platform. If there is information, i.e. processes, that you wish to share with many people, it's amazing. However if you're looking for a solution that can also do one-on-one communication. i.e. keep track of employment contracts of users, then it's not suitable. Review Source IC Irma C. We use Scienta to keep our customers (i.e. accounting firms) up to date about all the laws and regulation they have comply to. Scienta is a perfect solution for this, because customers receive updates automatically, they can adjust the information according to their owns standards and can allways compare new documents with older versions. Our organization operates across multiple locations, and Scienta is what connects them. Forms are easy to find and always current. The individual dashboards fit our way of working perfectly. As a director, I notice the impact directly: I receive far fewer questions, because people can find what they need themselves. And when something isn't in Scienta yet, that's immediately clear, which makes it easy to act on. The system creates accountability and visibility without adding administrative burden. The support team deserves a mention too: the helpdesk is responsive, approachable, and genuinely helpful. Pros Scienta has brought real structure and transparency to how we document and manage our processes. Before, we were working with scattered files, multiple versions, and no consistent overview. Now everything is centralized, up to date, and findable. This has been particularly valuable for our ISO 9001 compliance, Scienta makes it straightforward to demonstrate that our quality management is not just intended, but actually embedded in daily practice. Cons Setting up Scienta requires careful thinking, both about how you structure your content and about who gets access to what. As someone who is visually oriented, I found this conceptual groundwork a real challenge at first. The sheer number of possibilities can feel overwhelming. That said, WoodWing provides guidelines that genuinely help with this, and once the structure is in place, it pays off.
