We have a lifetime license and love it. We use it daily and couldn't imagine not having it.

Pros

I love the collaboration tools. The screenshots view is incredibly helpful for seeing exactly what the other user is seeing to be able to quickly troubleshoot issues.

Cons

We have found user management from within the main parent site where PH is installed to be a little confusing and cumbersome.

We use a dedicated wordpress install on a subdomain to keep things clean. We use Project Huddle for quality assurance before showing the website build to clients. If the client is tech savvy we'll ask them to comment with Project Huddle but more often than not, a video call is better and we use PH to mark their issues.

Pros

It's much quicker to see and fix bugs on website builds as they're visually shown on each page. The UX is intuitive, and all concerned get daily/weekly notifications of the issues / comments / resolved status. I can view the issue from the designer, ask a question, or fix it and comment "Done". They then click resolve and the pin disappears or they reply to clarify and I fix it. It also takes a screenshot. Clients can also leave comments or updated copy and we can reply or comment done and resolve this. Everyone gets notifications.

Cons

It needs a "review" option with a different colour - not just resolved - to show to the bug finder this is ready to check. This could show when a comment needs a response. When there are 40 bug markers on the page and two are questions to the designer from the dev team it's time consuming to go through each one to find the questions.

When collaborating with more than one client on a specific website build this software is a gem. Everyone is able to see the same notes on the site and add their opinions on the actual site build.

Pros

I like that I can discuss the site build with my customers and make notes about edits in real time. I like that my client can make notes on the site in exactly the area they want changes made.

Cons

If your client is not tech savvy then the software may not be for you. If your client has a minimal grasp of technology you should be fine.

It was a good experience, and if you are going for WordPress then this is a great choice, personally, I moved to a SaaS just to remove the maintenance of WordPress out of the equation.

Pros

It's the best choice for a client feedback plugin in WordPress, they have a good track record and keep improving it.

Cons

I found the UI/UX kind of clunky, but overall I didn't face any big con.

Unless your WordPress site runs like clockwork on clean code and fast hosting, I'd skip any solution you have to host yourself. I prefer SAAS for this very purpose.

Pros

Beautiful whitelabeling and options for branding. This really feels like software YOU BUILT for clients. It's hard to beat the aesthetic...if only it worked smoothly.

Cons

It seemed to break with every WordPress update or it was incompatible with my theme. It was also incompatible with my Shopify. I eventually migrated to another platform.
