Pros Veed has allowed us to create videos and pre-recorded presentations, with features like adding audio/voiceovers into videos, Text to speech and subtitles. Cons The Elements are limited, and projects cannot be split into parts. For eg a course of five modules, the project cannot be split into these modules. Five separate projects must be created. It bridges the gap between using canva and using premier pro / after effects. Pros The ease of use and web based platform make it easy to access from any computer. If we need to do quick edits then this is what we use. Cons Becuase it is web based however there can be performance issue. Would love to see a system version of it that uses the power of your hardware. The product works adequately but the billing model relies on customers forgetting annual subscriptions. When I raised a legitimate dispute I was stonewalled, given inaccurate evidence, and ultimately left with no refund and no access to the service I paid for. A PayPal dispute and Financial Ombudsman complaint are now in progress. Pros Voice recording is functional and easy to use. Interface is clean and straightforward to navigate. Cons Pros: Voice recording feature is functional and easy to use. Cons: Billing practices and customer support are deeply problematic. Charged $348 for an auto-renewal, account cancelled 8 days later with no access to the service paid for. Refund refused despite evidence the renewal notice was never opened. February 28, 2026 5.0 Visual communication is effective with the guests as a Customer Service Lead. I am using it to make quick property tours and frequently asked video clips. It is very friendly to the novice, but usage of large files is buggy. Pros The convenience in creation of videos is amazing and the user-friendly nature of the product enables our hospitality department to create interesting tours of our properties within a very short time without any prior knowledge. Cons Video editing at a more advanced level has an unexpectedly steep learning curve, and the customer service is entirely uncooperative when the system inevitably crashes in the process of a lengthy save and export. Leaving pricing aside, the tool is average at best. You can get many more features from competitors, which also offer ease of use and have AI features that are actually intelligent and are available at half the cost. Pros It's clean audio feature is good and UI is easy to understand. Overall the tool is intuitive and good for users looking for a simple video editing tool. Cons AI features are garbage, and it's video editing features are not clean enough. The tool will give you some initial kick but overall you will always feel like your videos are either coming in poor quality. VEED deceptively offers limited access to these features on lower-tier plans, making you believe they’re included—only to upsell you later. Their pricing strategy feels intentionally misleading, and the lack of a real refund policy means you’re stuck if you’re not satisfied. It’s a bait-and-switch setup. I was satisified with the program until I ran into an issue and there AI responses are a mess and noi help. After 5 frustrating days of trying to get help, I canceled. The worst part is I have reached out to support several times and nothing has ever been resolved. They won't even give me a refund even though I am not able to use the software. Pros Nothing as I have not been able to create a video with this platform for the past 4 months due to the number of glitches. Cons The fact is I paid for a service and was not able to use it due to the countless glitches and the non-responsive support staff. Social Media Manager Marketing and Advertising Used the software for: 6-12 months ### "Got Fooled by Veed.io" October 25, 2022 1.0 Veed.io organized a referral campaign claiming that they will reward users 1 month PRO plan for every new user they invite to the platform. I'm working in a video production company and I invited more than 10 people and spent hours onboarding my colleagues one by one. I made them disable ad-blockers before clicking my referral link, made them upload a footage, edit it and then export. I was literally like a on-field support team for Veed the whole day. However, Veed returned the favour by not rewarding my well-deserved PRO plan of one year claiming that they can not track how many people registered through my referral link. I even contacted their customer service and told them I could give a list of people who registered through my referral link but they chose not to help. So Veed used people like me for free marketing. And they succeeded. Pros Video editing, live stream recording, subtitling. Cons Veed's customer service is not really helpful when you need it. Comedian Performing Arts Used the software for: 6-12 months ### "Way too many bugs, almost impossible to use" January 31, 2023 2.0 Pros This software has the potential to be really good, there are a lot of great features that are helpful in creating content that will trend online. Cons There are so many bugs. So many. It always crashes at least 5 times whenever I try to make a clip, and all my clips are between 30-40 seconds, I'm not editing huge chunks of footage here. Sometimes when I upload my video it won't appear at all, the screen will just be black. The only way to fix this is to erase the project and start over and keep trying until the video shows up. Other times it'll crash just when I'm trying to splice the footage, or zoom in on the timeline. It is nuts. I was excited about this software when I first found it because it had all the features I needed, but I just cannot use it anymore as it negatively impacts my productivity. Maybe I'll come back in a year or so and see if the bugs are fixed. Do not waste your money on this, seriously. They charge a ridiculous amount for something that is not passed the beta stage. There are so many bugs and errors in their software, you'll spend most of your time pulling your hair out! VEED is probably one of the worst editing softwares I've ever used, and way over priced for what they offer. Any time I had issues with the platform, I'd reach out to support and their answer was always the same; "We checked with the developer and there's nothing they can do about it." Well then why are you charging people money to use your crappy platform?!? The AI parts of VEED are awful, the eye correct changes your eye colour and makes you look like some sort of mutant. The "remove background" tool is a joke. Nothing more to say about that. And one of the most frustrating parts of using their platform, was that the system would change things that you've finished and revert them back to previous versions without warning or the ability to recover your lost work. So, you'll waste ridiculous amounts of time replicating work you've already done. It was absolutely maddening! I've moved over to CapCut, which I wish I had been using all along. They're system is far more intuitive, compatible with my projects, and is about 1/3 the cost of VEED. Pros There really aren't any good things to say about this platform. Pros I like best its variety and user-friendly functions, which can help turn any idea into a great video. Though online, you can add subtitles, crop, cut and even reduce noise, which is exceptional in VEED. Cons Actually, I could not find what makes less attracted compared to other video editing platforms. They requested I take detailed notes on the issue....but as a payer customer, my role is the use a working platform; not run their tech development and reminding them to fix a major issue. Unfortunately, my video was WAY too big, even after activating my pro membership. I contacted support, who were available immediately. Rather than telling me "too bad, it's too big" \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] offered to create subtitles himself! Even after being told I needed it pretty much instantly, he was willing to do it (complimentary, too). Unfortunately, I couldn't transfer the file, despite \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] suggestion of google drive, email or drop box. Despite the fact I didn't use the software, I'm so grateful for all the help I was offered- totally unexpected and totally appreciated. To no fault of their own, this video just wasn't going to happen, but he really, really tried. Pros Easy to use, straight to the point! Hard to get it wrong. Cons No negative comments. It was very user friendly for someone who had never used it. I like the auto subtitle feature. Cons I did have some issues with the auto subtitle feature. Customer support was slow, unhelpful, and clearly more interested in hiding behind policy than actually helping users. €21 wasted for a tool I won’t ever use again. Shameless practice. At times, it's completely unusable because of the delays. Editing becomes frustrating and extremely time consuming instead of seamless. If the performance issues were fixed, it could be a great tool, but as it stands, I don’t recommend it. Canva Pro is much more user friendly and now with it's AI tools you can also add the subtitles, filters, audio etc. and it works without any buffering issues! Pros Veed has some good video editing features (although you need the top level for most features) particularly their AI subtitle tool. Cons The constant buffering and lag issues.
