However, your organization has enabled an optional setting: "Require device be online." This means your devices must have a live connection to process a punch, making the speed dependent on your local internet during peak hours. If your team disables this requirement, the app will return to its native offline speed, eliminating those loading delays. Cons It can be sensitive to changes, it's fast and sometimes a click leads to various changes. For example, one click on somebody's profile and while it loads you click on that same profile but the click goes to what was going to load after. It offers a wide range of configuration options, including job setup, costing features, reporting, time off management, policies, rounding rules, and more. The system is highly customizable to suit different organizational needs. What really stands out is the support team — they’re always quick to respond, very knowledgeable, and even willing to implement small feature requests that help prevent user mistakes. Pros App works well for tracking of clock in of operative on our constructions sites, we use the briefings feature and inductions. Reporting is fantastic compared to other options on the market. Support is Fantastic, questions are answered very quickly. Cons Nothing really to note, we have used it for years and it works well. Using this application is easy workers are provided with a link to install on their own personal device for timekeeping. Punches synchs to the cloud system and you can even make punches offline and sync later when internet is available. There are some issues we encounter but overall, the experience with Fareclock is amazing and would recommend to others. Pros Easy payroll management for employees, you can even use it offline, and time ins cannot be altered to make late punches appear as not late since it uses system time. Pros The mobile interface is good, making clocking in and out really quick for employees. You can set different codes like absent, rest day, on leave & resigned which is really useful for complex schedules or compliance needs. Cons Employees find it easy, but as admin sometimes the setup and when employee have a schedule of 12midnight is a bit overwhelming at first but later on its easy to understand.
