January 4, 2023 5.0 Gusto makes accessing my payroll super easy and convenient. I am able to see my vacation days, benefits, 401k, and my next pay day. Pros I love how Gusto has a 'rainy day fund' where you can opt to have a portion of every paycheck removed and moved into a smaller savings account through the software. This makes the saving process much easier, as it is automatically taken out of each paycheck. Cons I have no negative comments about Gusto thus far! Operations Specialist Non-Profit Organization Management Used the software for: Less than 6 months ### "Not the best" January 13, 2023 3.0 Gusto seemed like the perfect software when we went through the demo, but the features just don't align with what we saw. Customer service is also very hit-or-miss. I once spent an hour on the phone arguing with one representative about a fee they claimed was non-refundable, but when I sent an email to customer service, the representative I spoke with via email easily refunded the fee. Pros The employee platform looks nice and is generally easy for them to use. Cons There are many features that don't work as promoted. For example, the time management software is only for hourly employees. There is a project tracking feature, but it doesn't align with pay periods. The time off feature isn't very customizable. We provide the full leave balance to employees on Jan 1st, but the software only allows employees to accrue leave. Review Source KB Katherine B. You are able to edit your info/account info for direct deposit quickly and easily. Cons The only issue I have is that your pay doesn’t hit your account until some point throughout the day of payday.
